《I Do. (August Alsina)》I Do, 23

I sighed, reading all of the text messages I had received from Peter. Yesterday was really an eye opener for me. I have to get away from Peter. Which means, I have to find a different apartment building to live at, change my number, and find a different job. August thought it would be better if I didn't work for Peter anymore. At first I wasn't to fond of that idea, because I obviously need a job so I can be able to take care of Christian and myself. But after talking to August more, the idea was starting to make sense. I didn't want to be uncomfortable or scared at work.
"Who textin yo phone? Shit been goin off since I picked y'all up?" August asked.
"Peter. He's on his way to my place, I guess." I shrugged, walking away from August to go check on Christian.
Once I seen that he was okay, I walked back into August's room.
"Walk away from me again and it's gon be a problem." August said, pulling me to him.
I smirk, pushing him away from me. "You don't want these problems."
His right eyebrow rose and he began square up with me. "What's good then? You been talkin slick since I met yo big headed ass."
I laughed, covering my mouth. "I'd rather have a big head then a super strong chin."
He laughed, clapping his hands. "Aight, aight, you got that one. Don't say that shit no more."
I smiled , hugging him. "I'm sorry, August.
"Gon' chile. You hurt ma' feelins." He said, pouting.
I stare at his lips wanting to kiss him, but I didn't want to cross certain boundaries.
"Why you starin at a nigga?" He smirked, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Because I really want to kiss you, b-but I'm scared." I mumbled, letting my head drop.
"Why?"
"Because I don't want Peter to find out and hit me again. He always finds a way to just pop up." I said.
I felt August's finger under my chin as he lifts my head back up. "He not gon' touch you baybeh, I gotchu."
He leaned down to my level and placed his soft lips on mine. I smile into the kiss, wrapping my arms tighter around his neck. Kissing August is a dream come true. I knew right here, right now, I was in love with August Alsina.

I pulled away, staring up at him. His eyes were locked on mine, clenching his jaw. I love him a lot already and I have no idea if he feels the same way. Should I tell him?
"August, I-I think I love you." I blurted out and immediately wanted to die from the look on his face.
"You think?" He asked.
"N-no, I know I love you." I said, looking away from him.
I've never felt this way before and honestly, I was nervous and scared.
He licked his lips and chuckled. "Stop actin so scary. I love you too ma."
I looked up at him with a small smile on my face. "You do?"
He smiled. "Yes, chile. Nah gon foe you make a nigga cry."
"Say it and I'll leave you alone." I smiled, wrapping my arms around him again.
"I love you Mrs. Alsina." He said.
"Ain't no ring, baybeh." I said.
"Not yet, gimme a year and ima pop that shit on yo finger with the quickness." He laughed.
I shake my head. "You're a clown."
I walked away from him, going into the kitchen. I grabbed my phone out my back pocket and looked at all the threats Peter sent.
My hand shook as I read the last message. Did he know where August lived? Did one of his friend trail us? I turn around to see August already behind me. I gasped, backing up.
"August." I said, holding my chest.
"What?" He asked.
"Does Peter know where you live?"
"Fuck no. Don't no nigga know where I lay ma' head. Why? He still blowin yo shit up?" He asked, clenching his jaw.
"N-no. I just wanted to know. I don't want him popping up trying to fight you." I kept my eyes down.
"Nigga gon get his ass beat tryna fight me. He betta realize who the fuck I am. I'm really on that shit unlike otha niggas." He said.
I sighed, leaning against him. "I'm tired August."
He picked me up and placed me on the counter. He grabbed my waist, kissing all over my neck.
I felt so comfortable with August, but not comfortable enough to have sex with him. I felt ugly under these clothes.

I moaned as he sucked on my neck. "August."
He placed his hands on the counter, leaning into me. I moaned again feeling all of him on me.
I smiled, leaning away from him. "Stoooop." I dragged, not really wanting him to stop.
He pouted, "Just let me put the tip in."
I laughed. "I think not, if I give you an inch, you gon take a mile. You not slick."
"Can I eat then?"
"Gon head. This is your house, not mine." I shrugged.
"I'on want no food."
"Then what are you going to eat?"
"You." He laughed, pulling me closer to him.
"August." I warned.
"Please. I'll leave you alone askin." He begged, causing me to laugh again.
"August Anthony Alsina Jr."
"Can I finger you then?"
"Bye Alsina." I hopped off the counter and went to his room. I laid down on his bed.
"Please, baybeh."
This man is silly.
"August you have an interview in 30 minutes, move." I laughed, pushing him away.
"I take ma' love back. I jus' wanted a kiss." He said.
"29 minutes."
"Man, aight. I'll be back in a hour." He said, giving me a kiss on the cheek.
I grabbed his face, kissing him softly. He kissed back, grabbing my behind. I laugh, pushing his away.
"27. Have fun at your interview." I said.
He smiled. "Aight. I'm gon."
A few seconds after August left out, Christian walked in smiling.
"August gave me a dollar. Can we go to the store?"
"Sure. Go get your stuff together." I said, putting my shoes on.
I grabbed my wallet and a set of August's keys he gave me and Christian and I walked out the house.
As we approached the nearest corner store, I notice a car riding slow on the side of us. I grabbed Christian's hand and rushed inside the store.
Grabbing his chips and juice, Christian walked to the register and paid for his things.
"Here's your change, young man." The cashier said handing Christian his change.
"Come on, Christian." I said grabbing his hand and we quickly walked out.
With the threats Peter was sending, I did not want to risk getting caught up with him.
We finally made it back to August's place, thank the Lord we didn't see Peter and thank the Lord the corner store wasn't that far.
I really need to work on buying myself a car.
Christian went to the living room, sitting down eating his chips while watching Teen Titans Go.
As I was about to sit down, the doorbell rang and my hands began to sweat. Was it Peter? He really does know where August lives. I begin to panic on the inside, not wanting to scare Christian.
I open the door to see a very beautiful white girl.
"Is August here?" She said, with a snarky attitude.
"Um, n-no. He's not here at the moment." I said.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"I'm just his friend." I answered, feeling Christian hug my leg.
She looks down and smirked nodding. "So he's here playing daddy to a child who's not his, but can't be a father to our daughter."
I shooed Christian away, interested in how the conversation was turning. "He didn't tell me he had a daughter."
She rolled her eyes, laughing. "Of course he didn't. Typical August. So how long has that bastard been fucking you?"
"We're not having sex. I told you he's just my friend." I snapped.
"He's just my friend. Fuck outta here. Do I look dumb?" I wanted to say yes, but that's mean, so I decided against it. "I know August Alsina, baby, and if he's not fucking you yet, he will be. Then he'll leave. He's a typical black man. Good for nothing right?"
"Goodbye Ms.?"
"Ms. Walter. Jessica Walter. Be a doll and let my punk ass husband know his wife stopped by." She said, making me mug her.
She pulled off and I frown, balling my fist up.
August had a child?
