It had been a week since the Victory for Liverpool.

I had been helping out more at the Tourist centre has i had nothing to do, all the assignments were done and no work was given out. So i decided I was having a chill day, I hadn't been feeling great so I decided I really needed a pamper day day. I decided to order pizza and put Netflix on I chose "To All the Boys I've loved before" in the end and sat on my bed under the blanket and duvet with my pizza. I still hadn't heard anything from liverpool and was starting to get worried but i tried to not let it effect me.

After crying like a baby because of the film. I decided to open my laptop and look in my emails in hope that a certain email would be there and to my surprise there at the top of the junk mail that she had received was the email i wanted and craved since i sent the Confirmation Email two weeks.

I opened the email and screamed

Dear Miss Steel,

Thank you for your email. We are happy to see that you have accepted the place.

We are holding your induction day on Wednesday this week . If you could come to Melwood training ground at 10 o'clock. Just sign in at the reception. The director of internships will be there. If you could come with your Id card and certificates, that would be great.

We can't wait to see you And we look forward to it.

Thank you for your time.

I screamed, Wednesday was tomorrow i would be going to the training Ground where all the players train. I was kickstarting my career and i loved the fact that tomorrow I would be inside the famous Training Ground.

I hadn't got chance to plan for my induction as i wasn't sure if i was to have one. So i texted Nare in hope that she could help me with outfits and Nare never let me down.

With less than a hour, the doorbell rang and i opened the door to see Nare stood their with a box of krispy kreme doughnuts. "Hey sweetie, so what do you need help with" we exchanged hugs and went up to the bedroom.

The room was covered in clothes and the once Filled wardrobe was now empty. I needed to look smart but not over do it. "I can see you've been struggling with what to wear Maia, but I'm here now. Let's get you Liverpool ready!"

We both set to work finding the right outfit.

"Thank you Nare, I really dont know what I'd do without you" I said. Nare and i had met when Nare moved to Liverpool and with Me working at the tourist centre i showed her around and we've been friends ever since. Nare had a little baby girl two years ago called Engel and she's the absolute cutest!

I decided to take all the girls out for dinner to celebrate the email and my induction day. So i messaged the groupchat to say that we would meet at the Italian restaurant just down the road. Nare couldn't come because the nanny couldn't stay any longer because she was busy but both girls decided they'd meet for lunch when they were both free and so i could see engel.

All us girls loved Italian food. So i booked a table for 8. I got dressed and did my makeup and left for the restaurant. I arrived and so did the other girls.

We all sat down and ordered our food and celebrated that I got the email and having my induction day tomorrow.

They were happy for her and even teased her about finally getting a boyfriend. The dinner was fun and maia was grateful to spend her celebrations with her closest friends.

The next day...

I set her alarm for 7.30, i was really nervous but also excited. The day had come.

I only had two glasses of red last night to ensure i didn't wake today with a hangover because that wouldn't look very good to the staff and team at Liverpool.

I started to iron my clothes out for today and made myself some avocado toast for breakfast.

By the time that I had ironed my clothes and ate my breakfast. it was 9 o'clock. Everyone had gotten up to go to work or the local library as they had work to do. Before they left they wished their friend good luck.

The time had come for me to make my way to the Training Ground so i got in my car and began to make the short ish journey to the training ground.

After what felt like forever i finally pulled up to the front gates. Someone spoke through some sort of technology. "Hello how can I help you?" I looked at my clock in her car which read 9.50 am and took a long awaited deep breath and spoke "Hello I'm Maia Jasmine Steel I'm here for my induction. I go to Liverpool University. The email I received said I've got to be here for 10". The voice spoke again "That's fine, we have you down for your induction at 10 o'clock. When you go to park up you should see a reserved place park in there" i smiled this was actually happening "Thank you" and just like that the big gates opened and I restarted my car to drive through.

The car park was big and had fancy cars in, presumably the players and staff's. My reserved place was in the middle of the car park, next to a black Range Rover i pulled up and reversed into place.

I turned off her engine and took a minute to appreciate the view of the training Ground.

I opened the car door and grabbed my bag and began to make my way to the doors of the ground.
