"You gettin' thick, baybeh." August said.
I turned around to see him licking his lips. I playfully roll my eyes, pulling August's shirt that I was wearing down over my behind.
"Stop looking at me, creep."
It was 8 in the morning when August came to wake me and Christian up. He brung us to his hotel room so we could eat breakfast together.
We did our morning prayer and meditation and I couldn't lie and say I didn't have an weird feeling about today. I got an text from an unknown number telling me that my time was up. I showed August the text and it put him into protective mode.
We were going to escape the hotel today and go explore Barbados, but staying in seems like the much better option.
"You always disrespectin' me."
"Not always, honey. Just sometimes."
He eyed me before pulling me closer to him. I inhaled his cologne and felt myself relax in his arms.
"What's wrong, ugly?" He asked, making me pull away.
"First of all, I'm not ugly," I said, making him chuckle. "And nothing. I really wanna go out today, but I know we can't. It's boring being cooped up in here."
He sighed. "I know, baybeh. Look I'ca get some of ma' niggas ya pull up later and we'll go out."
"Okay. Thank you, Aug." I stood on my tippy toes and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Yeah, yeah. Can you call room service and have them bring up some mo food. I need whateva you had on yo plate. That shit was good."
"No wonder you getting a little swole out here. You're being fat and greedy."
He flexed his arms, making me giggle. "Man, in a minute you bout ta be lookin at The Rock Jr."
When he said I couldn't help but laugh. I covered my mouth, wheezing into my hand. I tried my best not to be too aloud and wake my baby up.
"Get away from me, Alsina." I laughed, pushing him away from me.
He smiled, grabbing my neck softly. "I love the way you smile, baybeh."
I blushed, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Is that right?"
He bit his bottom lip, smirking at me. "Yeah, that's right."
I laid my head on his chest, scratching at his neck lightly. "Why are you doing this?"
"Doin what?"
"Making me feel so good and making me feel so so happy." I smiled up at him.
"So so happy?" He chuckled, wrapping his long arms around my waist.
"Yes."
"That's ma job. You ma lady and I gotta make sho you feel good. If you was lookin sad and shit, I wouldn't be doin ma job. When I met you, I told you I was gone make sho you was good. And ima stick ta ma promise. Ya heard me?"
"Yes, I hear you."
I decided to break the rules just a little bit and give him a small kiss on the lips.
Once I pulled away, I watched him as he stared at me.
"I love you, lady." He mumbled, caressing my waistline.
I smiled, "I love you too."
He just smirked before letting me go. "I need you ta be one hunnid perfect ready tanight. I got something planned fa us."
"Can I get a hint?"
"Yeah. The hint is be ready fa tanight."
I threw my head back and begin to whine. "August," I dragged, holding onto his arm. "Puh-lease."

He picked me up bridal style, carrying me to my bed. "Stop actin like a baybeh."
"I'm not." I said pouting.
"Look, I gotta get some thangs ready at the lil surprise fa you. I need you to call me if anything happens, I'm not gone be too far, ya heard?"
I nodded. "Yes, love."
"Aight." He playfully threw me on the bed.
"I'm going to kill you." I joked as my back hit the bed.
"Yeah yeah," He waved me off, before pulling up his pants. "Love you, I'll be back."
"Love you too." I waved at him before he exited the room. Once I heard the door close, I sat up and left my room. I entered Christian's room and saw him stretching in his sleep.
I pushed his curls out of his face and kissed his cheek. I just felt the need to get closer to my baby, so I did.
I laid next to him, caressing his hair. "My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish." I stopped singing once I realized I was crying.
This was one of the songs my parents sung to me. Growing up, I thought they wrote that song specifically for me. Whenever times got hard for me, I would go to my mother and ask her to sing this one particular part in the song. Then my father would rush in and hug me, singing the song so loud in my ear.
"Dad," I dragged, laughin.
"Kevin, lower ya voice." My mother scolds.
"Y'all jealous I'ca sang betta than both of y'all." He shrugged, throwin his arm across my shoulders.
"Nahhh. Every time you sing, it sound like a dying cat." I said watchin ma father face go from happy ta shocked.
"Jeanie," he grabbed his chest whea his heart is and dramatically fell ta the floor. "Ma heart, ma soul. I thought you was ma baybeh."
I laughed, huggin ma dad. "Stop it, daddy. I am your baybeh and you ma Big Poppa."
"Dats right, Sarah! I'm ya Big Poppa and you ma lil baybeh!" He stood up with me in his arms, throwing me inta the air.
I sighed, kissing Christian's forehead. "I love you, Christian. I promise I'll never leave you. You can always count on me to be there for you for everything. As your mommy, I promise I'll always have your back. I love you so much."
And with that I was sleep.
"It's so beautiful, daddy." Angel said, staring outside of the window.
"It's okay." I shrugged.
"You're at Barbados, honey. You cannot be on crazy stalker mode all the time while we're here."
I clenched my jaw, trying my best not to say anything. The whole point of this fucking trip was to go crazy "stalker" mode. I wanted Sarah and if that means flying all the way to Barbados and going into a fucking stalker mode, that's what I will gladly fucking do!
"Shut up." I said and she quickly shut her mouth.
But minutes later, she opened it up again.
"Where are we going?"
"Crane Beach. That's where August and Sarah are staying. Plus, that's where my connection just so happen to be at. They do any and everything I say." I smirked.

"What's so special about Sarah? You've been stuck in her since she spilt coffee on you 5-6 years ago." She crossed her arms, pouting at me.
I know Angel isn't a jealous type, but I didn't know what her obsession was about my obsession with Sarah. She wasn't going to get Sarah by herself.
"I could've sworn I told you to shut the fuck yo minutes ago. Do as I fucking say or I'll leave you in the middle of the fucking road with a bullet wound in between your fucking eyes. Understood?" I snapped, grabbing her by her hair.
This was the first time in a while I seen a hint of fear in her eyes and it pleased me.
"Y-yes." She stuttered, looking away from her.
I let go of her hair, pushing her away from me. I look away from her to see a car next to me watching us in complete shock.
I swerved into their lane, causing them to swerve over to other cars, almost creating a huge car pile up. I rolled my window down, signaling then to do the same, which they complied.
"Keep watching me and I'll drag y'all ugly ass baby right out of that old, dirty ass car." I smiled, waving at the baby, who smiled and waved back.
They quickly sped off.
"Stop being mean."
I swear this dumb ass bitch don't listen. I grabbed her head, banging it on the window, knocking her out.
I looked up from her slumped body and noticed her big ass head cracked the window.
I soon drove to the entrance of the hotel Sarah was staying at and soon as I park the car, I seen August slipping something into his pocket.
He looked to happy for my liking.
You could just kill him right now and have Sarah all to yourself.
"Nope. Too many witnesses." I watched intensively as he exited the my vision.
I quickly grabbed Angel before he came back and walked to the lobby. I carried her bridal style to the desk and smiled at the lady.
"Hello, I'm Peter Jones and I need a room for two. My wife here got a little too crazy with the champagne." I chuckled, handing over my id.
She waved me off, laughing. "I get it, trust me. And yes, you called for a reserved room next to your client August Alsina. Can I say that his album was gold. I loved every song on it." She said typing my name down on the computer.
She opened her drawer, handing me the room key and my id.
"Have you bless day at the Crane Beach."
"Thank you, love." I smirked, winking at her.
She blushed, fanning herself.
Once I got to our room, I rushed in because in a distance I could see August coming. Once I got inside, I pushed the door close with Angel's head.
I sighed, thanking myself that I didn't blow my fucking cover.
I walked around the room for a little before realizing I still had Angel in my arms. I dropped her on the floor.
"Dumb bitch." I kicked her to the side, sitting down at a chair.
"Sarah, table 5 is waiting on you."
"Jade, I'm tryin, can you take the table?" I looked up to the voice that sounded so desperate for help.
"Take the damn table or you're fired." The lady snapped, making this Sarah chick drop her head.
She walked over to the table I was at, pulling a pen and pad out of her apron. "Hi, my name is Sarah and I'll be your server today. Can I start you guys off with a drink?" She asked, handing us some menus.
"Water." My business partner Brent said, never making contact with her.
"May I have a water too?" Angel asked.
She nodded, looking in my direction.
I cleared my throat and stopped staring at her. "Coffee, please."
"I'a be back with ch'all dranks." She said walking away from the table.
"Ooh, thank God we have money because she looked horrible." My friend Angle said, pulling out her little fan, fanning herself.
"Ang, she looks like a child, why are you talking about her?" Brent asked.
"Child or not. Where's her parents. I'd never have my kids working at this shithole." She said placing her designer hand bag on the table.
"Angel!" I snapped, making her look at me. "Did you forget who you were before you met me? You worked at a ten dollar shoe store before working for me. Stop trying to downplay someone's grind."
She rolled her eyes. "Okay, but I have lots of money now."
"I have two waters and one coffee." She sat the drinks on the table. She passed Brent and I ours, but as she was giving Angel her drink, she mistakenly spilt my drink all over me.
I stood up, wiping my pants of the water.
"I'm so sawry." She overs her mouth, wiping my pants off. "I swear I ain' mean it. Please, I'm so sawry." She begin to cry making grab her hand.
"I'm fine. I just need a restroom, please."
She hiccupped, pointing to the direction. "I'm sawry." She whispered.
"You're fine." I left her by herself as I go to the restroom.
You gotta have her, Peter. My inner thoughts said, making me nod.
"Have? Nah I need her." I quickly wiped off the coffee stains that I could remove.
As I left the restroom, the girl was behind the counter, trying to ring up a difficult customer.
"Ma'am, how is my total 59.98? All I had was shrimp stir fry and a corned beef sandwich." She said and I could tell the girl was on the verge of breaking down.
"Aye! Calm down when you talking to her. Learn how to stop eating so much and you wouldn't have to pay 60 dollars for some food."
The lady turned around to look at me and she shook her head, handing the 60 dollars over to Sarah.
"T-two pennies is your change. Have a blessed day."
As the lady left, I held my hand out to her. She looked at my hand before shaking it. "I'm Peter. Peter Jones."
"I'm Sarah."
"May I get my coffee, please?"
She nodded. She slid a mug my way and pour some coffee in it.
"SARAH! Table 10 is ready for food."
She jumped hard, pouring the coffee on me again.
She gasped, about to cry again. "I-I–"
"It's fine. You didn't do it on purpose."
"I know b-but this is my second t-time spilling coffee on you, and–"
"SARAH! TABLE 10, take them their fucking food or call it a damn day and get the fuck out!" She yelled.
"Excuse me, you see me talking to her, please do you job and allow us to talk."
"Who are you?"
Just as I was about to answer, the news basically did the talking for me.
"Peter Jones, owner of J and R productions began to talk about his new plans for the company and new artist. Winners of How Much Talent Do You Have."
I smirk as I seen my face on the screen.
Damn, I'm a handsome ass guy.
"My plans for the J and R productions are simple. More music and less drama. Last year was a hard year for my family and it made the company truly hard to manage, but this year, I plan to eliminate the barriers and allow more young new artist onboard. We have 16 year old Amanda Wilson with her new single Thinking About Love and 19 year old Lil Queese working on his new upcoming album."
"Are you excited for the new plans?" The interviewer asked, making me smile.
"Ah, yes. Very excited. I know the plans I have for my company and I'm ready for it."
"Wow," Sarah said.
"That's you?" I'm guessing Sarah's bods asked.
"Yes and I did request some time with Sarah, now please comply and give us some privacy."
She nodded, quickly serving table 10.
I stared at her, grabbing her hand. She flinched, pulling her hand away. I grabbed it again, making her stare at me.
"Are you okay, beautiful?" I asked.
She nodded, "I'm fine, Mr. Jones."
"I have a job position for an assistant and I wanted to know if you'll be available for it?"
"I-I don't know. I don't have a car or a house right na."
Her saying that made me want to love her more.
"The annual salary for working for me is well over 34 thousand."
Her eyes widened, "Wow, that's a lot of money. Can I think about the position befo just signin ova ma rights ta you?"
"Of course." I handed her my card. "Just call me when you have an answer. I promise to answer for you." I kissed her hand.
