《Kisame's Sister: Hoshigaki Kasumi》Chapter 11

"What?!" Everyone, who are in the room, asked at the same time with widened, confused by what she just said. No one would expect her to say something like this.
Why would someone, who nearly defeated Uchiha Itachi, the young Uchiha prodigy, ask the leader of the village to give her the lowest rank, after the Academy student, what a Ninja could ever get.
"And why would you want this? A kid who has higher skills than most Jonin in the village asking for the lowest Rank of a Ninja, it's hard to belive if you ask me." Kasumi glared at him.
"And who asked you?" She questioned.
"Calm down. I'm just trying to say that you could be a ANBU member if you would be old enough. You have to be at least 13 years old to join, and you just turned 12." Kakashi explained.
Kasumi stood there, just looking at the ground for a while, ignoring the fact that everyone's eyes are on her, before she finally spoke up.
"If you want to know this much, I'll tell you..." She started, her gaze is still on the ground. "If you paid attention to what I said, you should know I've never done any missions below B-Rank." She continued, now looking up to see their reaction. They all nodded, signaling her to go on.
"I have never done any C or D-Ranks. The other missions I've received were all solo missions as well. Thanks to that, I have never worked with anyone, and I would not be able to work with other people..." She trailed down at the end but continued nevertheless. She also left out the part her brother was the only one she ever did missions with.
She looked up at the Hokage. "If you would sent me onto a mission as a team leader or even just as a member of it, as I am now, the mission surely would be a failure."

After she said that, silence took over everyone. A extremely strong Kunoichi admitted the fact that she's lacking in teamwork.
Finally, the Hokage decided to break the silence. "Very well. Then I will place you into Kakashi's team. You've already meet them and you could help Kakashi train them as well."
--------------------------------------
After that she talked to the Hokage in private about what she wanted to tell him, even if he wouldn't let her stay in his village.
About the Akatsuki. About Uchiha Itachi and Hoshigaki Kisame, to be more exact.
After that was done, the Hokage called a ANBU to show her new apartment. When she got there, she unpacked the few things she has and went to sleep for the rest of the day.

--------------------------------------
It's been a few weeks since I moved here and it's good here. The people are nice and it's really peaceful.
We have got D-Rank missions and they was great at the start, but after a while, it became boring.
I also have got my new hitai-ate. It looks like my old one, apart from the symbol, that I still wear on my left thigh.
I am now walking with Naruto and Sakura, and suddenly I sense someone following us... no they follow Naruto. 'It must be Konohamaru and his friends again.'
And I was right. He called Sakura ugly and when she got mad, he ran away.
My blond teammate ran after them, and when I got there I saw someone, with a black jumpsuit and purple face paint, holding him up by the collar.
"Kankuro! Stop it!" A blond girl, seemingly older than us, said but the boy didn't listen.
'They are from the Hidden Sand'
'I'm too tired for this today...' I sighed.
"I would listen to her, if I were you." I said while walking there, hands in my pockets.
"I wouldn't hurt the Hokage's grandson. Not when I'm the guest, so just put him down."

"And who the hell are you?" He asked.
"Oi, dude, calm down. Have you ever saw a Bingo Book?" I said while pulling out mine, opening it at the page I am on.
I tossed it to him and he catches it with his other hand. His eyes widened and as the girl went there to take a look, the same expression on her face after she did.
"What someone, like you doing in the Hidden Leaf?" He asked.
"Are you dumb? I have a hitai-ate with the Konoha symbol on it, right here." I said pointing to my forehead.
After that he still didn't let go of him, and suddenly a rock hit him.
"Finally, you're here, Sasuke. I got annoyed a little by them."
Sasuke started to mock them but I tensed when I sensed another presence.
'This Chakra... and this amount of blood lust.. don't tell me he's that kid.' I looked up and narrowed my eyes. 'Of course he is.'
"Kankuro, enough, you're a embrassament to our village."
"Oh.. G-gaara! They were the ones who challenged us-!" He started. 'What a bad liar..' I rolled my eyes.
"Shut up... or I'll kill you." He threatened. No... This wasn't just a threat. He meant it.
"I'm surprised to see you alive. With how many times your father tried to kill you, I must say your lucky." I said.
"What do you mean? No one could break through Gaara's ultimate defense! It's impossible. And how do you know him?"
"Every Jutsu has a weakness, it includes his defense. What if your opponent so fast that your sand can not react in time?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, this causing the three Sand Ninjas' eyes to widen slightly.
"And to answer your second question, the Kazekage hired me to kill him, of course." I said simply, as if it was some common knowledge. I mean, it was common for me.
They turned to leave when Sasuke spoke.
"Hey, you. Identify yourself." He asked.
"Me?" The blond girl asked, hoping he wanted to know who she is.
'Another one of his fan-girls. Great. I don't even know what people like in him that much.' I thought, still thinking about it before I snapped back to reality.
"No. The one with the gourd on his back." Sasuke said while he looked at the Hidden Sand Shinobi.
"Sabaku no Gaara, I'm also curious about you." Gaara replied.
"Name's Uchiha Sasuke."
After that was said, the three turned to leave again before Sakura asked a really stupid thing.
"Wait!" She shouted after them, stepping forward, so the Sand Nin stopped and turned around.
"You clearly aren't from this village. I never saw you and I recognize your forehead-protector, you are from the Hidden Sand, aren't you? I've heard that, the Land of Fire and the Land of Wind have a alliance, but you still can't just step into someone's other's village, unless you have permission." She said and I just looked at her dumbfounded.
"Were you living under a rock, that you don't know what's going on in your own village?" The blond girl asked.
I took a few step towards them so I am now beside Sakura. I put a hand on her shoulders.
"Sakura, they have permission to enter. They're here for the Chunin Exams." I said and she looked away, embarrassed for not knowing about it.
"Finally someone who actually knows something." The Sand Kunoichi said, causing me to roll my eyes.
After that, everyone went to their separate ways. Mine begin towards the Hokage's office and ask for a higher Ranked mission.
--------------------------------------
"Before you go I want to ask a favor from you." The Hokage said after he gave me a A-Rank mission.

Ortus
A woman wakes up in a forest, naked, alone, and injured. She has nothing but a strange, black dagger and mysterious, floating, blue boxes to aid her. Can she find food and water? Survive the deadly animals? Escape the forest? Learn about the life-altering magic the boxes provide her? She has to use her wits, her knowledge, and maths to do so. But first, baby steps. She doesn't even understand the language, yet. If you see any maths mistakes or strange story decisions, leave a comment and I will either fix it or consider changing it. This is also, essentially, a first draft. That means I will edit older chapters and nothing is final, including numbers. Any major changes are listed in the changelog below each chapter. Since this is a first draft, the start is noticably bad and inconsistent compared to the more recent chapters so you will have to endure that to get to the good stuff. Kingdom of Tyr (Original)
This fiction has been concluded as of the end of Book 1, the portion of the story posted here. There will be a complete rewrite as a separate fiction in the future to make the system more consistent and add more to the world while expanding on the events within this fiction. This rewrite will begin eventually, posted as a separate story. Colt, twelve, is walking home from school when he's approached by another boy dressed oddly, who asks him - theoretically - about living in another world. After asking some information about the theoretical other world, Colt says he'd probably prefer to live there, to get away from the problems he has on Earth. Once Colt confirms that, he finds himself in an abandoned city, the other boy revealing himself to be a god, who then offers to train Colt until he can stand on his own and live by himself. After a couple of months, the god sends Colt off for greater training, to learn to use both Aura and Mana, with his only instructions being to return every now and then to visit, and to make friends and have lots of fun. This story follows Colt, a boy named Tyler he meets in the new city, and their journey to growing stronger, having fun, and striving to beat each other. Note: this story is not intended to be professional-quality, and it does draw inspiration from many sources. That said, it is its own story, in its own world. It has never been and never will be edited. It will also have multiple PoV's, starting somewhere after Chapter 8.

Star Wars Episode 7: A Corpse Through Which the Force Speaks
The fall of the Empire heralds dark times for humanity. As the New Republic concedes much of the galaxy to alien rule, a group of special forces stormtroopers must find a way to survive the "new normal". This fanfiction sets an alternate course of events in response to general dissatisfaction with the sequel trilogy. In terms of continuity, this story only takes into account the events of the first six movies and Rogue One. Please note: This story comes from the school of thought that the purpose of art is to provoke thought, rather than distract us from reality. I hope that the disturbing parts of this story do just that! This story is COMPLETE.
