"So, how old were you when you and Chris fucked?" August asked making me cringe.

"How old were you when you married Jessica?" I asked, causing August to chuckle lowly.

"Too damn young. Why you keep bringin' that bitch up anyway?"

"Because that's your wife. And if you're going to constantly bring up Chris and I, I'm going to bring up your wife." I shrugged.

"I'm only bringin' it up 'cause you keep ignorin' the question. Na' how old were you when you fucked Chris?" He laughed, glancing at me.

I stared back at him, rolling my eyes a little. "Too darn young. Now can you please stop bringing it up. No more questions about Chris and I."

"One mo' question and I'm done." He said.

"What?" I asked, ready to punch August in his stupid face.

He laughed, making me crack a small smile. "How it happen? Who came on ta' who?"

I roll my eyes, sighing. "I came on to Chris. I foolishly wanted to know what sex felt like since I didn't have the pleasure of giving mine away. Which, on my part was so stupid. I should've listened to Chris, but being so stupid, I said continue."

"He ain' wanna fuck or somethin'?"

"I mean, no, not really, but I kept pushing up against him and I kept constantly telling him I was okay with us having sex and he gave in." I explained.

August kept his eyes on road, not saying a word. I begin to feel like I should've keep my mouth shut. I mean, he kept asking questions and I didn't want to be rude and ignore his question.

Maybe I should've though.

We pulled up at the airport and I saw four little girls waiting with some dude who resembled August and a lady who resembled three of the four girls. August stepped out of the car and opened the door for me to get out. August waved over at them and the girls quickly noticed August and came running over to him.

He swatted down and opened his arms wide enough as they crashed into him. He laughed, tickling them.

I stepped to the side, smiling at the beautiful scene unfold before me. No wonder he's so kind and gentle with Christian. He has nieces.

Whoever these people are, must've been putting in work. Four kids? I can't even control one kid.

August stood up dabbing the man up before pulling him into a man hug.

"Wazzam Trav." August exclaimed with so much excitement in his voice.

"Come hea', Yung." They hugged a little while longer before pulling away.

"Come hea' Cha-Cha!" He hugged her and she laughed, hugging him back.

"How ya' been, Aug?" She said, pulling back from the hug.

"Good." August said.

I smiled watching how hard August was smiling at his family. He seemed really really happy around him. Maybe happier than he has been since I've met him.

"Come hea' y'all. I want y'all ta' meet somebody." August said. They begin to walk over to me and for some reason, I was getting nervous. I'm basically meeting his family. Oh, my god! I look at mess!

"Dis' ma' friend Sarah. Sarah, these ma' nieces Chay, Mya, KayKay, and Callie, dis' ma' brutha' Travis and ma' sis, Chandra." August introduced.

I smiled, waving at them. "Hi."

"You pretty. That's yo real hair?"

"KayKay, you can't ask people that. It's prolly fake. Is them freckles real? My friend sister got real freckles?"

"Uncle Aug, is this yo girlfriend?"

"Girls, one question at a time. Y'all gon' talk ha' ears off." Chandra said, smirking over at me.

"KayKay, Mya, and Chay, y'all talk too much." August joked, causing them to get louder.

"No we don't! You talk too much. Mama, don't he?" KayKay yelled, pulling on Chandra's shirt.

"Aug, paps comin'." He said and I look behind me to see about ten paparazzi coming over to us.

"Aye, let's hurry up and put dis shit inna' trunk." August said.

I reach down to grab one of the suitcases, but I was stopped by August. "Nah, not y'all. Go sit inna' with the girls. Trav and I got dis."

I nodded, "Okay."

August opened the door for us and we immediately got in. Soon as the door closed, there came the paparazzi, forcing their camera in August's face.

They begin to ask questions about who I was and who were the little kids in the car. I stare at them, feeling myself get irritated that they just invaded August's personal space.

"She a friend." August said and not going to lie, that little statement hurt my feelings, but I understand why he said it.

Once the last of the luggage entered the car, August and his brother got inside the car. He turned to look at me and I raised my eyebrow at him.

"What?" I asked.

"You good?"

I nodded, laying my head on the glass. "Yes, can we just hurry up, I have to get everything ready for Christian." I whispered.

He nodded, starting the car up and pulling out of the pulling out of the parking lot.

"So Aug, what have you been up to?" Travis asked and I begin to tune out their conversation.

"She a friend."

Hearing August say I'm just a friend was hurtful to me, because I know what we going on isn't just a friendship. I know he likes me, and he knows for a fact that I like him.

Sarah, for the love of God, you have to be just his friend. He's still legally married to little Betty Boop. Wait till they finally finalize that divorce then, if he continues to refer to you as just a friend, then you act all sensitive.

"Uncle Aug, where's Jessica?" KayKay asked, causing to side eye him.

He shook his head, "She at her house."

"Why she not hea'?"

"We broke up." August answered.

"Good," Chay said, folding her arms over her chest. "She ugly and she mean."

I laughed, shaking my head. These kids are so animated. Now, I'm curious to how she look. Is she really ugly? I don't think August would marry someone ugly.

"Chay, don't say that." Chandra said, shaking her head at her daughter.

"But, momma, she is." Chay said, laying her head on her mother's shoulder.

"What's wrong wit' y'all?" Travis laughed.

August turned on the radio and it was a throwback Beyonce song.

"Baby boy you stay on my mind

Fulfill my fantasies

I think about you all the time

I see you in my dreams

Baby boy not a day goes by

Without my fantasies

I think about you all the time

I see you in my dreams

Picture us dancin real close

In a dark dark corner of a basement party

Every time I close my eyes

It's like everyone left but you and me

In our own little world

The music is the sun

The dance floor becomes the sea

Feels like true paradise to me

Baby boy you stay on my mind

Fulfill my fantasies

I think about you all the time

I see you in my dreams

Baby boy not a day goes by

Without my fantasies

I think about you all the time

I see you in my dreams"

I looked out of the window, seeing that we were turning into my driveway.

"Bye, you guys and nice meeting you." I said politely, waving at them.

"Bye Sarah." They said and j gathered my things and got out the car.

As I went to unlock the front door, a hand lays itself in my lower back. I turn around, staring up at August.

"What's wrong wit' you?" He asked

"Nothing." I said, turning back around, unlocking the door and stepping in.

"Stop lyin'. Yo attitude has been shitty as fuck since them paps rolled upon us." He said.

"August, it's nothing, please leave."

"Tell me what's wrong."

"Anthony, can you not. I just told you there's nothing wrong with me. Drop it, please." I said and he pulled me closer to him.

"I can't wait till I give you some act right. Yo lil ass need it. Always talkin' crazy ta' me, callin' me Anthony and shit. That's how I know yo lil ass mad bout some shit." He said, pulling me into a hug.

I laughed, "Bye August."

"Gimme a kiss and I'll leave." He smirked.

I roll my eyes, leaning in to give him a small peck on his cheek. "Now, leave so I can get everything together."

"Aight, see ya' lata' baybeh." August said before walking out.
