Everything falls apart for Elise Hwang on what is supposed to have been the happiest day of her life. Abandoned at the altar, the helpless bride finds herself running back to the the attic in her home, where she can find comfort in the solitude and mend her own broken heart. Here in the safe confines of the attic, home to an array of antiques and abandoned wares from owners that have come and gone, Elise chances upon an aged manuscript for a long forgotten concerto, and series of letters written by the composer to the girl he loved.

As she uncovers his heartbreaking story, she begins to find that her own destiny is intertwined unexplainably and irrevocably with the man behind the haunting melody.
