A month later

"Aye you good?" Chris asked.

I just nodded. I was zoned out again. Kendrikk gave us the address to where they took Charisma, and then he disappeared.

"August she's going to be back tomorrow, don't worry" Kai gave me a small smile.

"I'm good y'all" I looked at them.

Chris nodded and Kai went and wrapped her arms around him.

I missed when Charisma did that.

"I'm finna go get some food, y'all want anything?" Kai asked.

"Where you think you goin?" Chris asked.

"To McDonalds" She said, grabbing her keys.

"I'll go get it, yeen gotta worry" Chris tried taking the keys from her.

"Chris I got it. I'm pregnant not handicap, chill" She snatched her hand back and got ready to walk out the door.

He just watched her.

"Love you" She grinned as she walked out.

"Luh you too" He mumbled.

"Y'all something else man" I shook my head.

"She stay tryna do errythang like she ain't carrying my baby" He shook his head.

"What's wrong wit dat?" I asked.

"Nigga she pregnant" He smacked his lips.

"So what? She ain't handicap like she said, give it a few months and you gone be back to doing everything."

"Whatever" He muttered.

"Bruh tomorrow can't come quick enough"

"You excited?" He asked.

"Nigga duh, dumbass question" I rolled my eyes. "I was tired of Kayla comin to my damn house everyday"

"Damn my bad" He held his hands up.

"Okay, imma go in through the front, you go in through the back" Chris said, as we scoped our the building.

"Ight, stay safe" I nodded at him.

"Right back at you" He nodded.

I made sure I was fully loaded, and I drove around and parked at a distance.

I looked at the back of the house, and saw a guard standing right there.

I ran into one of the bushes and watched the nigga.

He turned to do something, and I ran up and hit him with the glock.

He fell and and become stills

"First one down" I reached for the door and it opened.

"Aye who do you-" I shot him, luckily i had a silencer so it wasn't loud.

I looked around the corner and didn't see anyone.

I walked around and opened a door,

Chris came in, and I almost shot him.

"Aye nigga chill" He said, "Her security is ass"

"They are" I shook my head.

"Aight lets look for her"

" I gotta slow down eating man, I'm getting fat" I said, when I noticed my shirt was a lil right.

I heard commotion downstairs, but I ignored it, I plopped down on the cough, I jumped hard when I heard Kayla open the door.

"Get up and come with me now!" She hissed.

I got up and walked out, she grabbed my arm as she ran down the stairs, she peeked around the corner, as she ran to the basement.

"Why we runnin-"

"Shut up!" She slightly yelled.

"Aye there's no where to go" I whipped my head around when I heard the familiar voice.

"A-August" I gasped.

Tears fell down my face as I looked at him.

"Put the guns down or I'll kill her" Kayla said. wrapping her arm around my neck.

"Not unless you die first" Chris said, pointing the gun at her.

Pow!

I screamed as Kayla let me go, I instantly fell on the ground.

Chris was holding his shoulder, and behind him was one of Kayla's men holding a gun.

Augus turned around and shot him.

"I need backup in the basment. Now!" Kayla yelled as she opened the door and quickly shut it.

"August" I got up and ran over to him.

"Hey baybeh" He kissed my forehead.

I unintentionally started crying again.

"I missed you" I sniffed.

"I missed you too love" He said.

I heard footsteps, and August pushed me behind him.

"Charisma get out of here now!" August said.

"I don't want to leave you!" I said.

"Go I'll be fine" He pushed me towards the door.

"I love you" I cried as I kissed his cheek and ran out the the door.

When I walked outside, I saw Kayla, who was yelling something into a phone.

I ran up and tackled her.

"You dumb bitch!" I punched her repeatedly in the face.

"Get off me!" She screeched, she started wiggling and knocked me off her.

She tried pinning me down but I scratched her face and grabbed her hair, hitting her in the face again.

"Ouch!" I felt a sharp pain in my stomach.

Kayla pushes me down as she held the blade.

"Since August is going to killed, I think you should join him" She smirked at me.

She tried stabbing me but I rolled.

"Shit" I winced when I tried to stand up, she pushed me back down and sat on me.

"Goodbye bestfriend" She said, I tried moving out she pressed the blade down on my throat.

"Fuck you" I spat.

She pressed it down more and I struggled to breathe.

I heard a gunshot and she went still and I pushed her off me.

I stood up and grabbed my side.

"You good?" I looked and saw it was Kendrick.

"I got stabbed" I winced.

Chris and August busted out the door.

"Charisma! Are you okay?" August asked.

"I'm fine, just got stabbed" I held me side.

He moved my hand, and looked at the wound

"We're gettin' you to a hospital" He said.

"Chris go get the car started" He said, Chris nodded and walked off.

August picked me up, and Kendrick followed us to the car.

"You'll be okay baybeh" August said, It wasn't that bad so I think he was reassuring hisself.

"SHIT!" I heard August yell

I turned around and looked, and my eyes widened as I saw someone pointing a gun in our direction.

Kendrick turned around and shot the man, he instantly dropped to the ground.

I looked at August, who held his stomach, My eyes widened when I saw the blood.

"NO!" I screamed.

August fell, and I dropped down next to him.

"Shit!" I heard Kendrick yell as he ran to go get Chris.

"We have to get you to the hospital" I said, as tears fell down my face. "Hang on baby"

"I love you baybeh, remember that"

"August you're not leaving me" I cried.

I pulled his head on my lap and I hugged him.

"August stay with me" I said. He squeezed my hand and closed his eyes.

After that everything went black.

I opened my eyes, and squinted when the bright light hit my face.

"She's awake" I heard someone say.

I looked and saw Kai and Tiana in the room.

"Charisma!" Kai came and hugged me.

"How are you?" Tiana said.

"Where's August?" I asked, sitting up.

"Ow" I winced as I fell back down.

I saw Tiana and Kai exchange glances.

"You gotta take it easy boo" Kai said.

"Where's August?" I asked again. Her eyes saddened, as a doctor came in.

"Ah Charisma" She came in with her clipboard "I'm Dr. Sanchez," She gave me a smile.

"Okay, is everything good?" I asked

"Yes, we took care of the wound, but you may still experience pain, and your baby is fine as well" She smiled again.

"My baby" I sat up, ignoring the slight pains

"Yes you're a month and a half pregnant, congratulations" She chuckled.

"Oh my" I said as tears fell down my face, I touched my stomach as I cried.

"You're pregnant" Kai gasped as she came and hugged me, Tiana hugged me as well.

"Do you know what's going on with patient August Alsina?" I asked the doctor.

"I can't give out other information on patients, for privacy reasons" She said.

"He's my boyfriend, and the father of my child" I said.

"Oh!" and her demeanor changed.

"What happened?" I asked, praying didn't say what I think she was.

"He didn't make it, Charisma, I'm sorry for your loss"
