《do you》xxv

jennie wanders around her eyes in her class boringly as the teacher discusses his subject, plainly not interested in the topic. she studies in advance yesterday, since she has a lot of time for herself. (she's still mad at lisa).
last night was quite disappointing, her ears alerted to any sound of the door opening, expecting a tall blonde-haired girl to enter her room. but she didn't. so she forced herself to study to get her thoughts away from her.
five minutes seems hours to jennie, five minutes till' she sees the blonde again. she hopes.
she fixes her things immediately after the bell rang, arranging her books in order of the sizes, putting her pencil case on the side. as she fixes her things, she saw a crumpled piece of paper which she have never seen before.
she huffs in annoyance, whoever threw their rubbish here will get a deserving smack on their face. she opens the crumpled paper and sees doodles of her name was written on it. different fonts and sizes, some with hearts, and hearts all around. who wrote it?
she anticipates for a blonde to surprise her, with a loud 'boo' or a jump, but a disappointing frown was plastered in her face yet again.
"pranpriya..."
"jennie?" she cocks her head up at the mention of her name.
she jumps from her seat and immediately goes to the source, hugging her by the waist. she sniffles her scent, not lavender? since when did she changed her perfume?
"i miss you." she mumbles and kisses her neck.
"jennie?"
not lisa.
she looks up, only to meet the person she least expected to see. what is she doing here?
not lisa.
she gasps and pulls away like an electric shocking her. questions popped inside her head along with the loud thumping of her heart. "jen, you looked like you've seen a ghost." rośe laughs like it was nothing.
definitely not lisa.
"w-why are y-you here? what–what–"
"lisa sent me here. says she couldn't come." rośe delivered. she bore her eyes on jennie's, seemingly mesmerized by the girl's cat-like eyes. she coughs and turns away, roaming her eyes around her surroundings instead. jennie breaths, trying to calm herself.
"why can't she tell herself? she must be disturbing you." jennie scoffs.
rośe tilts her head and shrugged. "at practice. she's my best friend."
"she can ask for a break can't she? what if she starves? what if she's thirsty? who'll wipe her sweat off?" these were the thoughts inside jennie's head. rośe smiles at the concerned look of jennie for lisa.
and for another second the 'flirting' moment of yesterday came into her mind, changing the brunette's mood. she huffs. "she's probably flirting with that momo chick." she scoffs.
"momo's just my friend." jennie mimicked lisa's voice with a high-pitched tone. rośe laughs which got unnoticed. "she's a head turner." jennie rolls her eyes at rośe's statement. "as if i care."

"what are you still doing here?" jennie asks after a few seconds as she slumped on her chair. rośe went near her and sat on jennie's table, facing the side. "remember when we skipped classes?" rośe asks with dreamy eyes.
jennie remembers. everything.
"yeah," jennie simply says.
"let's do it again?" rośe says with excitement in her eyes. jennie looks at her in disbelief. "are you insane?"
usually, rośe would say, "insane for you," but that was before. all buried in the past.
rośe shakes her head violently and holds jennie's hands a little tight. "pretty pleaseeeee," she begged with her cute voice.
rośe's not as innocent as you think.
"ask jisoo," jennie deadpans, trying her best to not fall for her aegyo. she pry's her hands away from chaeyoung, placing it inside her pocket. she takes a deep breath, her heart thumps loudly again.
"she doesn't want to. she's a scaredy cat. and it suddenly reminded me of you so please jenjennnn,"
jennie made an annoyed face but deep inside, she wants to. she wants to feel carefree again, when problems weren't as hard to deal with. she wants to do it again, do it with the only person she was with from the start.
"fine." jennie huffs. "but i'm only doing this because i've got nothing else to do."
roseanne squealed and jennie can't help but to smile at the sight. she remembers, she always do.
"let's go!"
after their intense sneaking-out-of-school, they sat on the rock a little far from their campus, breathing so hard and calming their beating hearts. rośe was the first to laugh, and jennie follows after, now rolling on the floor.
"did we just–" jennie says in between her laughs.
"we just did." rośe finished her sentence and offers her hand for jennie to take it. jennie unhesitantly takes it, feeling a little comfortable around her ex.
"now where will we go?" jennie asked. rośe gave a quick smile and holds her hand. "follow me."
the bell chimes indicating a customer coming in. the aroma of coffee and pastries filled the girls' nostrils as they roam around their eyes to look for a place to sit. the taller points at the far end corner which was vacant, the shorter following her like a puppy.
they sat and both exhaled, still can't get over their deed.
jennie's mind was full of thoughts, questions and predictions inside her head as she looks at the girl in front of her peacefully gazing at the glass pane. she thinks and she thinks and she thinks, ignoring the loud thumps her heart produced.
the hugs, the kisses, the moments, the lies, the pain, the destruction, the unspoken goodbyes. all she felt because of rośe.
"roseanne." jennie coldly said.
a shiver ran down rośe's spine as she looked at jennie's fierce eyes. "yes j-jen?" she asks.

"why did you want to sneak out with me? why did you drag me here? why did–"
a question cut off jennie's sentence.
"does lisa know?"
jennie's heart almost stopped. lisa. she remembers lisa just now.
she hesitantly shakes her head, a tear threatening to spill from her eyes. "jisoo knows?" she asks, scared.
"n-not yet. she's starting to suspect t-though. should i tell her? should we tell them?"
jennie blinks, even she, herself doesn't know what to say. should they tell them? they deserve to know, they are their friends, they'll understand. but is she ready yet? is she ready to face the fear she's been running away from? what would lisa feel? will she get hurt? will she still accept her? but nonetheless, they deserve to know, lisa should know.
jennie spoke, not the one in her mind.
"what really happened between us rośe?" jennie asks as she trembles, a tear escaping her eyes. rośe's heart momentarily stops, a question she's been wanting to answer but is afraid to. she gulps, her eyes coating with tears.
"what did i do wrong for you to replace me? wasn't i good enough? am i that boring for you to hurt me like this?" jennie's questions shot chaeyoung straight in the chest, unable to contain what she feels as she broke out silently, covering her mouth to suppress her sobs. jennie too, was crying and shaking at the same time, she just needs a break away from her. but it's time to face the truth.
after a week of sitting on my bed to remove my cough and colds, i went outside to have fresh air and some vitamin d. i wore a floral dress with sandals and tucked my messy hair in a hairband.
i hummed a happy tune as i walk around the neighborhood, seeing the familiar houses i pass through to get to my lover's house.
"i wonder what she's up to since she hasn't visited me," i mumble under my breath as i hopped my steps, excited to see her again.
once i spot the familiar cream-colored house, i hopped to their doorstep and pressed the buzzer. i hear a faint 'ring' before seeing the door opened, to be welcomed by none other than rośe.
she gave a cute little smile, and i smiled back, noticing her eyes a little swollen. but nonetheless it looked soft and warm, just the pair of my favorite familiar eyes.
"wanna go for a walk?" she suggests as she stepped out from their house, showing her clothes which were slightly revealing. "why are you wearing those?" i ask her with furrowed brows, perplexed and slightly furious. she knows i'm not in favor of letting other people looking at her exposed skin.
"c'mon jen it's just clothes." she retorts and laughs to lighten the atmosphere. i huffed and intertwined my hands to her but she placed her hands on her pocket so i locked our arms together instead.
silence fills the air as we walk, feeling like we've been walking for hours. rośe used to be the one who talks or rambles a lot, but i guess she isn't in the mood today.
her eyes were also distant, the way she looks at me was not as passionate as before, she doesn't look at me on the eye for not less that three seconds. i noticed all of these within the minutes of walking with her. but i don't feel like i'm with her all along.
"hey, anything wrong?" i ask her with a pout and she our eyes met, having an intense eye contact. her eyes were troubled, frigid, and now i clearly noticed, puffed.
she gives me a small nod and sighed, sitting on the bench beside us. i sit with her too, my heart pounding, gulping and wandering my eyes at my surroundings. i feel lost. "enlighten me." i say in a calm voice but my voice nearly flattered.
she looks at me in the eyes and all i could see were mixed emotions, and her face was blank. i don't know what i should feel.
"jennie..."
she hung her head low and sigh, seemingly can't express what she feels. i held her hands on mine and caressed it, supposing to give calmness and assurance but instead she flinched at my act, placing her hands on the sides of her pocket.
something isn't right.
we were silent for a few moments, not knowing what to say or do. i can't see her face because her hair was covering her face, so i just stared onto what i can see. my hands fidgets, palms sweating and i swallowed my saliva. i've never been confused in my entire life.
"i'm breaking up with you."
five words.
five words that broke my heart.

(
hey, just because jennie deleted their pictures, it doesn't mean you have to throw shades and hate on her. gosh, you guys are so infuriating. it's her account so it's her decision whether she delates it or not. whatever she posts or do in her account, let her be.
yeah, i'm also sad because she delated it but we also have to respect. i get that you ship jenlisa, but they are just a SHIP and SHIPPING IS FOR FUN.
stop being deluded because they are all friends and they all love each other. everyone also misses lisa not only you. you only think about yourself and what satisfies you that you don't even care about their feelings.
stop it guys, you are crossing the line.
nice payback, jennifer. )
