"Stop," I said, laughing.
"Gimme a kiss and I'a stop." August said, grabbing my waist.
He's been trying to get a kiss out of me for the longest now, but he's obviously not trying hard enough. Plus, he's suppose to be recording the last song called Job for his album This Thing Called Life. Has a nice ring to it doesn't it?
For weeks now, August has been working so hard on this album and there's no doubt that this album will be an amazing one. It speaks volume and real, current situation in this world. August has a gift and its extraordinary.
"Please, I'll get back ta' ma' work. I jus' want one kiss." He smiled, pulling me close to him.
"Just one," I smiled, giving him a small peck on his cheek.
He licked his lips, "Dats all I asked fa'."
"I cannot stand you, August Alsina." I laughed, pushing him away.
He grabbed me again, wrapping his arms around my neck. My smile widened as I looked up at him. August was literally a breath of fresh air. I would hope August is single, because whenever Peter comes back, I'm breaking this off with him. Though, I don't want to rush in a relationship with anyone, I still want to be available for the right one when the time is right. Hopefully, Peter can understand what's going through my mind and also want out. I deserve better and Peter is not better.
As you can already tell I'm taking a liking to August. I really like him. A lot.
"Whatcha thinkin' bout, big head?" I gasped, unwrapping my arms from around him.
"My head is not that big, cone head." I said, pushing him off me. "Go finish your job, Anthony."
He smiled, hugging on me again. "Baybeh, gimme anotha' kiss and I promise I'a get back ta' work."
"August, I already gave you one." I whined.
He wrapped his arms around my waist. "I know, but I miss ya. I ain' seen ya in like two days."

Even though I was suppose to be at work for the past two days, I couldn't. Christian wind up having allergic reaction to some food Parker brought over. Which is kind of stranger because I could have sworn I told her he was allergic to peanuts.
"I know. It's been a rough little two days for me and Christian. You know I would've been here for you." I said, kissing his cheek.
"It's coo'. Lil man needed ya and I wouldn't dare ta' step in between dat'. I don't know how ya' stayed calm doe. Let me find out ma' son don' had an allergic reaction and the lil babysitta' was behind dat' shit, I'a fuck ha' up with da' quickness." August said, caressing my side.
I sighed, "I don't want to assume things. Maybe I didn't tell her about his allergies."
"Knowin' ya, ya told da' lil bitch bout his allergies. You wouldn't fa'get some serious shit like dat. I say put some cameras in dat apartment. Dat shit that happened wasn't coo'. How da' fuck we made it ta' da' hospital befo' she did. Then when ya' call ha' she not panickin' and she takin' ha' time." August unwrapped his arms from around me and sat on the stool.
"August," I said softly. "I know your upset, but, he's fine now."
"I know, but he shouldn't have been thea' inna first place."
I grabbed his arm, pulling his off the couch. "Stop worrying. He's fine, August." I said, planting a small kiss on his cheek.
He sighed, rolling his eyes a little. "Aight."
I stood on my tippy toes, giving his forehead a kiss. "Now finish your verse. I talked to Peter and he say he talked to Jadakiss and Anthony Hamilton about their verses on the song and they'll be here tomorrow."
"Aight." He said, going into the booth. I step outside the booth to get Theo so he can control the sound board.
Afta' ma' verse fa' Job was recorded, we stayed thea', figurin' out which songs were going ' ta' be singles. I decided ta' make Hip Hop, Song Cry, and Why I Do It the singles. I also decided, with the help of Sarah ta' release a couple trailers fa' a few songs on the album.

Dis' should be a lil interesting. I ain' neva' did that befo' so this is somethin' new fa' me.
"August Anthony Alsina Jr. this song is amazing! It's so beautiful. I can't wait to hear the whole thing. I'm so proud of you!" Sarah said, givin' me a big hug.
"Thank you, baybeh." I kissed the side of ha' lips, causin' ha' ta' start blushin'.
She bit ha' bottom lip at me, those innocent eyes kept tellin' me she wanted ma' love. I wanna give ha' ma' love, but I got a lil baggage ta' me.
I ain' right inna' head right na'. She a damage woman lookin' fa' love within a relationship and like I said, I wanna give ha' ma' love, but I gotta end a relationship on ma' end.
"August, do you mind taking me home? If not, I can catch the bus. I have no problem with it." She pulled away from me, tuckin' ha' hair behind ha' ear.
"I ain' got no problem with it baybeh. Just let me know when ya' ready." I said and she nodded. She walked out the room ta' grab ha' things.
I grabbed ma' jacket and keys, headin' out the room. I sat down onna' nearby chair, waitin' fa' Sarah. Afta' a few minutes of waitin', I got up and followed the same direction she went in. As I walk in, I see ha' talkin' onna' phone.
"Parker, how?" She said.
I walked up and grabbed ha' arm lightly. "What happened?" I mouthed.
She moved the phone away from ha' ear, "Christian had to go to the emergency room today. He apparently reached for a pot of boiling hot water. I'm so sick of this."
I grabbed the phone outta ha' hand, "Aye, dis' Aug, what happened ta' lil man?"
I watched Sarah quickly grab all ha' stuff and we was out.
"I-I had to use the restroom and I told him to sit down and he didn't listen. He went into the kitchen and I had a pot of boiling water because I was about to make pasta for us and he grabbed it off the stovetop. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it. I really had to use the restroom and-" she began ta' cry, makin' me upset to the max.
"What I'm not understandin' is how do you know what happened if ya' was inna' restroom. Dats some bullshit. Dis woman is puttin' ha' trust in you ta' watch ha' kid and you fuckin' shit up. Ya' puttin' dat lil kid in harms way fa' fun? You ain't shit, Sarah trustin' ya' dumb ass ta' watch ha' child and when she come back from work, she expect ha' child ta' be left inna' condition he was in befo' she left. You foul as fuck, shawty." I said, handin' Sarah back ha' phone.
"Parker, we'll be there in a little bit." She hang up the phone and ha' legs began ta' shake. "August, I want to fight her. She's putting my kid in danger and she lying about it. I will snap her neck." She said calmly
"I know baybeh." I said.
Once I pulled up at the hospital, Sarah and I hopped out the car and jogged ta' the front entrance.
"Excuse me, what room is Christian Marshall in? I'm his mother." Sarah asked.
"He's in room 145. Right down this hall, take a left and his room is in the right side." The receptionist said.
We followed ha' directions and went ta' find his room.
"Ms. Sarah, I'm so sorry." Pecker said and I notice Sarah speed walkin' in ha' direction.
"Get up, I'm about to slap the hell out of you." Sarah said loud enough fa' Pickle ta' hear ha'.

The Forgotten Hero
Long ago, in the world of Thyne, the Alliance of the Free Races, a name they had given themselves, summoned a hundred humans from another dimension. Praised as heroes by the people, they rejoiced that they had been able to acquire pure, mana deficient humans that wanted to aid them in their time of need, ignoring the black, archaic slave collars around their necks or the depressed, almost hate-filled expressions that they received when interacting with them. After Ten years of bloody war, the dark races were pushed back deep into their territories. Both sides were near breaking point and desperate to end the war once and for all. In a bargain, the twelve surviving heroes launched a high-risk mission, utilising advanced tactics from their home world to kill the Demon Lord. In exchange, they would be sent home, along with the magically preserved corpses of their comrades, though in truth, they knew that even if they returned, they would never be the same. Legends say that, upon ambushing the Demon Lord in his castle, they finally understood the plight of the world, and in the last act of heroism, sacrificed their lives, sealing him in an eternal prison so his essence would not be able to create another. With the loss of the Demon Lord, and no chance for another to be born, the dark races quickly surrendered and the free races celebrated, honouring the noble sacrifice of the heroes before quickly forgetting about them as they returned to their everyday lives. However, legends are rarely truthful, embellished by the victors in order to earn praise as well as hide the less desirable aspects of their deeds. Trapped in the Demon Lord's throne room inside the Demonic Palace, which even taking a single step on its desecrated grounds is punished by death, two figures remain motionless. They had long run out of insults and threats to trade and now they waited. For what, not even the Gods knew.
