"You look like trash today." I said taking a look at August.

"I swea', ya' always got some rude ta' say." He said, closing the door behind me.

"I don't. I'm just stating facts, Auggie."

"Come take care of ya' man while he sick." He said, laying down on the couch.

"You've been sick for a week now. All the home remedies and drug store medicines that worked for me aren't working for you, what the hospital say?" I asked, sitting next to him.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, laying his head on my chest. "They just said I'm sick."

I sighed, caressing his hand. "Just sick? I guess, August. Do you need any cough medicine? Tylenol? I think I have some in my purse."

"Nah, I just want some love, baybeh." He said, laying his head in my lap.

"You can be such a baby sometimes."

"I'm ya baybeh doe." He closed of eyes, smiling.

I blush, shaking my head. "My living headache is what you are."

He laughed, hugging my waist. "Whateva'."

I placed my hand in his wild curls, massaging his scalp. He opens his eyes staring at me. I looked away. "Stop looking at me August."

"Why? Ain' cha' ma' baybeh? I can't look at ma' baybeh?" He asked, licking his lips.

I blushed hard and stared back at him, feeling like now is the time to confront him on his fiancée. Something in me wants August go say it's a lie, but from what the blogs, Shade Rooms, and other media outlets say, Mr. August Anthony Alsina Jr. is engaged to Jessica Walters...

Was I ready to hear the truth? Nope, of course not. If it's the truth, then I'm going to stop acting like August is a single man. I wouldn't want to ruin a happy home. "August, do you mind if I ask you something."

"Damn, ya' just ignored the fuck outta ma' question, but gon' ask." He answered jokingly.

"Are you engaged?" I asked.

"Nah, why? Ya tryin' marry a nigga?" He smiled.

"Then who's Jessica Walters?" I asked and his face expression went from playful to angry in 0.01 seconds.

"Watch out," he lifted himself off my lap. "Who the fuck told you bout ha'? Huh?"

"I-I-I looked you up on the Internet and it said you and her are engaged. I didn't think it was something ba-"

"Nah man. Ya' know what, yeah, we engaged. And outta lust for that dumb bitch, I let dat bitch inta' ma' life thinkin' I was gone turn a hoe ta' a fuckin' housewife. Man, fuck dat' bitch. Why da' fuck ya' lookin' me up anyway? If ya' wanted ta' know bout me, ask."

I sit there speechless that he even raised his voice at me. "B-b-b–"

"B-b-b what? Ya' wasn't stuttering when you asked bout that dumb bitch." He cuts me off, still glaring at me.

I pout my lips, trying not to cry. My eyebrows furrowed and I couldn't help but drop my head. "S-sorry."

She said, droppin' ha' head.

My jaw clenched as I see a tear fall from ha' face.

When mentionin' that bitch, ma' anger rises. I really thought I was doin' some real shit by takin' ha' ass outta the club and inta' ma' house. Everybody told me ta' watching ma' back with ha', but I was blinded by ass, tits, and dumb ass pussy. She was doin' some foul shit behind ma' back. Takin' ma' money out ma' house ta' buy drugs fa' ha' lil ass boyfriend, sent me and ma' brothers ta' jail for some bullshittin' ass lies, and put ha' hands on ma' niece.

Afta' she put ha' hands on KayKay, it was ova' fa' ha' ass. I tried ta' sue, but courts don't believe shit I say because not only am I a black man with a past, but I'm a black man fightin' a case against a white woman.

"Man, stop cryin'." I said, wrappin' ma' arms around ha'.

"I-I can't. I didn't mean to upset you. Peter kept telling me you was engaged and I-I j-just wanted to know if it's t-true." She cried more.

I pulled ha' ta' me, rubbin' ha' back. "Sarah, stop cryin'. We good, look I ain' even mad no mo'. Look at me, ma."

She slowly raised ha' head, starin' at me. "I'm sorry, August."

"I am too. I didn't have ta' snap on ya. All ya' was doing was askin'. Come here." I pulled ha' closer ta' me, sittin' ha on ma' lap.

I wrapped ma' arms around ha' waist, rock in' us side ta' side. She slowly stopped cryin', which made me happy as hell. I hated when she cried and it makes it even worse because I was the one ta' make ha' cry.

"Ya' done?" I asked, learnin' back onna' couch as she wiped ha' tears.

She nodded, "Yes."

I looked at ha' face and smiled. "You forgive me, Rudolph?"

She slowly cracked a smile, noddin' ha' head. "Yes, I do. Do you forgive me?"

"I do. Gimme a kiss, baybeh."

She leaned inta' me, pressin' ha' soft lips on ma' cheek. "There. Can I get a kiss back?"

I laughed at how innocent she sound as I gave ha' a kiss on ha' forehead. "Dats enough of ma' love fa' taday. I gotta go head out ta' the studio ta' do these lil trailers fa' ma' album. Ya' comin' or you bout ta' go visit lil man?"

"I have to visit the courts about the dates first, then I have to visit my attorney to see if he got all the tapes and pictures I sent to him, then I'm going to visit Christian. If I don't make it today, I'm sorry. I'll try to make it tomorrow." She said.

"Nah, ya' good. I know how dis shit work. Lil man mo' important then me right na'. I ain' gon' hold it against ya." I said, pullin' ha' inta' a hug.

My arms rested on ha' lower back as ha' arms laid on ma' shoulders. She laid ha' head on ma' chest. I kissed ha' forehead as we begin ta' rock side ta' side.

It was lil moments like this whea' I felt mo' connected ta' ha'. These lil hugs and gestures make me fall harder and harder fa' ha'. Jus' being around ha' is a blessing.

"For some reason, I don't want to let go." She expressed, lookin' up at me.

"Looks like you the baybeh na'." I joked.

"Wow," she pushed me away. "Thanks for ruining what we had going on, ugly."

"Ugly? Baybeh, you kno I'm the most finest human bein' ya' eva' seen on dis hea' earth." I said, walkin' up on ha'.

She rolls ha' eyes, then starts smilin'. "Whatever. Do you mind if I take a quick thirty minute nap. I've been up since 5 o'clock getting things together with Peter."

"Gon' head. I'm bout ta' go–"

"WAIT! C-can you lay with me? Just until I fall asleep."

I smirked, lickin' ma' lips. "Aight."

I watched ha' take ha' heels, jacket, and otha' accessories off before she let me led the way ta' ma' bedroom.

"All black? Where's the white or any bright color?" She asked.

"I didn't want no bright colors. I wanted black." I said, gettin' under the covers with Sarah.

I wrapped ma' arms around ha' waist, pullin' ha' closer ta' me. She balled up against me, layin' ha' head on ma' chest.

"I really like being with you, August." She said,

"I really like bein' with you too, Sarah." I said as she looks up at me, starin' at ma' lips. "Come hea'."

I pulled ha' on top of me, as she stares at me with ha' beautiful. "Y-yes."

"Gimme a kiss." I said, rubbin' on ha' ass.

She bit ha' lip, staring at me like she was scared ta' kiss me. "You're engaged." She said, almost makin' me knock fire imta' ha' lil' ass.

"I'm single."

"That's not what the blogs say." She said, fold in' ha' arms around ha' chest.

"Fuck what them dumb ass blogs say. I'm single and I want a kiss from my future wife. Can I get that?" I smirked, rockin' ha' hips ova' me.

"Future?" She said softly as she begins ta' blush.

"You think ima let ya' slip from ma' fingers. Nah, I'm already in to deep, baybeh. Ima wife ya' beautiful."

She shook ha' head before leanin' down ta' give me a soft kiss.
