《The Triplets' Guides (Reader Insert Version)》(y/n)'s Guide to Survival

(y/n), Dipper, and Mabel were in a boat out on the lake when the camera finally flickered on. All three of them were soaking wet.
"And that concludes (y/n)'s guide to wakeboarding" (y/n) said. "Where we learned to not drive the boat too close to the rocks!"
(y/n) glared at Mabel, who only grinned at the camera.
"And that wakeboarding can be turned easily into water skiing!" she added cheerfully, holding up the remains of the wakeboard, which had been split in half vertically down the middle.
"And that rocks and boat motors don't mix, and that we're stuck here until I can fix this!" (y/n) yelled indignantly, holding up the smashed boat motor.
She huffed heatedly before she took out her tools, and started to get to work on repairing the motor.
Dipper wasn't paying attention to them, for his focus was mainly on the sky above the lake.
"Uh, guys?" he said, his voice rising with anxiety.
"Not now, Dipper" (y/n) said, not noticing the dark clouds that were only starting to accumulate more. "I'm kinda busy."
"But I really think we should go now..."
"Can't it wait? It's not like we can go anyways with the motor busted."
Mabel had looked up to see what their brother was so worried about.
"Uh, (y/n)? Are dark storm clouds called 'nimbus' or 'cumulonimbus' clouds?"
(y/n) finally looked up.
"Wait, what?"
Heading towards them were dark grey puffy clouds, which were so thick that they blocked the sun. Rain was pouring out from under the clouds, and the only source of light was coming from the occasional lightning strikes that flashed from the sky.
All of their eyes widened in fear, before they each picked up a spare oar.
"ROW!!!!" (y/n) screamed.
The three of them all started to paddle frantically, plunging their oars into the water and pushing the boat forward as quickly as they could.
The wind had picked up and was blowing the triplets' hair backwards, and in Mabel's case into her face.
"The storm's catching up!" she screamed, as she spit out more hair.
"Keep rowing!"
Unfortunately, it looked like the storm was brewing a wave in the lake, and that as it travelled closer to them, the wave only seemed to grow in size until it was upon them.
All three of them looked up just in time to see the tremendous tidal wave about to crash over them at its peak.
The camera flickered on weakly, revealing an unconscious (y/n) lying on the sandy ground. Her eyes were just starting to flutter open.
She groaned in pain, and slowly sat up.
Suddenly, her eyes widened and she gasped in shock.
"Dipper! Mabel!" she exclaimed, forcing herself to get off the ground and hurrying to look for her siblings.
She found Mabel first. She was lying face down on the beach.
"Mabel!" (y/n) exclaimed, rushing to her sister's body. "Are you still alive?"
"No" Mabel moaned.
(y/n) breathed a sigh of relief, and helped her sister off the ground.
"Where's Dipper?" Mabel asked.
"I'm here" replied Dipper's rather muffled voice. "But I could use some help."
The two sisters turned to find Dipper, whose top half of his body was buried in the sand.
"We've got you, bro" (y/n) said, as she and Mabel each grabbed one of their brother's kicking feet and pulling with all their strength. Eventually, the rest of Dipper popped out of the ground.

As he started to cough up sand, Mabel patted his back in a comforting manner.
"Thanks guys" he said. "But where are we?"
(y/n) was already observing the area.
"We appear to be on a small lone island that's not Scuttlebutt Island" she concluded. She then turned towards the camera.
"This just turned into (y/n)'s Guide to Survival."
(y/n) held up a rather soggy cardboard sign to the camera that was labelled '(y/n)'s Guide to Adventures: Survival, Day 1.'
"It's Day 1, and so far things are as good as being stranded on an island can get " (y/n) said to the camera. "We've assigned jobs to help with survival. Mabel's on shelter duty, Dipper's on food duty, and I'm on boat duty."
She panned the camera to show the remains of the little boat, which had crashed onto the shore into multiple pieces. However, she appeared to have put most of it back together, for all that was left was a giant hole at the bottom of the tiny boat.
"It took a lot of tree sap, but it shouldn't take me long to patch up that hole" (y/n) said, before turning towards her siblings. "Hey, guys, how's the shelter and food going?"
She panned the camera to the side to reveal Mabel building a small hut built out of a variety of different leaves and wood about two feet away from the boat, and Dipper bringing in two woven baskets full of what looked like coconuts. He appeared to be struggling with carrying their weight.
"Almost done! It just needs a few finishing touches" Mabel cheered. She turned to see her brother struggling to carry both baskets.
"Need any help, bro bro?"
"No thanks, I've got it" he replied through clenched teeth, as he tried to walk closer with the baskets.
However, he lost his grip on one of the baskets, and it tumbled out of his arms. Coconuts spilled everywhere, and Dipper screamed as he tripped over two of them.
Unfortunately, many of the coconuts had collided into the shelter and the unstable little hut started to tilt to one side.
"She's coming down!" screamed Mabel.
The small hut fell...right on top of the nearly fixed boat.
When the dust finally cleared, all that was left were the broken remains of the shelter and the boat, and coconuts scattered everywhere.
"Ok, this time it's gonna be different" (y/n) said to the camera. Instead of being on the shore, (y/n) was surrounded by several trees in a forest deeper on the island. She seemed to be hiding in a leafy bush.
"Mabel's fixing the boat, Dipper's building the shelter, and I'm getting food" she said. "And this time, we'll be hunting instead of gathering."
A huge grin crossed over her features as she turned the camera to her target. It was a brown, medium-sized rabbit, who was grazing on a patch of grass.
(y/n) then turned the camera back towards her, to show that she was tying a sharp rock around a staff-sized stick with a piece of twine.
She fingered the makeshift spear, and concentrated on her target. She took in a deep breath, before pulling back her arm and letting the spear fly.
It missed the rabbit, who jumped in surprise before scampering off in alarm.
(y/n) took off after the creature.
"Get back here, you little-"
It was evening when (y/n) turned the camera back on, revealing her torn clothes, cut up limbs, scratched face, and black eye. Her bandana was tied around her upper arm as a makeshift bandage for a gash.

"That rabbit took me through rocky ledges, cactus fields, and blasting water geysers, but I won in the end!"
She held up the dead rabbit to the camera with a crazed triumphant look on her face. One of her eyes actually started to twitch.
"I wonder how it went for the others" she said, as she pushed back the foliage to reveal their camping area.
She froze in her tracks at what she saw.
Both the shelter and the boat were laying in pieces on the ground, and both her siblings were up in a tree while a panther was growling at them from the base.
"(y/n), help!" Dipper screamed. "Mabel thought that it would be a good idea to hug the sleeping panther!"
"It was so cute at the time!" Mabel protested.
The panther turned, and caught sight of (y/n). Its eyes narrowed, but (y/n)'s did as well.
Both of them charged straight at each other.
The panther stopped, and roared fiercely right in (y/n)'s face.
(y/n) took in a deep breath before she roared right back, a savage, ferocious roar that was so rapacious that it put the panther's to shame.
The panther actually cowered under her bloodthirsty stare, before it scampered off through the bushes and into the forest.
(y/n) then turned towards Dipper and Mabel, both of whom glanced at her with concerned eyes.
"What happened to you?" Dipper asked.
"Don't ask" (y/n) replied. She glanced at the pile of rubble that had once been their shelter and their boat. "I think it's time for another job swap."
"Ok, this time it's gonna work, I swear" (y/n) reassured the camera. She was back on the shore. "Mabel's getting food, Dipper's rebuilding the boat, and I'm rebuilding the shelter. What could possibly go wrong?"
The shelter was actually half way done. The walls had already been built, and all that was left was to add the leaf roof.
(y/n) grabbed a leaf off the ground, and reached upward to place it on top, but that movement caused something to drop out of her toolbelt.
(y/n) didn't really think much of it, for she was too focused on trying to get the leaf roof in place. When she was finally satisfied with its placing, she looked back downwards to see what had dropped out of her toolbelt.
Her eyes widened in alarm.
Lying on the floor in the middle of the nearly finished hut was a ticking bomb, and it was counting down from ten seconds.
10...9...8...
(y/n) screamed, and bolted out the door to find Dipper rebuilding the boat.
He looked up from his work at his sister.
"Hey, (y/n), what do you think of it so fa-"
"GET DOWN!!!!!"
(y/n) tackled her brother to the ground just in time, for the entire hut suddenly exploded in a fiery blaze, destroying Dipper's boat as well.
It was just then that Mabel was just getting back to camp. She was singing cheerfully with a basket full of red berries.
"Hey guys!" she was saying. "Look what I fou-"
She was cut off when she saw the fiery remains of the shelter and the boat, and Dipper and (y/n) just getting up off the ground.
However, she kept the cheerful smile on her face.
"Well, at least we have food!" she said, holding up the berries before popping one of them into her mouth.
"Mabel, those are poisonous" said (y/n).
Mabel immediately spit it out, and started coughing as she pounded a fist onto her chest to get all the remains of the poisonous berry out.
Dipper was at his wit's end.
"Ugh! This is hopeless!" he shouted in frustration. "At this rate, we're probably gonna spend the rest of our lives on this island!"
He then turned on (y/n).
"Let me guess. You blew up the shelter with a bomb?"
"It was an accident!" (y/n) shot back. "Just like how you dropping those coconuts was an accident!"
Mabel suddenly came in between the two of them, pushing them away with her arms. A wide grin was plastered across her face as she was stuck with an idea.
"Wait, (y/n), did you say you had a bomb?" she asked eagerly. "How many of those do you have?"
"Mabel, this plan is either pure genius or pure idiocy" (y/n) said to her sister as the three of them were hiding behind a rock several yards away from the pile of bombs on the shore.
"I'd say it's a little bit of both" Mabel replied.
(y/n) sighed, before taking out her last bomb from her toolbelt. She activated it, then tossed it towards the pile of bombs on the shore a few yards in front of them.
The triplets could see the timer on the bomb countdown.
"4..3..2..1.."
With a fiery blast, the bomb exploded, causing all the other bombs it was touching to explode as well. The blast was so powerful that it skyrocketed high at least several miles in a brilliant blaze.
Dipper wrapped his arms around both of his sisters protectively to shield them from the explosion, even though they were already hiding behind a boulder.
(y/n) looked at both her siblings with serious eyes.
"Guys, if this doesn't work, there's something I need to ask you before we die."
Both Dipper and Mabel leaned in to listen intently to what she had to say.
"Go ahead, (y/n)" said Dipper.
(y/n) leaned in closely with a solemn look in her eyes, before she opened her mouth to speak.
"Did one of you eat the last piece of bacon this morning?"
Dipper and Mabel both groaned in annoyance.
"Way to kill the moment!" Mabel exclaimed.
"Just let it go already, (y/n)!" exclaimed Dipper.
Suddenly, there was a rather faint noise that sounded distinctly like machinery, coming from the sky above them.
"Wait, did you guys here that?" asked Dipper.
The three of them looked upwards to see what was clearly a white helicopter, heading towards the fiery signal from the explosion. It was already starting to descend.
"We're saved!" squealed Mabel, and the three of them embraced each other tightly, overwhelmed with the knowledge that they were going home.
As the helicopter finally landed on the sandy shore just a few yards away from them, Dipper turned towards (y/n).
"And just to let you know, I did eat the last piece of bacon" he said. "And it was delicious."
He immediately started to sprint towards the helicopter as (y/n) chased after him, yelling threats that echoed in the distance.

Isekai Dungeoncrawl - Am Ende mit meinem Latein
I have always thought I would live out my life without any major surprises. You know, work on the estates of my parents, serve my time as a soldier, become a senator, a praetor, maybe a consul in time. I thought I will live the life that a Roman noble of my standing can count on. But this was not to be. My previously simple life got suddenly very complicated. I was taken from my home, and now I have to live in a world where no one speaks Latin, no one prays to my gods, and no one knows what the heck garum is. Before, I thought I had all the answers, but now only questions remain. Will I survive? Will I find my way back home? Will I ever be able to get the savage bastards living here to adopt the great accomplishments of Roman civilisation? Not even the gods know the answers. One thing is for sure: should I ever get home again; I will never set a foot outside of my estate without a healthy stockpile of garum. The cover is from Peter Paul Rubens' "The Death of Publius Decius Mus" This webnovel is partially based on a DnD campaign where a party of three players played the adventures The Sunless Citadel, The Forge of Fury and The Witches of Westwater.
8 139The First Magician
James died from touching something he, in hindsight, should definitely not have. As luck would have it, he was reborn into a world with magic, levels, skills, and stats. Just like an RPG! The most curious thing about this new world was that magic had only existed for thirty years. What kind of life will James lead in a world filled with monsters, dungeons, and magic? Usually will update Wednesday and Saturday, but there's always the chance I haven't gotten around to writing in a while so there may be a break. Additionally, I intend to edit heavily between arcs.

8 67RELINQUISH
Sometimes I wonder why the world isn't decorated with something as cool as magic... Why can't we manipulate the laws of the world? Why does the story about God sound too fake to be believed? Why the hope for this world to be saved from the bottom of everyone's heart can never be fulfilled... Then I landed on each conclusion from each of those questions... That humans are the most cunning, meanest and stupidest creatures who are most desperately expected to not have any power including magic itself. That it is not God that we should believe in, because they themselves do not believe in how disgusting human nature really is. That everyone's hope is not for the world to be saved, but for the world to be destroyed in order to save their own selves. That the world from the beginning, was not meant to be saved... (I frequently revise and update the use of sentences in the previous chapters without disturbing the original storyline. so sometimes it takes me a little longer to publish a new chapter.) I have the same novel posted on another website (Webnovel.com , creativenovels.com) with the same name (RELINQUISH)
