Say, Ayanokoji.
I've never narrated the story myself, have I?
Back then, it was all mostly about you...
To find your dreams, to find your emotions...
But then....

All along...
You were thinking about me,
Right?
I know it...
You always thought about us.
Even now... during this escape...
You won't let me die.
.
"Ayanokoji, do you still want to see?"
"See?"
"The sun, subsequent the moon's descent.
The sun, Ayanokoji. That lights up the world of darkness, that light up night into day.
Do you want to see? The beauty of such scenery?
Do you still want to see? The sun, together with me?"
He widens his eyes.
His eyes widens before me.
His eyes: glimmer in curiosity.
To see is to also feel.
And to feel what is never felt is to experience.
And to experience...
"Learn? Like school?"
"Yes, Ayanokoji...
The place we will be heading to...
To learn... is just like school."
Whether it be in a few months, or years.
We will, together,
Together, we will,
We, together, will,
We will enter a school,

'The dot of the moon, engraved onto the night's sky,
Behind it, the dots of droplets of white,
The night of doomsday may very well be nigh,
But infinity halts to observe such sight,
This is milky, milky, milky way.
This is our wide wide wide galaxy.
This is milky milky milky way.
This is our wide wide wide galaxy.
Now stop and watch to see with your eyes
The face of reality in which beauty lies.

No matter what is seen, it's beauty that shines.
This is milky, milky, milky way.

"That song..."
Hm?
"You heard me?"
"Yes, vibrations of my eardrums.
"Ah,
I see."
"That song, I remember.
It's in the book.
Wide Galaxy."
"You remember?"
"Yes I-"
"You?"
"I have memories.
Memories of such.
In which engraved onto my mind,
Fascinates me of our galaxy."
"Beauty? Is it its beauty that fascinates you? Or its mere existence?"
"Beauty? Just what is beauty, Nine?
Is it you? Or this world? Or is it The White Room, and its people?
Just what is the meaning of the word that defines,
The nature.
Nature of everything.
Nature of reality.
The nature of our galaxy."
Widened hearts, broadened mind.
A captive heart presently, no less, but one among those that will be free.
The heart that shall
learn
Feel
Experience.
And it shall learn all those,
"Ayanokoji...
Look up!"
"Up there, is beauty!
It doesn't define, or express nature.
It is nature!"
"Huh?"
"What is it?
Confused?
Does your heart simply not follow?
Or does its prolonged captivity prevent it from adjusting,
Adjusting to beauty?
Adjusting to nature?"
"Perhaps so.
Life.
It bewilds me so.
We live and die,
For what purpose do we await for death.
But the purpose slowly unfolds...
.
Love,
Beauty,
School.
Purpose of living, for you, it's those
But,
I want more than that.
I want..."
"What do you want, Ayanokoji?"
"I want..."
"What do you want, Ayanokoji?"
"I want..."
"What do you want, Ayanokoji?"

Ursus Ex Machina
Ozzy was a man of the wild. Raised in a remote village atop the world's mightiest mountain, he'd been taught to respect and revere the natural world. The realm he was born into had been there long before him, and it would remain there long after him. Sure, there was the occasional madman who threatened to destroy it, but such boasts were always empty. No one individual was actually capable of demolishing this beautiful blue-and-green ball Ozzy called home. No matter what terrible magics these villains wielded, they were incapable of causing permanent harm to the environment. Even if the planet was completely devastated, it would recover. Life would find a way to flourish, same as it always had. That was what Ozzy believed from the bottom of his heart, so he never once felt the need to save the world he loved. After all, it was never truly in danger. The world would be fine no matter what. The people were a wee bit endangered, but that was another story altogether. However, what would happen if Ozzy suddenly found himself devoid of his beloved wilds? What would the man do if the realm he knew - one of wonder, magic, and chaos - was replaced with a man-made environment of concrete, industry, and steam? Ozzy could never imagine such a thing happening, and yet that was his new reality. After losing a fateful confrontation with a mad wizard, he and his friends found themselves transported to a strange world so thoroughly alien that every waking moment feels like a fever dream. Separated and scattered to the four corners of this land, each of these adventurers will need to adapt, survive, and overcome if they hope to reunite. They would also need to do so quickly. The sooner they are able to find one another, the sooner they can figure out a way back home and have another crack at putting an end to the villain's plans. Whether such a thing was actually possible in a world with barely any magic in it was a valid concern, but Ozzy had more immediate things to worry about. For instance, why did the air smell like a perpetual forest fire? How did ships sail through the sky as if it were water? And most importantly, was the pavement he was hurtling towards at high speed much softer than it looked? Probably not, but a man could hope.
