'What is it, ser Jamie?' Cersei asked her brother.
'We could seek help with our beloved little brother.'
The face of her mother turned into one of disgust. She immediately opened her mouth to protest, but Anthea placed a hand on her arm to stop her from doing so.
'You think lord Tyrion would still want to help us? After all our family has done to him?' She asked in disbelief.
'If we tell him it is you who needs help, than yes, maybe,' Jamie answered. He seemed pretty sure about this idea, but she wasn't totally convinced. Tyrion felt no love towards his sister. 'He has always liked you. You were the 'golden child' in his eyes. Pretty blonde hair, sweet personality. He grew very fond of you,' Jamie added.
'Yeah, but that was before my mother nearly chopped his head off.' She gave her mother a quick glance to see what her reaction would be. Cersei only raised her brows and studied her nails.
Jamie let out a painful sigh. 'I know, but-'
'Not to forget he is named Hand of the queen now. I don't think he would like to give up his position and come back all the way to Kingslanding just to help his niece.'
Jamie shuffled a bit. 'There is another way. We could ask lord Baelish for help.'
Cersei groaned. 'I forgot that cheeky little bastard was still alive,' she muttered.
Anthea frowned. 'What could he offer us? He is no rich man.'
'You might be wrong about that, your grace. Lord Baelish is lord of both the Vale and the Twins,' Jamie replied.
'He owns the Twins now? How did that happen?' Cersei asked with a frown. 'Who gave it to him?'

'He took it with the knights of the Vale,' Jamie answered.
'But even if he does want to help us, he would want something in return,' Anthea said.
'We sent out a raven to both lord Tyrion and lord Baelish. Our brother didn't reply, but lord Baelish did. He told me he was willing to help, but he did want something in return.'
'You did what?! You sent out ravens without my permission?!' Anthea spat. 'Don't forget I am your queen and I don't want things happening behind my back. If we are going to join this war, we need to trust each other. Do you understand?'
Her uncle slowly nodded. 'Yes, your grace. I deeply apologize.'
'Yeah, you should,' Anthea muttered. Gabe, the master of coins, smiled a little.
'What were his demands?' Cersei asked. 'What does he want? Gold?'
Jamie made a face. 'No, he doesn't want any of our gold...' He gave Anthea an apologizing look. 'He wants you to marry him.'
Her mother quickly stood up. 'She won't marry him!' Jamie tried to calm her down. 'Don't get agitated. We haven't agreed yet, now have we?'
'Why does he want that?' Anthea asked in shock.
'Isn't that obvious? He wants to become the king,' Cersei explained. 'He wants to infiltrate in our family and rule the seven kingdoms. But I won't let him.'
'Your grace,' Killian spoke. 'If we do not agree, we will certainly loose this war. We don't stand a chance against the Boltons and we don't stand a chance without the gold of lord Baelish.'
Anthea closed her eyes and hoped it was all a bad dream. Unfortunately, it wasn't.

The Faction Contributor [Sci-Fi LitRPG]
While casually studying for his upcoming university exam, Aven suddenly felt the world around him start warping. It started with flashes of light appearing from nowhere, quickly escalating into his whole world becoming an absolute mess of flickering pixels and chaotic color flows, as if reality had become a malfunctioning glitched screen. What he could recognize as numbers, letters, and strange symbols flew everywhere around him, obviously trying to form a coherent whole to be displayed before his eyes, but such attempts kept failing, again and again. Before he could even start thinking about how both mesmerizing and absurd this spectacle was, however, it all stopped, as suddenly as it had begun. Accompanying the end of this unique show, 2 things happened. First, knowledge had spontaneously appeared in his mind and he could perfectly understand it, as if it had always been there, just inaccessible. Second, a weird simultaneously hot and cold energy had made its apparition inside his body completely unannounced. Aven had just simply and purely awakened his innate ability and the energy potential of his cells, joining the world of the supers, a minority that had always controlled and protected the world since ancient times, by becoming one of them. *** Do you have a sci-fi itch to scratch?
