I knelt on both knees, my head barely hovering above the toilet seat. I was throwing up, again.
I almost always did this before every game, getting the nerves out. That's why I always ate so much before a game— so I wasn't dry heaving, which was definitely worse than just throwing up.
I sat back on my butt & wiped my mouth with a napkin, sighing heavily.
You got this, Maya.
This was the first time I had thrown up more than once before a game. It was my first game back after my concussion and the very first round of playoffs, so my nerves had been multiplied by a thousand.
My mind raced back through my dad's letter & knowing my mom would be anxiously waiting in the stands to watch me tonight.
The little waves in my stomach suddenly began to calm down. I stood up, grabbed my helmet, and ran out of the girls locker room, ready to go into battle.

The main character will not be dense. Absolutely no harem will happen, but there might be a few love interests, no more than 3. - I will try my best to not follow cliches and stay as original as possible. - This story is my first ever, whether online or in real life. Thus, I might have grammatical errors here and there. The story might have a few plot holes and other such minute mistakes, as well. But I guarantee to try my best. As all stories begin, Prof died. Yes, truck-kun had something to do with that, but also a bird, a cat and some rebar. When he was presented with with the opportunity in the Afterlife Administration Bureau to be transmigrated into a game-like fantasy world, he did something, no one ever did: he read the Rulebook. Follow Prof on his road to be rich without working, touring a whole new world without a care and witness his realisation, that despite having read the Rulebook the folks living with the System for untold millennia know more about the rules. On the other hand, Traumatising Content is there because there is a lot of speciesism - those Elves are not nice people. 6, I put a lot of pop-cultural references into the chapters, try to find them!
