🤦🏽♀️
I just finished tour a week ago and a nigga was happy to be home. I like traveling and shit but afta' a while ya just wanna be in ya own bed ya heard me.
I was chilling in my living room and Morgan was in tha kitchen cooking gumbo fa dinna'.
"Baybeh imma be back I need ta go to the store we outta garlic powder." Morgan said slipping on her flip flops and grabbing ha purse by tha door.
I chuckled as I stood up to give her a kiss before she left.
"Ma you startin' ta sound like me a lil bit" I said kissing her.
"Well I'm always around you and tha family."
"True but text me when ya get to the store and when ya on ya way back." I said in a more serious tone.
I still ain't forgot about them messages that was sent ta Morgan's phone while we was on tour.
I had ta make sure we was both good.
I would've hit up T to go with her but I gave him the week off since it was his and his wife's anniversary.
I pulled out a $10 bill and slid it into Morgan's back pocket as we hugged.
She giggle and pulled back from the hug "Babe what you doing?" she asked and reached in her back pocket pulling out the bill.
She gave me a blank stare while holding the money in her hand.
"What?" I asked acting confused.
"August take this I don't need your money."
I sighed and mentally rolled my eyes because this was a constant petty argument we had.
She neva' liked taking money from others cause she had her own.
"I know ma but you already know I don't like you spending ya own money when ya with me."

"Ya know what I don't even feel like carrying a purse." She said putting the 10 back in ha purse. She reached in ha purse also pulling out her pepper spray and car keys.
"Ight and don't forget wat I said Morgan."
"Yes sir Daddy" Morgan said smirking as she walked outta tha door.
That girl a trip fa real.
I had just pulled up to the store that was about 5 minutes away from Aug's house.
I only took the money August gave me because I knew if I brought my card I would buy more than what I came in here for.
Y'all know how you go into tha store for one specific thing and then come out with 15 other unnecessary items.
It was around 7:25pm and it was getting dark out so I was trying to get in and get out.
I was texting August telling him to cut the stove down so the rice wouldn't burn as I walked down the seasoning aisle.
As I was looking for the garlic powder I felt like I was being watched.
I looked to my right and my left seeing no one was in the aisle with me.
It was pretty quiet due to the store getting ready to close at 8:00.
I shook the feeling off and grabbed the garlic powder as I turned around to go to self checkout but someone bumped into me.
"Umm excuse you.." I said to the person dressed in all black. I could tell it was a female from the body shape but I couldn't see her face because of the hoodie they wore.
She simply turned around and just stared at me before turning away slowly and walking away.
I had a gut feeling some shit was gonna go down.

I checked out as fast as I could.
As I was walking back to the car I was trying to call August but for some reason my phone said "No Service" at the top left of the screen.
Suddenly I heard my car alarm going off starling me. I looked up and instantly felt my cheeks turn red from anger.
Soon I saw the same black figure running away. It was no point of chasing them because before I could get to them they were already half way down the street.
The word "Bitch" was keyed on the hood and other marks were made on the doors.
I sighed getting into my car and slamming my door then speeding home.
I was determined to find out who the fuck was bold enough to step so I can beat they ass.
I got out my car and walked in the house slamming the front door.
"What tha fuck?!" August jumped up and grabbed his gun he keeps on the side of the couch for emergencies.
"Girl why tha hell ya slamming my doors fa?!" August continued ranting but I wasn't worried his door I was worried about my damn car.
He noticed my facial expression.
"What's wrong? They ain't have the stuff ya needed?" He asked.
"Some son of a bitch keyed my car August!" I said in frustration.
"What?! Ma why ya ain't call me?!"
"Because I didn't know who they was and I was trying to call you but my phone was saying 'No Service'." I stressed to him.
I really wanted to cry. It wasn't because I was sad, I could always get me a new car in cash or simply get the paint redone. I cry when I'm upset and at this point I'm pissed.
"How bout I go run ya some bath water. And I'll go look at your car. When you get out you go finish dinner so we can eat while I make a couple of calls. Then we can lay down." August said while messaging my shoulders.
"Nobody touched tho right?" August asked seriously.
"No babe I'm good."
I sighed and let out a low breath. I was trying to shake off the feeling of me having to throw up at the pit of my stomach.
When ever I was stressed or overworking myself, my body feels sick.
"Thanks baby" I said to August giving him a hug and a small peck on the lips.
"Anything for ma baybeh."
I seen tha damage that was done on Morgan's car so I hit up one of ma homeboys ta have it fixed.
I had to find out who was coming fa us.

A Universe of Bloody Evolution
The Void was never meant to be opened to the Multiverse. The horrors waiting inside it should have never seen the light. And yet, the biggest mistake in the history of creation led to the impossible. In an event later known as the Outbreak, gates appeared in the first Universe, and with them, the Void was free. For ages the Void destroyed universe after universe, spreading its power in every direction, leaving only death and pain behind. But before every Universe met its end, it still had a chance. A small part of the population that survived the initial Outbreak and was granted a mysterious System to help them fight against the dangers that came from the Void. They were the Multiverse's last hope even if they couldn't stop the collapse of their own world. And so the cycle continued until the 36th Outbreak came. Leo Hale, a young reporter from Wolford, was one of the lucky ones to survive when the majority of Earth's population turned into monsters straight out of nightmares. Thrust into a constant battle for his life, Leo was determined to push forward and find his remaining family. Even if it meant sacrificing what was left of his humanity. After all, you either adapt or die. Story of progression and evolution with my take at the post-apocalyptic genre. Unlike most monster evolution stories where the monster rushes to gain human form, here I plan to do something quite the opposite. After all, in a world where almost everything wants to kill you, being human can be hard. Warnings are here to give me the freedom to write whatever is necessary. This is my first original novel. Also English isn't my native language so any feedback is welcome. Remember that even if initially this story takes place on Earth, fictional places, streets, etc will appear. Release Schedule: Monday - Wednesday - Friday Average chapter length: 2000-2500 words (There might be exceptions as is the case with some of the first chapters - most of them are longer.)
