Kendall's POV

I woke up early Saturday morning because it's my first day babysitting Ms. Y/ln's 9 yr old daughter I only get to babysit her every weekend because I'm still 15 and a 9th-grade student

Ms. Y/ln is my science teacher she's a single mom and a nice teacher

Ms. Y/ln house is just a street away from my house so I decided to go for a walk since it's just 7 am and my start is at 8:30

I'm nervous yet excited because it's my first time babysitting someone don't get me wrong I love kids and I play with my little cousins but I don't know if Ms. Y/ln's daughter will like me or what type of a kid she is but I hope she won't give me a hard time

I'm standing outside Ms. Y/ln house I ring the bell twice and I hear little footsteps which are open by a 9 yr old girl but before I could say anything it was shut again

"Y/n who's at the door?" I hear Ms. Y/ln's ask the little girl but hear no response so I butt in and answer Ms. Y/ln's question

"Kendall good morning you're a little early, come in" Ms. Y/ln says as the little girl hiding behind her

"Good morning Ms. Y/ln" and wave at the little girl

"Kendall please call me Anne I feel old" so I nod

"Hi princess I'm Kendall and you are?" I ask the cute little girl who's still hiding behind her mother

"Oh Kendall this my daughter Y/n she's very shy towards new people but she's a nice kid" I nod at my teacher and smile at Y/n

"Y/n behave and this is Kendall she's gonna babysit you now, I'll be back tonight" Anne says and kisses her daughter's head

"Goodbye Anne" I look to see Y/n run upstairs maybe to her room

I go to the kitchen and cook breakfast since it's still almost 9 and I know y/n still hasn't eaten, I decided to cook fried rice, bacon, and egg and I make a milkshake for drinks

I go up and see Y/n playing with her toys she look scared when I enter her room so I smile at her and tell her to go down and eat which she kindly obey

I and y/n are still watching kid shows in the living room, Anne is gonna be home in 30 mins and it's already 8 pm

I tell y/n to get ready for a bath, after I give y/n a bath I read her a book to sleep she's so cute sleeping, I kiss her forehead and go downstairs

It's been a month and Y/n and I are on really good terms now she's not shy around me anymore we cuddle and clingy to each other I kind of feel something for her and it's weird because she's just a 9 yr old and I'm 15 I don't know if it's affection or something but she's beautiful to me and I like all of her, on how she talks about her favorite kids shows, her fave princess characters, her pout and puppy dog eyes, her dimples whenever she laughs or smiles, the way she reacts when I gave her something for treats or surprise and all the little things she does, but she's just a kid what can I do?

Finally, I'm a senior now I'm about to graduate in a week and study chemistry for college outside the state but I don't know how to tell Y/n that, and yes I still babysit her and I don't want to be away from her but I don't have a choice and I have to for my future.

It's my graduation day today and I just got my diploma "Kenny!" Y/n exclaims when she saw me and jump in my arms

I caught her and smile big at her "Congratulations Kenny" Y/n whisper in my ear and it gives shiver to my body

"Thank you princess" and my dad took a picture of us

We're in a restaurant celebrating my end of being in high school, Y/n sits next to me

"So Kendall where are you going for college?" My uncle asked me and see their attention on me now

"Uh -I I in UCL, I got in UCL"

(University College London) I say and receive compliments like 'Wow that's great and it's a very good Med school' 'nice choice' and look at Y/n to see her with an unreadable expression.

I'm in so much worry right now because she still hasn't said a word to me and we're at her house now

"Princess please say something" I plead for her then she faces me with teary eyes and a hurt expression

"You're leaving me" she says in a sad tone

"N-no please princess don't cry I -I'm not leaving you I'm just studying in another country" I assure her

"Still, then you'll forget about me" I join her cry and held her in my arms

"Will talk every day or if I'm not busy I promise" I tell her

"Promise?"

"Yes princess I promise".

Y/n's POV

"Y/n darling congratulations" my mom congrats me for being a valedictorian

"Thanks, mom it's for you" I tell her

"It's just for me?" Mom ask

"Yes mom" I say smiling at her

"Not even for your Kenny?" I shake my head still smiling but deep down I'm hurt

......

I'm packing my things for college and I'm taking Pharmacy at Yale University

I'm so excited to learn more and meet new people at Yale but I'm a little sad I can't take my mom with me because she has a job here luckily we're just towns away so we can still visit each other anytime

When I enter the classroom I found a seat and make myself comfortable

"Hello friend, is this seat taken? I'm Gemery by the way" the very chubby cute girl ask and introduce herself

"I'm Y/n and no it's not" I smile at her, the teacher walks in and tells us to get to know each other

When I turn to Gemery we talk for a while and she's really funny and so nice to talk

"So we're best friends now?" Gemery ask me wiggling her bows and with her creepy smile I can't help but laugh at her she's so entertainingly funny

"Of course G" meanwhile the teacher dismissed us

"Ok, what's your next subject?" G asks me

"Uhm Chemistry lab, you?" I tell her

"Oh let me see your sched" so I hand her my schedule

"Oh we have all the same classes together" we both exclaim and laughs at our outburst

We enter the chem lab and suit ourselves then the beautiful teacher walks in

"Hello class I'm your chemistry laboratory teacher for 3 hours my name is Ms. Jenner but you can call me Ms. J" Ms. J tell us

Jenner? it's familiar though and she looks like my Kenny but that's impossible they already moved to London right?

Ms. J starts calling our names for attendance as I study her, when it's my turn she pauses and look shocked I have a big feeling that she is Kenny but I have to be strong she's the one who left me and broke our promise and I am here to study

"Y-Y/n Y/Ln?" Kenny or Ms. J finally says

"Here" I say as I raise my hand she looks at me and sees her sad face so I smile at her to lighten up the mood I may be hurt but I still love her

"Ms. Y/Ln please stay after this class" K -Ms. J says

I don't have a choice because sooner or later I know I have no escape with this so I nod and tell G that I'll see her later

We wait for the other students to clear the room " I -I'm sorry princess" she says to me mentioning my nickname to her which makes my heart beats fast its speed than normal

"It's in the past Ms. J and I'm over it" I tell her which is a big total lie because I'm never gonna over it I'm still missing her every day from the day she left to the day she finally stopped talking to me

"Please don't say that princess because I'm never over it -I think about you every day, please give me another chance?" Kenny says tears flowing down her face

"Why, why'd you stop calling or message me at least huh?" I say my voice cracking a bit, tears building in my eyes because it hurts I waited for her for years

"I did, but I lost my phone and when I first came back from London I came to your old house to found out you already moved out I did try finding you but I have no luck but when I read your name in my class list I find hope that I have a chance to see you again and I did"

I can't hold myself from not bursting into tears anymore so let myself and I feel her hold me, crying as well and I can't help but hold her tight too

We stay in this position "you're grown now I almost didn't recognize you, gosh I miss you so much" Kenny whisper to me I look at her and hold her tight again

"I miss you too Kenny and I'm happy that we find each other" I look at her and she kisses my forehead then my cheeks and I close my eyes at the pleasant feeling

It's been 2 months now since I and Kenny talked in chem lab I found out that they already back in Cali and she already met my mom again when mom visited me last month and she offers my mom for me to just stay in her house here so that mom can save the money for my projects and extras which my mom agreed

We're on good terms now we are back just like we are back then, except my feelings for her got worst I feel signals that she like me too but I can't be right either because I'm sure that she just likes me as a friend or a sister and because she's my teacher

Kendall's POV

It's already 7 am and Y/n still hasn't come down to eat I go up to check her if she's done I knock twice no answer I call her again still she's not answering I open the door and see her still in bed but I notice she's shaking a bit so I approach her and feel her forehead and she's burning sick

I get a bowl with warm water and a towel to help her stimulate sweat that keeps the body cool, soothes sore muscles, and decongest sinuses that may be blocked due to a cold

I notice she's wearing pants so I remove them because it helps to trap heat inside her body and leaves her in just her shirt and underwear then I check her temperature

I call in sick today I can't leave Y/n like this she needs me

I go up and bring her a soup and Gatorade

"Y/n, princess wakes up I bring you a soup" I shake her gently

"Kenny w-what are you still doing here?" she asks

"I'm taking care of you" I tell her

"But you have to teach don't, worry about me I'll b-" I cut her off

"I'd already called in sick and I can't leave you like this princess" I assure and smile at her

"You are not my babysitter anymore Kenny" she says chuckling

"But you're still my baby" I slip the baby word and saw her blush

"Say ahh baby here comes the train choo choo" I say smiling wide as I feed her and she just sends me a glare

"Don't be mad, baby" I kiss her cheek

"So I'm a baby now, I'm not your princess anymore?" She then smirks at me and it's my turn to blush

"Well you are baby and still are my princess" I mirror her smirk

Today's Valentine's Day and I asked Y/n to be my valentine's we can go as friends right?

Valentines is for all as long as you are with the person you love and because I still don't have the guts to tell Y/n what I feel I don't know if she likes me back, yeah she's really sweet with me we almost act like a couple every day except in school but she is really sweet like that even when I was just babysitting her back then

I put on the black dress that fits me perfectly and my matching black heels I'm applying my makeup when my phone ding I read it's a message from Y/n saying for me to wait for her because she forgot something and I text her back 'k Princess be safe 😘'

The doorbell rings funny because I'm not expecting anyone nor Y/n

I open the door shock when I see Y/n holding a bouquet of roses for me with her beautiful smile

" Y/n! What are you doing?" I ask her and notice her wearing a navy blue dress that fits her perfectly

"This is for you, you look perfect by the way" she says as she gives me the roses

"Thank you, you look beautiful Y/n"

We go to the car and I open the car door for her "I'm driving" I tell her

We are now in the restaurant, we were eating our foods when a lady approaches us

"Hello madams in from the 'Love match' and I'm here to tell you guys that we think you both are perfect for our games and there're also photo booths" the lady says her speech but before I could say that we are not a couple, Y/n beat me to it

"Cool we're in" and smile at me

"Great well we are just over there thank you girls" the lady says and proceeds to the other couples

"Y/n are you sure?" I ask

"Cmon Kenny it's fun" she says

Y/n's right it is really fun we join almost all of the games and we also do photo-booths

"Are you having fun?" I hear Y/n ask me and hold my hands facing her

"Yeah princess it's fun I'm having fun with you" I tell her smiling but she wears an expression that I can't quite read

"Y/n, princess are you ok?" I ask her in worry

"I-I Kenny can I tell you something please don't hate me after I tell you this it's just that I can't hide it anymore" now I'm worried

"What is it, princess?" I ask her again

"Kenny I -I like you, like you" I'm shocked I can't believe it she likes me back? Wow

She must think that I don't feel the same because she let go of my hands "I'm sorry I ruined it, I'll go"

She starts to walk but I caught her hand and kiss her

First, she's shocked but then she reciprocates the kiss I smile when we broke the kiss I look at her and see her smiling too

"I like you too Y/n, no I love you" I finally say it

"I love you too Kenny" and she kisses me
