《That Special Brunette || Aro x Bella||》Eptá

Everyone sat in the living room. Edward playing his piano, Carlisle and Esme sat playing chess, Emmett and Rosalie were in their bedroom, Jasper and Alice sat besides Esme and Carlisle, watching the game of chess.
The sound of the piano filling the living room. They all were in their own world but that world was interrupted by the sound of the door bell. Everyone in the living room looked up with a frown of confusion except Alice.
Edward stood up from the piano bench and walked down the stairs. He went to the door, grabbing the door knob and twisting it open to be meet by Demetri and Felix.
Edward's face twisted from confusion to anger. His amber eyes glaring at the two Volturi guards. "What are you doing here?" He asked with anger dancing in his eyes. "Now, now, Edward, we are your guest, talk to us with respect," Demetri said, smirking.
In the living room, Carlisle was confused by the fact that Edward was taking quiet some time then usual. Carlisle stood up from his seat and walked downstairs.
He reached the front door to see Edward engaged in a glaring contest with Demetri and Felix. More specifically, with Demetri.
"Edward," Carlisle said softly, making the "young" vampire look at him. "Demetri and Felix, how do we owe a visit by you?" Carlisle asked softly, taking his place in front of Edward. Demetri smirked.
"Master Aro send us to give you and your coven a message," Demetri answered. "Just for us?" Carlisle interrogated. "No. It is a message for all the vampire community."
Carlisle nodded. "What is it?" He asked. " C'mon Carlisle, let us in first," Demetri said. Edward scoffed at their request but Carlisle took a step back, letting them in.

"Carl-" Edward stopped mid-word by the look in Carlisle's look. Demetri smirked and walked in, Felix following him.
Carlisle gestured for them to follow him. Demetri nodded and Carlisle started to walk upstairs. Demetri and Felix followed their suit. Edward just stood there in his place, watching the Volturi guards go up.
His gift had caught the message. His mind was conflicting with his heart. While his mind said that Aro can do anything with Bella, his heart said that this wasn't right. Bella deserved to live.
Edward sighed and went upstairs. He could feel the tension in the living room from the ground floor.
Edward saw Carlisle, Demetri and Felix standing in between the room, the others glaring daggers at Demetri and Felix. Rosalie and Emmett must have smelt the Volturi as they were standing in a corner.
"Why are you here?" It was Rosalie who spoke up. Demetri looked at Rosalie with a smirk. Edward saw Emmett's hand around Rosalie's waist tightening.
"Tell them," Edward said. Everyone looked at Edward with confusion, having no idea of what was going on.
Demetri's raised his chin in superiority. "Mistress Isabella was turned by Master Aro, yesterday. She might wake up till tomorrow evening. All the vampires are invited to a masquerade ball," Demetri announced.
Everyone's eyes widened as the news sank in their heads. Esme's hand shot up to cover her mouth while Carlisle placed a hand on her lower back in a comforting manner, his face filled with concern.
Emmett glared at Demetri and Felix while Rosalie looked uninterested. Alice had a "I saw it happening" look while Jasper looked deadpan at the two Volturi guards.
Edward looked defeated in a way. His dead heart filled with sorrow for the brunette lady. His face looked at the opened window and back to his family members.

Carlisle caught the look on Edward's face. He doesn't deserves to be alone, Carlisle thought. Edward caught on the thoughts and gave Carlisle an encouraging smile.
Carlisle understood that behind that encouraging smile was the lonely boy dying of Spanish Flu. The boy who watched the death of her dearest mother and father.
Carlisle turned to Demetri. "Is that all?" He asked in a polite manner. "Indeed," Demetri answered. Carlisle nodded. "We will leave now. After all, we don't want to be late for our mistress awakening," Felix said.
Carlisle hummed. Felix and Demetri opened the window and ran out of the room and the Cullen household. Everyone's postures relaxed slightly as they were finally left in their own world.
