It's been 2 months since everything was revealed.
"Resentment" by Beyoncé played throughout the room.
Since I'm at a high risk pregnancy August insisted that I stay at the house.
We're now broken up. I sleep in the 2nd master bedroom we have downstairs.
We don't say much to each other. We make our own breakfast. He goes to work. I stay here and make sure everything stays in order. I may cook dinner from time to time. We still say I love you but other then that that's pretty much our conversation when he's not checking on the baby.
We haven't talked about the situation that went down when they found me.
I guess we've been avoiding it.
Who would want to hear an explanation on why their partner cheated and told the mistress that they love them.....
Exactly, nobody.
At this point all I'm worried about is making sure I deliver Brooklyn safely.
I'm at the studio working on this new song.
I ain't been able to really focus on my shit like I usually do.
I may have fucked up but I want my relationship back.
We both said stuff dat was uncalled fa but I was wrong fa telling ole girl I "loved" ha.
God knows I only got love fa my fam.
I get off in about a hour or so I was go plan a small date for me and Morg.
I pulled out my phone and called T.
"Wassup goon?" T said picking up.
"Still at da studio. My girls good?"
"Yea man. You know if they wasn't you'd be tha first to know."
"Preciate it. Anyways call up dat fancy ass restaurant by my place and set up a reservation for Alsina party of 2."
"Ight boss I'm on it."
"Thanks man."
"No prob young."
I texted Morgan to be ready by 7. It's 4 now by time I head outta here it'll be 5 so I'll still have time to get ready.
I don't like keeping her out too late cuz I know Brooklyn be having ha tired.
Of course Morgan just read my message.
It's been like that tho.
We barely even speak to each other. Tha only real conversations we have be about Brooklyn.
I was out shopping with Paris.
When I got a text.
I already knew it was most likely from Aug so I did what I usually do and open the message just to let him know I seen it.
The only time I really respond if it's for Brooklyn.
"Morgan!" Paris called my name aggressively.
"Oh my bad what?"
"Girl what the fuck is wrong with you? You better not be texting no other nigga or imma tell calendar you cheating."

"Can you stop calling my baby Calendar. He didn't name himself." I said laughing.
A man in the distance winked at Paris but she just ignored it.
"Mhmm imma tell Febreze you letting men wink at you." I said.
"I know good and damn well you didn't call my man no damn Febreze!" Paris said as we both busted out laughing.
Once we calmed down from laughing I showed her the message Aug had sent me.
"Are you gonna go?"
"Yea. I feel like we need to talk it out anyways. I'll be 8 months next week. It's time for us to be parents and make sure we're not bringing our baby girl into a toxic relationship."
"Yea I feel you. I'm proud of you and Autumn."
I just side eyed her.
Then her phone rang.
By the way she was smiling I knew it was Chris big headed ass.
"Alright sis I gotta head out. Me and Chris have to go a finalize everything for the baby shower next week."
"Ok that's fine. My feet were killing me anyways."
We walked back to our cars with our bodyguards.
"Bye sis. Tell rice crispy I said said hey."
"Leave my baby alone. But I'll tell him sis. Be safe." She said as we hugged.
"You too boo." I said getting in the car with the help of T.
I just sat back and gently rubbed my belly as I breathed in and out slowly.
Car sickness was another thing I was developing going into my 8th month.
"Are you ok Morg?" T asked concerned.
I just nodded my head yes because if I spoke I might've thrown up.
I laid my head back on the seat and closed my eyes.
"Aye man slow yo ass down while ya got my girls in tha car." August said with bass in his voice.
I opened my eyes to see T on FaceTime with August.
If anything ever happened T had August on speed dial.
Even if I told T I was fine he would still call August.
"My apologies boss." The driver said.
"August I'm fine. I'm just nauseous. You know this." I said grabbing the phone from T.
"I gotta make sure y'all good. Morgan how long have you been on your feet?"
"Just about a hour."
He sighed. "Morgan, baybeh girl, please go sit down fa me when ya get home. We already going out tonight I don't want ya catching them foot cramps all night ma."
"Ight I hear you Aug." I said giving T his phone back.
"Fasho. Thanks T fa calling me." August said.

"Yea. Thanks T." I said sarcastically as he hung up the phone.
"Sorry Ms.Morgan it's my job." T said as we pulled up to the house, getting out the car.
"I know I know. I just don't like feeling like I need to be watched like a child 24/7." I said walking inside the house as T let me go in first.
"Well it's only for roughly 2 more months. Then you'll be back to Ms. Independent." T said sitting my bags down.
"Thanks T."
"No problem kid. If you need me you already know I'm right down the hall."
"Yup."
"Alright enjoy your evening."
"You too." I said as he closed my bedroom door and left.
August and I created a space for T down the hall since he's here throughout the day until he goes home at night with his family.
August even installed a panic button on the side of my bed, by my vanity, in my restroom, and in my shower.
When I tell y'all this man is as extra as extra can be.
I decided to go ahead put on something simple for tonight.
I didn't really like dressing up too much anymore especially with me being tired easily.
I still had plenty of time so I sat down my bed and wrote out invitations for a small gathering 2 weeks from now.
I had already told August I didn't want a huge baby shower because we didn't necessarily need for people to give us baby things, which I am incredibly grateful for.
Of course they were still going to spoil Brooklyn with gifts so we just asked of them not to buy anything extravagant like a crib or a rocking chair.
Those were things I also had to discuss with August tonight.
"Morgan..." I heard someone call my name softly.
I opened my eyes to see August standing above me.
He helped me sit up slowly as I rubbed the sleepiness away from my eyes.
I hadn't realized that I'd fallen asleep.
"You still wanna go out ma? I can cancel-" Aug started to say before I cut him off.
"No no no. I still want to go out I just didn't know I fell asleep." I said getting up and going to the bath room.
Once I handled my business I quickly gargled some mouthwash and headed into the living room.
"You ready?" August said coming from the kitchen.
"Yea but can you help me put on my shoes?" I asked.
One thing I hated about being pregnant was I couldn't see my feet.
He immediately put his phone down to come and put my shoes on.
"Thank you."
"You know I don't mind helping you." He said before snapping a off guard.
"Augustttttt!" I whined.
"Ight baybeh let's go."
We got our stuff and headed to the car.

Once we got to the restaurant we were taken to a private room and placed our orders.
"So what is this whole dinner thing about?" I asked as our food was being placed on the table.
We quickly thanked our waiter and August turned his attention back to me.
"On a serious note ma, I wanna get us back togetha. A nigga been missing you ya heard me. I love you and I want our family to be one when Brook is born."
"Aug-"
"Let me finish.. I'm sorry fa what I said to ya. It was wrong of me ta say that to my Queen and tha mother of my child."
"I accept your apology. I'm sorry as well for not telling you my past. It just wasn't something I'm proud of. Knowing we're having a daughter she could possibly follow in my footsteps-"
"Morgan don't say no shit like dat." August quickly said cutting me off.
"I'm serious Aug. We won't be in control of her life forever. No it's not the path we would want her to go down but it's out there in the world. And we can't control that."
"I hear ya ma. I'm truly sorry fa cheating. I didn't love dat girl it was tha lust taking. But that don't excuse my wrongs. I just thought the worst without talking ta you first."
"It's ok August. I've been missing you too. And I'm sure Brooklyn has noticed as well. Since you don't tell her goodnight anymore it takes her longer to go to sleep at night."
August pulled his chair over to my side of the table and softly rubbed my belly.
"Daddy sorry baybeh girl." He said and kissed my stomach.
I shifted in my seat a little as she started kicking up a storm.
"Can you tell yo baby to chill. Ughh." I said.
As soon as August put his hand back on my stomach she stopped.
"See my baybeh don't even be doin nun. She chillin. Tell ya mama stop trying ta pin stuff on you Brook."
I just shook my head and slightly pushed his head away from me.
After dinner August payed the bill and we gathered our to-go boxes.
"You ready ma?"
"Yea babe." I said as helped me stand up.
"I love you baybeh."
"I love you too babe."
"Forever and Always?"
"Forever and Always."
