A medicine cat ceremony is performed once a medicine cat is satisfied with their apprentice's knowledge, and believes that they are ready to become a full medicine cat.
A medicine cat apprentice's training usually lasts much longer than a regular apprentice's training.
The medicine cat and their apprentice will travel to the Moonstone or Moonpool on a night of the half-moon, and the following words will be spoken:
Medicine cat: "I, (name), medicine cat of (clan), call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He/she has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help, he/she will serve his/her clan for many moons."
Medicine cat: "(Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between clan and clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?"
Apprentice: "I do."
Medicine cat: "Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your true name as a medicine cat. (Apprentice), from this moment you will be known as (new name). StarClan honors your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of (clan)."
The medicine cat rests their muzzle on their apprentice's head, and the apprentice licks their mentor's shoulder. The other medicine cats call out the apprentice's new name.

Sometimes they wake up all alone, confused and with no clue what they should do, and find themselves quickly becoming the home to a family of badgers and other creatures. The Dungeon Core can be left struggling to figure out their role in the world and how exactly they're supposed to achieve it. They're really doing their best, and you shouldn't judge them for it! The badger thing was a complete mistake but there's just no way they can turn back and fix it so they're just trying to make do, okay?! What would you do in their situation?!
