《August Alsina's Blessing In Disguise》August's Birthday Pt. 2

"I have an announcement to make as well.... " Rachel said standing up from her table with a gun pointed to me.....
From the corner of our eye everyone turned around to the sound of someone clapping.. Sasha.
Sasha came from around the corner smirking.
"I see we've all met my cousin Rachel." Sasha said cheerfully then going to stand beside Rachel.
Just as T and the other security guards were about to come up behind them Sasha turned with a gun pointed to T and the other guards as well.
"Stay the fuck back!" Sasha shouted waving the gun around.
Everyone slowly bagged back. I looked over and seen August's nieces lowly crying into their mother's arms scared for their life.
"August I loved you, and you chose Morgan over me?!" Sasha said crying and pointing the gun at me also.
I looked over at August, he didn't respond but just watched her every move then slowly grabbing my sweaty hand.
"ANSWER ME! HUH? WHY HER? I'VE BEEN NOTHING BUT GOOD TO YOU AUGUST!" Sasha continued crying hysterically. Sasha cocked her gun back looking dead at me.
I felt a tear roll down my cheek as I quickly buried my face in August's chest.
"Wait..." Rachel said to Sasha.
Everyone screamed and ducked as we saw Sasha's body fall to the ground.
We looked up to see Rachel pointing her gun at Sasha's lifeless body.
"Bitch I told you if I couldn't have August nobody could!" Rachel continued to talk to Sasha's body.
Rachel slowly raised her gun pointing it to me once again.
"Sasha knew I loved August first! I went to every concert, every meet and greet, knew every song, liked every picture on his social media, sent flowers to his dressing rooms.. and that still wasn't enough was it August?!" Rachel said looking at us while her right eye twitched.
"Once I get rid of everyone that's in our way, we can have our OWN family August and get married! Right August?! YOU LOVE ME.. RIGHT AUGUST?!" Rachel said smiling and coming a little closer.
Thinking back on what Rachel just said moments ago. She was tha fan that got kicked out of the meeting and greet at one of my shows a while back.

They said she was showing stalker and obsessive behavior. She had also wrote me 5 full page letters telling me how much she loved me and slid them under my dressing room door.
I just threw em away cuz a nigga never thought I'd see her crazy ass again.
I was still holding Morgan close to my chest as everyone else was ducked under tha tables in tha restaurant.
I mentally cursed myself out cause I left my gun in the car. I never liked having my glock on me when my nieces were around.
"AUGUST.. Baby just let me get rid of her and we can live happily ever after!" Rachel said cocking the gun back.
I heard the gun cock back and cried preparing myself for what was going to happen next.
"FREEZE WITH YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!!" We heard someone yell.
Everyone turned their attention to the front entrance of the restaurant to see 6 cops with their guns out pointing them at Rachel.
My body tensed up as I recognized one of the cops.
Derrick.
Derrick was my ex boyfriend from my Senior year of high school. He was abusive and cheated on me with the captain of the cheerleading team, Natalie Shaw.
I went over his house every Wednesday after school. I guess he forgot that day and I walked in on him and Natalie having sex in his room.
I was "punished" by him afterwards for interrupting his alone time.
After that day I finally had the courage to leave, even though he treated to kill me if I tried to leave him. I went off to college far away from home, changed my number, and blocked him from any social media account I had him on.
Derrick quickly recognized Morgan but had to focus on his job.
On the other side of the room Shayla slid over quietly but quickly and grabbed Sasha's gun from her dead hands.
"DON'T move or I'll shoot both of them! PUT YOUR GUNS DOWN!" Rachel screamed to the officers.
Derrick looked back at his team of officers slowly nodding his head signaling them to place their guns on the floor.

"Well look at the time this little party is coming to an end. I think I should do the honors...." Rachel said.
Morgan screamed seeing blood splatter on her and August's outfits....
Then as Rachel's body dropped to the floor everyone looked to see Shayla standing in the corner of the room holding the gun.
"Shayla!" Morgan said running to Shayla giving her a hug crying.
"Thank you!" Morgan said ask they both cried into each others arms.
August was checking on everyone as they came out from hiding under the tables.
"Freeze! Right there Shayla Williams!" Everyone turned to see Derrick and the other officers now aiming their guns towards Shayla and Morgan.
Everyone had a confused expression on their faces.
Something no one knew about Shayla was 2 years ago Shayla was taken to an Mental Asylum for killing her parents in a house fire that she had started while she chained her parents to their bed in the middle of the night.
Cops had been looking for her ever since but she changed appearance and after 2 years of her disappearance the search had died down, or so she thought.
Shayla cried because she'd knew that they'd take her back once she was arrested.
I stared at Shayla not understanding what was going on.
"Shayla what's going on?" I asked in a shaky voice.
"I killed them." Shayla said crying.
"Killed who Shay?" I asked.
"I KILL- KILLED MY FUCKING PARENTS MORGAN!" Shayla said dropping to her knees.
"She's an escape from our special Mental Asylum. We have to take her back, she's unstable for society." Derrick explained.
"I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK! I'M NOT FUCKING CRAZY!" Shayla screamed holding the same gun she'd just used and put it in her mouth.
"STOP!" The officers shouted.
Everyone screamed and ducked as the officers and Shayla shot their guns at the same time.
I dropped to the floor looking up to see Shayla lay there lifeless and blood spilling out of the back of her head.
I cried looking down then seeing blood wound on my clothes.
I was shot.
At that moment all I could think of was our baby that I was carrying.
I was in too much pain to call for help.
I suddenly felt myself slipping in and out of consciousness.
I ran over to Morgan seeing she was bleeding from her side.
"WHAT THE FUCK MAN?!" I yelled to tha officers.
"T GET THE CAR!" I yelled as everyone else stood there in shock.
"Morgan baby can you hear me?" My mother said kneeling down on tha other side of Morgan.
Morgan coughed but I could see her eyes getting low.
A nigga ain't cried since my brother died but this shit right here was too much.
I couldn't hold it in no more I broke down trying to stop Morgan's bleeding with my jacket.
"Mama I don't know what ta do." I cried still holding Morgan in my arms.
"Breathe son she's going to be fine but we have to get her to the car now!" My mama said looking me in my eyes.
I sniffled and wiped my eyes. I had to be strong for Morgan right now.
"Auntie Morgan!" The girls screamed and cried trying to come over to us. Chasandra and Travis pulled them into their chest covering their eyes so they wouldn't see Morgan like this.
"August we're going to pick her up on 3!" My mama said. I nodded in agreement.
We picked up Morgan and I carried her bridal style to the car quickly. My mama opened the door for me and got in as well.
I had Morgan in my lap still trying to stop the bleeding but it was too much.
I could still hear the commotion going on around some but I couldn't open my eyes and I was losing feeling in my legs.
"I love you Morgan, " I was the last I heard August say to me.
Then everything went black.

Small Chests Are Fine Too
It is an undeniable fact that good things come in small packages. More often than not, it is necessary to trim the fat in order to bring what really matters to the forefront. Having extra bulk may seem like a good idea, but in reality it is merely a crutch that will one day become a hindrance, as it is no substitute for personality nor ability. Indeed, often times it is the small things in life that brighten up our daily lives and constantly remind us exactly why we do the things we do. However, it is important to keep an open mind, for while bigger is not always better, there are also times when it is. This holds especially true when it comes to hopes and dreams, which have been known to require a suitably large container from time to time. And while dreaming big could potentially lead to massive dissapointment, one will never truly reach fulfilment if they think too small. A truth that one small woman with meager aspirations is about to find out. DISCLAIMER: This is a spin-off/side story of my main series, Everybody Loves Large Chests, which is also mandatory reading to understand this one. It runs parallel to the main plot, branching off from the chapter titled Upheaval 2, so there will be spoilers for anyone who hasn't reached that point.
