Me and Marie had just arrived in our London hotel and that was the most rushed trip ever to london. We were supposed to get a train down to london last night because of the kick off today, but it got cancelled because of the track or something. So we got a train early this morning and that was late due to the tracks.

We finally arrived and I was really nervous, I didn't really want to see trent because I'd make a fool of myself and I'd start crying and I didn't want that. I kept thinking about the message he sent last night, okay he didn't send it but have I been sent mixed signals. I was so confused if he liked me or not. Also I didn't want to start something and it affect my job I'd worked so hard to get to the place where I am now.

Kick off was at 2 today and it was now mid-day. I'd been pretty quiet the whole journey because of what today lay ahead. Marie had gone to the front desk to ask for some fresh towels and I was stood near the window watching the traffic go by. Everything felt so uncertain, I haven't spoken to trent since last night, he doesn't know how I'm feeling and how could he I haven't told him and I made an excuse to go before anything could happen.

Marie arrived back with a stack of clean and fresh towels. "I'm back" she said as she out the towels on the mantelpiece in the doorway of our hotel room. "Me and little one are hungry, I'm going to order some room service? Want some" She said as she rubbed her hugs belly. Marie was now 6 months pregnant and only had 3 months left which was crazy. "Yeah just a Cheeseburger and fries please" I said as I turned back to the window to drown in my thousand thoughts.

Trent's POV...

We were at the hotel and today was game day. We arrived last night and their were loads of fans outside waiting for us so some of us stopped including me to sign autographs as well as taking selfies and photos with them. I loved every single person who showed support for me and my team mates for both England and Liverpool.

Some of the boys were having a quick game of Fifa before dinner and before we leave to go to the stadium. The game was set up in Ox's and Mason's room. Mason, Ox, Joe and me were all playing I was up against Ox and won 3-1. Mason lost against Joe who beat him 5-3. We were all sat on the beds laughing when Ox looked at me "Dude, How's you and Maia?"

I looked up and stopped laughing "What about us. Theirs nothing to talk about?" "Oh. Have you spoken to her at all this International break?" "Yeah I spoke to her last night. I messaged her to tell her that I didn't send the message. Actually I left my phone on the seats when we went bowling on Thursday, did you see anything or know who sent the message?" They all looked at eachother and started laughing I was being really serious. Ox held his hand up "Yeah I sent the message but only for your good. Mate It's really obvious you two like one another"

I looked at him I couldn't believe what he just said "Ox you had no right doing that. I didn't get involved when you starting dating Elise back in 2017"

"Mate I know you didn't. But you obviously weren't going to do anything. Did she message back?" I looked at him "She seen it. I haven't heard from her. She left the chat quite quickly" Mason and Joe looked at Ox who looked towards me "What do you mean she left the chat quite quickly?" Joe said.

"I messaged her to tell her that I didn't send that message. She messaged back saying oh and after that she said she had to go. I haven't heard from her since"

Maia's POV...

Both me and Marie had ate our room service and started to get ready, marie putting her hair in a high ponytail and putting her Jean's and england shirt on. I pulled on a midi denim skirt and tucked my england shirt in my skirt (Yes I own a England shirt) I partnered the outfit with my forever faithful air forces and did my makeup. I got my bag ready and so did Marie.

I had seen england before live, I went when I was a little kid with my cousins in France. I tried to think positive and enjoy this experience with one of my best friends but my mind kept turning to Trent. I didn't know how to feel, because how did he feel. How could I ignore my feelings.

We were going to go on the tube to the centre of London and then just walk to the Stadium but that wasnt fair on Marie with her being 5 months pregnant her legs were starting to give her aches and pains. So we ordered an uber to take us to the Stadium and then we would go in.

The uber came and dropped us outside of the stadium. We said thank you and looked at the Stadium in front of us, their was alot of people all waiting or going to see the game.

We made our way to our seats and waited until kick off, the people who were already in their seats or going to their seats started clapping and shouting names, me and Marie looked to see the players making their way to the changing rooms. The lineups had been revealed and it was a strong lineup.

Marie started to shout as she could see jordan, he looked up from his phone and blowed a kiss to her. I looked down to see the tanned boy walking with his headphones in and a rucksack on his back. He was walking with Jadon.

I knew Jadon very well as he used to go to the same school as me and his cousin went to the same uni as me.

I wasn't angry at Trent, I was just confused I didn't know what we were, we were only just getting to know one another and I started a new job.

I snapped out of it and looked to see him looking at me with a small smile on his face, when I had been day dreaming he had been staring at me. I smiled and looked to Marie who was staring at me and at him.

The players for both England and Bulgaria came out to warm up. I couldn't stop thinking about mine and trents interaction earlier on. "Maia you okay?" I looked at Marie and smiled "Yeah I'm okay I guess. I just don't know how to feel" marie smiled and grabbed hold of my hand. "Everything's going to be okay. I promise"

Marie got hungry so when the players were finished warming up and went inside to get changed for the game I got up and got me and Marie a drink and her some nachos.

The food and drink area wasnt that busy so I wasnt gone that long.

When I came back the light show had finished and the players had just walked out ready to shake the Bulgaria players hands and do the national anthems.

After the Bulgaria's National anthem played, The england National anthem started playing and me and Marie as well as all the England fans put our hands on our hearts and sand along the to anthem. After the anthem ended the crowd erupted and it was now for the game to commence.

England and Bulgaria both had chances on goal, Jordan had a cracker of a chance on goal but it didn't go in, Marie had her head in her hands when he missed the chance of scoring his first goal for England.

Harry kane had a chance and scored and the whole staduim went wild but it got disallowed because it was offside.

Bulgaria got given a goal kick and kept passing the ball and Sterling managed to get the ball and pass it to Kane who scored the whole Stadium went wild because England were now 1-0 up!

Bulgaria had so many chances but luckily Pickford saved them. England had a chance and Marcus got pussed so the referee awarded them a penalty. Harry Kane walked up to the penalty spot with his hands on his hips, the whole Stadium stood still and quiet and waited for him to run and when he did the whole staduim as well as me and Marie erupted with joy! England were not 2-0 up in their euro Qualifier.

The referee blew his whistle and half time commenced.

After half time the players for both teams came out and got into their positions and the second half commenced. England had shots on target and then marcus ran with the ball and into the box, it was really tight and sterling was there just in time to whack it in the back of Bulgaria's net. It was now 3-0. Marcus got fouled in the box and so the referee gave england another penalty, the same routine happened with Harry Kane walking upto the the spot with his hands on his hips and whacking the ball into the back of the net. The game carried on until the referee blew his whistle and the game ended.

Harry kane had an Hat-trick and with the help of sterling had helped england win the Euro Qualifier.

Marie was happy and had messaged jordan before the game and he got passes to go see him after the game ended. I didn't find out until we had left our seats and were walking down some stairs down to where the changing rooms were.

"I'll go stand outside" marie looked at me confused "No your not I need you. Come on" she grabbed hold of my hand to stop me running off. I groaned at the thought of seeing trent. I was going to make a fool of myself. I didn't know what to say or do so I just followed her.

We showed passes to the security and stood waiting with the other wags. Tamara was there with Elise who I found out went out with Ox and so me and Marie stood talking to them both about the game and how proud we were of the boys.

Security came and said we could go in? So we all went in. Jordan and Marie hugged & Kissed, with jordan kissing Marie's stomach and talking to her bump. Tamara hugged joe and started talking to him. Elise kissed Ox and All the other wags stood talking to their partners.

I stood in the corner out the way when Jadon walked up from behind and ruffled my hair and gave me a hug, "Hey you, you alright?" I laughed and smacked his hand away "Hey yeah I guess. Congrats on the win!" "Thanks Maia, I didn't think you'd be here. Who you here with anyway?" "Yeah i always planned to come to the england games when you were at home or in the uk. I'm here with marie but she's over their with Jordan" "Cool! Oh right, I'm going to the toilet I'll be back in a minute" and with that he was gone.

I stood on my own for what felt like a while until I seen trent out the corner of my eye packing all his stuff away. When I had been watching him he looked up and smiled and before I could blink he was walking over to me.

When he came over to me he opened his arms and we shared a quick hug "Maia what you doing here, I thought you was watching the games at home?" "Surprise. I was always going to come watch the games at Wembley" I didn't know what to do or say and so we stood there for what felt like forever until trent broke the silence "Maia look about the message the other day" I cut trent off "Trent you don't have to explain yourself to me. You have your lifeyou do what you want it's nothing to do with me" i looked around for where I could walk to, i went to walk away when Trent grabbed my hand and stopped me from walking away. I felt a slight tingle in my stomach when we touched trent looked confused as to what i just said "Maia look I didn't send the message. but I've got to be honest here and the message that you received well the words written are telling the truth. I really like you Maia"

Did i just hear right, that he likes me? I looked down to see him still holding my hand and staring into my eyes I looked up at him "Hold up. What. You like me?" He looked at me and then the floor "Well yeah, I didn't know how to tell you." I smiled and we both gave eachother a hug.

Then Jadon came back and looked between me and trent and then smiled and walked off.

The whole of today and yesterday I was overthinking everything when in reality he liked me back. All I felt was joy and happiness knowing that he liked me and that I wasn't on my own.

It's been a while! 18 months away from and I missed it to say the least. Delighted to represent my country again!

After a while the england players said goodbye to their wags and family and left to go back to the hotel. Me and Marie called an uber from the staduim to go to our hotel. I felt so happy knowing that me and trent were on the same page that we both liked eachother. We haven't really spoken about what happens next I guess we're just taking it as it goes.
