《The Songless Siren - A Kisame Hoshigaki Love Story》Chapter 3

"She's going to go with Kisame? Are you sure that's a good idea?"
Oruka nodded to his wife, his eyes briefly glancing towards the doorway leading to the lounge where Kisame, Koraru, Itachi and Zeri were currently situated.
"She needs to get out of that cave Yuri-chan, you know how I worry about her and you've told me yourself that she runs her chakra way too low on those damn experiments of hers."
Yuri released a long breath, regretting informing her husband of his sister's health.
"She won't stop until she finishes her recipe, you know that don't you? Even if she isn't in the cave the obsession is going to linger."
He nodded once more, his eyes softening at the deep set concern on Yuri's flawless features.
"I know but...at least she'll have Kisame's chakra. He has more than enough to sustain her. I'm afraid Yuri-chan, she's pressing herself harder and harder and all it takes is one slight miscalculation and she...she'll be gone. I trust Kisame and I know you do to. He won't let her come under any harm."
Yuri stared to Oruka for a moment, his large eyes half closed as he fidgeted with his fingers. It hurt him that he couldn't do anything to help his sister, and he worried every time they parted ways that it may be the last time he saw her alive. That was without him knowing everything; if he knew; if he ever found out that Yuri had already revived her twice, he would never be able to let her out of his sight again. Oruka sighed deeply, his hand raising slowly to rest onto Yuri's hardened abdomen and rubbing it affectionately.
"I want her to still be here when our baby is born. I want it to meet her, and learn from her the way Zeri does. I want my little sister to live again. I know she misses him, and I know she's always going to love him, but she can't throw away her life just because he lost his. Kisame is going to take her to the Akatsuki, and speak to their leader about her joining as a medic. Maybe...maybe she'll meet someone, maybe she'll be able to move forward instead of staying so far in the past."
He trailed off, his voice dwindling to naught but a whisper as his sentence finished. Yuri smiled to him sadly, resting her hand over his own.
"We'll have to make sure she's back soon then to visit. You know how Zeri adores her."
Oruka brightened immediately, his grin flashing brilliantly as he took his wife's hands in his own.
"So you think it'll be OK then? Kisame keeping his eye on her?"
She laughed lightly as she nodded.
"I do. Although are you sure he understands how chakra is transferred in large quantities?"
Orukas smile fell, his face paling as realisation dawned.
"She...she doesn't have to do that though! She can only take a little at a time!"
His eyes were wide and panicked as the thought continued to sink into his mind, scarring him likely for the rest of his life. As far as he was concerned, his baby sister was a nun. Pure as snow. He knew it wasn't true...but life in his fantasy allowed him to smile at Mangetsu instead of pummeling him, so that was where he stayed. Yuri chuckled once more, nodding to him as she began back towards the lounge, leaving Oruka shivering on spot.
Koraru grinned as she held her hands forward, mirroring Zeri's who sat on her lap, smiling back to her aunt. She morphed her fingers, the webbing growing slowly between them and the pink tint starting from the tips and working it's way up towards her palm. The young girl giggled, her own fingers shifting as she copied the woman's transformation. Her skin was a pale blue rather than pink, but her transformation was flawless.

"Very good Zeri-chan! Now the ears!"
The girl nodded vigorously, turning her head to the side as her ears morphed into multiple long thin tendrils, a glittering blue membrane forming in between them and hardening into a fin on each side. Koraru smiled proudly, turning her own head to the side. She willed her own transformation, however before the membrane could grow to merge everything together, she experienced a sharp pain in the area, wincing slightly before allowing it to change back to its humanoid state. Zeri titled her head in confusion, Koraru giving her a small smile.
"My apologies Zeri-chan, I don't have enough chakra right now."
Zeri nodded in acknowledgment, shaking her head and allowing her form to drop.
"Next time though huh?"
The woman nodded before picking the girl up and softly placing her onto the floor, where she immediately scuttled off towards the kitchen. Koraru smiled lovingly at the now empty doorway before standing, and glancing out the open window to the bright moon casting its light across the open sea. She turned her attention towards Kisame and Itachi, who had until that moment been rather intrigued watching the young girl transform on demand.
"Will we be leaving under the cover of night? Or daybreak?"
Kisame rubbed his chin in thought, normally he would have said they should leave right away, after all it had been a while since they checked in, however with the rapid progression of Itachi's ailment it may be best if they stayed and rested. He knew there was little point in asking the Uchiha if he could press on, because he would surely say that he could - even if he couldn't.
"How long will it take for Itachi to start feeling better?"
"Around an hour after he drinks the elixir. However do remember that he only has one."
Kisame nodded.
"Then we should make more before we go."
Yuri smiled to the three as she entered into the room, her eyes lingering on Koraru and her lack of scales for a moment.
"You're all very welcome to stay here tonight, you could all leave in the morning and I could help with your elixirs."
Koraru smiled and nodded before turning to the Akatsuki members.
"Is that alright with you?"
Both nodded, the movement causing the Uchiha to cough loudly into his hand which he then opened slowly, glaring harshly to the small blood spatter in his palm. Kisame sighed and shook his head as he glanced at it, Koraru frowning as she stood, dusting herself off slightly.
"Itachi-kun I would advise that you take your first dose now."
"Yeah otherwise you'll be dead before it has a chance to kick in!"
Oruka grinned to the Uchiha after coming back into the room, Itachi looking to him with great annoyance. Kisame chuckled and grinned, it took a special kind of annoying to get under the usually calm and composed mans skin, and it seemed Oruka fit the bill perfectly. The white haired male approached his old friend, gesturing towards the front door casually.
"Well, if Koraru and Yuri are going to be occupied with the elixir, then I need a few minutes of your time, Kisame-kun."
Kisame raised his eyebrow skeptically.
"...What for?"
"Trust me you want to know what I have to tell you."
He began walking away from the pair without knowing if Kisame was following, and calmly opened the front door, he stopped though as he reached the exit, smiling back brightly to Itachi.

"Itachi-kun keep an eye on my little Zeri-chan could you? She gets a little fussy when she's up this late. Good luck!"
Before the Uchiha had a chance to object, Oruka had disappeared through the doorway, Kisame laughing in his companion's face as he quickly followed after him. Itachis head snapped around him quickly as he came to realise the women had also left the room, and the small girl had already wandered back in, now standing a few feet infront of him and staring up at him brightly. She cocked her head slowly, Itachi giving her a soft smile, and his eyes calmed. He always did love kids.
"Are you Mizutenshi like me and mommy and auntie?"
Itachi cocked an eyebrow and shook his head as Zeri climbed onto the sofa beside him.
"No I'm just a regular ninja."
Her face reddened substantially as she giggled loudly.
"But your so pretty! I bet lots of people want you to be their wife!"
Itachi's smile fell, his lips pulling into a pout. Clearly, Zeri took after her father.
"I'm a man."
She fell silent, her bright eyes shimmering in thought as her head cocked once more.
"You sure?"
"Yes I'm sure!"
Kisame closed the door over behind him as his silver eyes scanned the surrounding area. Although darkness had fallen the moon illuminated the land brilliantly, and with them being so far away from any towns or villages, there was little to no light pollution, the darkened sky a deep midnight in hue; silver stars glittering brightly. He sighed contently and took a deep breath, taking in the fresh sea air. He loved coming out here, especially at night...His orbs landed on Oruka who sat at the edge of the pier, his feet dangling into the brisk waters. Kisame took a seat beside him silently, glancing into the sea to see his feet were now a fin, an orca shaped tail formed from his knees down. He watched the man for a few moments as he gently churned the water with it, there wasn't many times in the past he had seen him transform after all.
"Kisame-kun; I know I dont even have to ask; but it'll give me peace of mind. You wont let anything happen to her right? She isnt up to much in combat without her song and I don't know what I would do if-"
Kisame chuckled; cutting Orukas sentence short.
"You needn't think for a second I'll let anything happen to her. I'll keep her safe."
Oruka lulled his head to face his friend, giving him a bright grin in return for his soothing words; before holding his hand forward, presenting Kisame with the tennis sized red ball in the centre. He raised an eyebrow at it before taking it slowly, squeezing it as he realised what it was. A stress ball.
"Uh..."
Oruka smirked to him.
"You're going to need that."
Kisame stared to the ball for a moment. He had known Koraru for a long time, she wasn't that high maintenance that he would require a stress ball having her around. Oruka strained his neck to the side, tapping to a round scar which he had adorned for as long as Kisame cared to remember.
"You know what this is right?"
Kisame's eyes brow arched.
"A scar."
Oruka shook his head no, running his fingertips over the marking slowly.
"It's where Yuri sucks on me."
Kisame smirked deviously to his friend.
"What you and your ridiculously hot wife get up to behind closed doors isn't really my business, but do feel free to continue."
Oruka laughed gently as his response, his eyes glimmering with mischief.
"Wouldn't you like to know. Anyway, what I'm telling you is it's the spot she absorbs chakra from. So get a good look, because you're about have one."
He nodded to him slowly before taking the stress ball between his index finger and thumb, holding it up towards him.
"And I'm supposed to use this to hit her on the head when I've had enough? Seriously, why do I need this?"
Oruka ran his tongue over his lips before pursuing them tightly, his fingers grasping tightly onto the edge of the wood below him as he took a deep breath. Oh how he didnt want to have to explain this.
"It's uh....well it's pretty intense, having a siren feed off of you. Squeeze that thing to keep yourself in control, it really helped me out, especially the first couple of times."
"Intense?"
Oruka's hands covered his face and he rubbed it slowly, groaning loudly. It wasnt that he disliked discussing this kind of thing, heck he and Kisame had many conversations over the years that could make an adult film star blush, but this time it involved his little sister. His insides were squirming and churning, begging him to stop, but he knew Kisame had to be warned.
"You'll want to..you know...like really...really...REALLY bad. It feels so goods when they do it. I mean the first Yuri fed off of me I...well nevermind what I done. Point is, you need to make sure you stay in control of yourself."
He wasn't getting out of that sentence that easily, Kisame's interest had been peaked; and that was that. He could never imagine Oruka doing anything to hurt Yuri, so just what had he done?
"What did you do?"
The white parts of Oruka's face darkened into a deep red and he cleared his throat, giving a nervous laugh.
"N-nothing really!"
Kisame looked to him skeptically and grinned.
"Well if you won't tell me I'll ask Yuri."
Oruka's hand shot up, taking a tight grasp onto his friend's arm as he stood, fear and panic evident in his now widened eyes.
"No dont! Oh for the love of it dont!"
Kisame's grin grew, his eyes shimmering.
"Then what happened?"
Oruka stared to him for a few moments before changing his legs back into feet and standing slowly, he wanted to be able to make a hasty escape after he let this one go. He took a deep breath whimpering to himself in self pity.
"I...I achieved the height of physical pleasure..."
Kisame blinked, his lips pursing tightly as amusement took over. Oh that was rich.
"You came? Just like that? From her sucking on your neck?"
He laughed loudly, Oruka's eyes closing tightly in annoyance.
"Will you stop laughing I was only 15! It was the most embarrassing moment of my life!"
"I had no idea you were such a loser! And she still married you!"
Oruka huffed in childish annoyance.
"Pfft! At least I got a girl!"
Kisame's smile fell, Oruka immediately wishing he could take his words back. He knew trouble with women was a sore spot for Kisame. Being of the Genzai he knew how hard it could be, the way women were...a little put off by their appearance. Although Kisame's heritage was greatly diluted, that there was Genzai blood within him from his mother's side had been undeniable, his father was a normal shinobi. How he had looked to his blue skinned son with such disgust...and then the first time he had laid eyes on a girl he liked, the first time a pale lilac blush has spread across his cheeks, the first time his heart had raced like that; she had run screaming from him, from the monster. Mizutenshi were much more accepting of the trait, but they were blessed with such beauty that they had men tripping over them their whole lives, and so had their pick of the bunch. Oruka had Yuri thanks to their strong bond when they were young, and Koraru and Mangetsu...he had trailed after her for months persistently, going as far as to beat down any other guy who had dared to speak with her...eventually she gave in, and went out with him once. From then on out, she would never leave his side. Kisame though...he hadn't been so lucky...
"Sorry Kisame-kun I shouldn't ha-"
Kisame frowned at him, beginning back toward the home quickly. He was lucky the pair were so close, his fingers twitching in instinct to take hold of the Samehada.
"Whatever."
Oruka exhaled loudly, his eye clouding sadly as he followed after his companion. He really shouldn't have said that...

8 157Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.

Jonathan Orville has had a thoroughly enviable life, completely devoid of pain or suffering. Though his life is tragically cut short due to a sharp rock, he would never regret his perfectly positive life where nothing bad ever happened to him, ever.Even though he doesn't regret it at all, he still finds himself summoned to the netherworld for a new adventure as livestock for a needlessly attractive demoness who is totally probably in love with him. This is a story about using the power of positive thinking to overcome adversity. Demonic forest fires, consumption of souls, rivers of blood and rampant carnage; none of these can get in the way of a dedicated effort to think positively.Newest chapters at: https://manatankmagus.wordpress.com/This location is likely to stay a bit behind. I am very lazy. :DDISCLAIMER: My primary purpose here is Comedy rather than badass skills and righteous adventures (although there's some of that too). The main character can be a little bumbling at times and has a much higher opinion of himself than justified. If you really dislike that kind of thing, this is probably not for you.
