《The Ultimate Social Media Guide For Wattpad Writers》Pinterest For Writers

Yes. Pinterest. Mhmm. I'm not crazy. Pinterest CAN be used to help you find readers and network with authors. Here's how...
. Separate from your personal account. Make sure to only pin what you want your readers to see ;) Also, make sure the profile is set up with links to your writing.
. You should first have a board dedicated to your work. Pin each of your books to this board. Links to the actual page where they can be read. Make sure the image looks nice, it should be all book cover. Now make this board the featured board on your profile. It will always display first when someone visits.
Your next board should be for your latest book. Give it some categories like quotes, images, reviews, similar books, and an inspiration board. Fill them up with a dozen or so pins each to start. Then add more pins naturally over time. Try to add at least 1 pin a week to keep it active.
You can create a board for each book you have, then have categories (like subfolders) within those boards. So for instance you have a board called Cinderella, then in that board there is a category for each character, an inspiration board, etc. Get creative and help your readers see yoru story in new ways. You can also have general boards set up to pin things related to your writing. Like if you're a fantasy writer, you can pin cosplay, playlists, fairy pics etc. Just a note, when you pin things, you can add your own description or comment. For example, if you're pinning an old rusty car that the body was found in, say that and then cite your book name and author name. It might get repinned onto a completely unrelated account but lead a reader back to you!

A Major in Necromancy
Heidie Melland has had a very bad day. She wasn’t looking forward to college to begin with, let alone some lame mandatory orientation day. All she wanted was to continue to mooch off of her parents and maintain a modest lifestyle as a shut in. Heidie expected orientation to suck and it absolutely did. She is the only survivor. Now stuck in the desolate reaches of a strange hostile world, she must use all the cunning she can muster to keep her life and freedom intact. Her only hope for survival lies in the severed head of an ancient demon and its promises of knowledge and power. Necromancy probably wouldn’t have been her first choice, but it will have to do. Release Schedule: pending motivation.
8 135Incursions
This blurb concerns Incursions book 1: Incarceration. If you could buy superhuman abilities, but they might kill you—or worse—would you do it? Ten years ago, in a world not so different from our own, people with powerful abilities appeared. The new powers were dangerous, dangerous to acquire—dangerous to have—dangerous to wield. World governments raced to find and eradicate the abilities and those who possess them while using the media to rule by fear. Whereas corporations sought to exploit the abilities for profit. Raz Owens was living the dream - a rising star at a job he enjoys, a girlfriend he loves, but it all comes crashing down when Raz disregards his late father's advice. He is pulled into a chaotic underworld of clandestine labs, shadow organizations, and super-powered criminals. Used as a human test subject in a place where few survive the day, he must last long enough to escape. His only advantage? A power that seems nearly useless—a heads-up display. Contains: monsters, violence, death, dismemberment, gamelit, superpowers, superpower consequences, good guys, bad guys, good guys who might be bad guys, bad guys who think they are good guys, good guys that might go bad, bad guys that might turn good, guns for hire, competence, incompetence, continence, incontinence, conspiracies, and some of what I just said wasn't true. This story is written in third person limited POV. That means you can expect to know many of the thoughts and inner dialog of one character, and only see the actions of other characters. This POV does include scenes without the main character, and thus the reader can and will know things the main character does not. Further, this means characters act on what they know, which is almost always less than the reader knows. Something else to know. These books do not hold your hand. If you're reading it and thinking "Gosh, why aren't 'they' doing some 'obvious' thing." Bad news. You probably missed something that explains exactly that. If you're seeking a light read that doesn't ask much of you as the reader, you're invited and very welcome to come on in, but this might not be the story for you.
8 145The Time Breaker
Atli was summoned to another world to defeat a deamon lord but things don't go so well and he ends up in a sticky situation
8 142The Wise Old Dragon
What happens when a boy, raised on old stories, meets a dragon who is dreaming of his younger days? I will tell you, they spend their time doing chores around the farm and running away to far off lakes. That is until the boy is no longer a boy and the dragon is, well, he is still an old dragon. More importantly, what happens when a young man and his wise old dragon lose their small farm tragically? When the young man’s grief is not met with loving words from his mother or stern words from his father. And when the fires of burning buildings drive the old dragon to remember times that should be forgotten. What will they do? Maybe they will run off into the mountains hiding from all that would do them harm. Or maybe, just maybe, they will enter a world that has not seen such a pairing in a very long time. Join our story as we try to have the patience required for old bones to move and young minds to learn as disaster and adventure appear hand in hand. Friends will be made as well as enemies, battles will be won and lost, and some legends will be proven to be true. A truth that should scare all of Elleton.
