Trial of Monsters and Summons
Humanity faces complete annihilation after nukes are launched all over the world at the end of WW3. A deity intervenes moments before the bombs explode, preventing the destruction of all life remaining on Earth. This action isn't without a price though, as the deity gives humanity a chance to survive by placing them in a trial of its' own making to prove their worthiness. Thus beginning the Era of Summoning, and everything humanity knew is turned on its' head. Suddenly the world revolves around summons being used to fight monsters hellbent on wiping out humanity. "Will humanity band together to become stronger and fight off the monster hordes, or will they remain as they were and continue on the path they were previously set on and bring about the complete annihilation of their race?" 8 123The War of our Stars (SWTOR Fan fiction)
YAH, PICTURE! Also, I used "The Old Republic", as I couldn't fit in "Star Wars"....... Yes, the title does mean something. I guess this is a SWTOR Alternate Universe Fanfiction? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I used glowtxt, Microsoft word, and paint to make that. I DO NOT OWN THE PICTURE, I got it when I searched up "copyright free". Also, I just used glowtxt, but if whoever made glowtxt wants me to stop, I'll get rid of it. Whilst this is a fanfiction of SWTOR, the setting is VERY different, you will not see any SWTOR characters within this Novel, there will be places both made up and already existing in SWTOR. Take for example, whilst the Dark Council still exists, it will have completely different members. Also, there are minor changes to the history before and during the Old Republic, but there is little overall change, with the main character starting out at a similar time to a starting character. Star Wars the Old Republic Fanfiction. You'll understand the title, not in the first chapter, but as Frederick goes to outer space. Before the Rule of Two, there were multitudes of Sith and Jedi. Numbering thousands of both Sith and Jedi, a great war between the Empire and Republic has existed since time immemorial. From our World, a young boy named Frederick is born into the Galaxy of Star Wars, born into an Imperial Family, he lives up to the expectations of becoming a powerful Sith. But all he wants to do is to survive.... But by surviving, he does more so than simply surviving. Many have made star wars fanfictions, and this one will probably...... (I have read, watched and played Star Wars, so here you go) NOTES: Action and Adventure are a bit light for the first few Planetary Arcs. I'm terrible at comedy and romance will come will really late. Absolutely terrible until Corellia.
8 297Thomas the Brawler
Thomas doesn't remember what his last name was, before it became Bluebrim, a name belonging to another universe. He's also pretty sure he wasn't this stupid before he arrived, but what can you do, when a day that was supposed to begin with an interview to set your life back on track instead begins in a universe that makes no sense, with rules you can't begin to understand? Maybe he should have paid more attention to the avatar creation screen ... Content warnings: All of them. Seriously. Expect lots of blue screens to begin with. Don't expect a power-leveling fantasy, in which the lone hero beats up all the bad guys, and gets a harem of women. There's just a guy who treats character creation like an annoying series of pop-up advertisements, and the story is basically the ramifications of that. The main character has to learn to take the world he's found himself in seriously, and he'll learn the way most of us do, by doing it wrong first. This is, insofar as it is successful, a dark comedy fantasy. Also a bit of horror, particularly but not exclusively body horror. I'm pretty sure I've earned those Content Warning tags, so, uh, yeah. This is practice. Hopefully things improve as I go, and figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I make no guarantees things will ever get better. I've already made mistakes, I'll make more, and I'm happy to notice them each time I make them. You don't improve unless you fail. (On the plus side, it probably won't get much worse.) Feel free to point out anything you think I'm doing wrong; I don't promise to change anything, particularly if it's a matter of taste, but I am looking to improve, and figuring out what I need to improve goes faster if I don't have to try to figure it out myself. I've updated the earlier chapters for formatting, in the hope that it would make everything easier to read on mobile devices. Hopefully things work slightly better now, but please let me know if there are any issues anywhere.
8 147He Finally Cares
In this Outsiders fanfic Rylee Darien, a 15 year old girl from Alabama, gets kidnapped during her dance practice. She then finds that she is lost in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A gang helps her escape her kidnappers for now, and finds herself falling for a dark, mysterious man. Will she find her true love and escape the kidnappers for good? And what happens when secrets get revealed? You'll have to wait and see.
8 210Stolen
A child stolen from his parents, subjected to torture and misery for 6 years before his mind finally shattered into pieces, his once sole control over his body stolen, now shared with unknown beings that are as puzzled as he is over their existence. Finally escaping the home he knew, how will he survive with these voices in his mind that takes over his body from time to time? Strictly for mentally mature readers, story depicts gory and psychological related mental issues in detail and is relatively depressive with a maniac of a Main Character.
8 175Life's Exodus
I was a being that transcended even the Gods.I stood at the top, the apex, the pinnacle of power. And yet here I am. Shackled, powerless; a mere husk of my former self. The memento of my loved one binds me to this cursed place. Why, you ask? Why? Because I am. I am the end, the harbinger of demise. It was my quest. To bring end, to be end.The Gods respected that wish and in turn got immortal life. But, oh the irony, the immortal life I gave them made them break their promise.Corrupted by their attachement to their mortal selves they betrayed me.They took her life, one of their own kind and my love, and bound me with her flesh and blood. She, the Goddess of beginning. I would end the cycle and she would repeat it. We were so different and yet we loved each other. My rage burned without stop in sight, however time takes it all. Hate, love, sadness, joy, they are all taken away. But the memory, the memory of hate, to kill the Gods, this stays. Yes, I will end them. They played me a fool and now it will be their time to pay the price. But the price is costly.I can't wait! Their fall is near! My dawn shall be heralded by their deaths. Corpses shall tower to the skies and blood shall form rivers! As I am death incarnate! I am their bane, their RUIN! You fools, you don't play... with DEATH!My new destiny awaits.....
