《ginger & brunette {an Elmax ff}》Chapter 17 - Sunset Babes

The lazy day passes slowly. We talked a lot; made out sometimes; looked at the new drawing of Will (a very realistic rainbow with two people kissing underneath it) and helped Joyce with chores, while she was off work (she works in a store and doesn't has summer break).
Meanwhile it's already 6pm. Me and El are outside.
The delicious smell reaching the street tells me, that Joyce is making dinner. Yum.
I have an idea: Let's teach El how to skateboard!!
"Wait here", I tell her. "Huh?", I hear her say, but I already run inside to get my longboard.
Not much later I'm standing in front of El again, but with my board.
"What are you on about?", she asks. "I'll teach you how to skateboard", I reply. She looks a bit confused and concerned. But then she suddenly starts laughing. Huh? I chuckle confused. "What is so funny?!", I ask laughing, because Eleven won't stop giggling. "Nothing, but me and skateboarding? It'll look stupid", she chuckles. "It won't. You could never look stupid", I answer. She gives me a smile. "It's true. But come on now!", I say and put my skateboard down. I tell El to stand on it and she does what I say.
It's so hard to keep my balance, but I don't fall on the road, because Max is holding my shoulders.
"You good to go?", she asks, smiling. "Yeah", I reply, blushing, because Max is standing very close to my face.
She looks into my eyes and blushes instantly, because I already look at her.
"Eh, okay. Well I'll push you and you'll try to hold the balance. I'll be running beside you, okay?", she tells me. I nod. "And.. what will happen if I don't hold the balance?", I ask shyly. Would she punish me? Would she be mad? I don't want that.

"That'll be okay too babe. I'll catch you if you fall", Max answers, winking.
'Babe' ? (My face turns into a tomato)
[Timeskip]
We just finish Joyce's dinner. She made Mac & Cheese. Hers is the best. Yummy.
Max and I stand up from the table. "It was delicious Joyce, thanks. We'll go off now.", I say. Joyce smiles, thanks and lets us go.
"What are we going to do?", Max asks, while we're jogging the stairs up. "No idea", I respond, as we enter my room and plump us -how always-, on my bed. It's 8.46pm.
Eventually we decide to go outside again.
"I got an idea", Max says, as we're in front of our house. "What is it?", I ask curiously. I wonder what this idea is. I'm excited.
Max grabs her skateboard and puts it down. "Stand on it, I'll stand in front of you.", she tells me. I do what she says. Will she teach me again how to skateboard?
No, but soon we're skating through the still warm streets. My arms wrapped around Max's waist, I cuddle against her.
"Where are we going?", I ask over and over again, but Max won't tell me.
We skate a while on the road, but about 10 minutes later, Max turns into the forest. I don't even try, to get an answer anymore.
We stop, Max picks up the board, takes my hand and walks deeper into the forest; still not saying anything.
But as I see soon, the trees get less. Huh? Behind the last couple of trees, I can see a cliff.
Wait what? What is Max on to?
I get it.
She wants to watch the sunset with me.
That makes my heart explode in happiness.
First we just sit next to eachother. Max left, me right.

It's perfectly quiet. Nobody is here, besides us. I love this place. I notice Max's hand, placed very close to mine and she's moving it slightly closer. I decide to just take her hand and hold it.
Max's cheeks turn light red.
We enjoy holding hands in silence.
"The sun should set in about ten minutes", Max says softly. I nod.
The sun turns dark orange. It looks absolutely beautiful.
I look at my even more gorgeous brunette. She looks a bit pale and she has goosebumps.
"Are you cold?", I ask.
"Maybe", I get as an answer. Without hesitation I pull off my jacket and wrap it around El. She looks at me, smiling shyly.
She moves closer to me and rests her head on my shoulder.
AHHHHHHHAJKJKSKSSNNBD!!!! THAT IS SO CUTE!!!
Of course I can't show my flip out, but instead I give her a kiss on the forehead and smile very hard. I can't even control it, I just did that automatically.
We watch the sunset in awe and cuddle up together. It's an incredible moment. I never would've thought, that this little brunette would give me so much happiness.
Slowly it's getting dark.
El sits now between my legs, my head resting on her right shoulder, my arms wrapped around her waist. It's adorable. I can smell sweet cherry blossom, while digging my nose into her brown, puffy hair.
I pick up a pastel pink flower from the grass around us and stuck it into El's hair. She chuckles and throws her head on my chest, so she can look up to me. I look back. El smiles and I blush. I lean down and kiss her. She softly kisses back.
After that, my lips taste like watermelon.
It's really dark now. We lay very close to eachother, watching the many little stars. The moon is above us too, shining bright.
We talk, explain some stars, laugh, stare at eachother and laugh again. I enjoy this and her a lot.
We both lose the track of time, but then eventually remember and quickly get up, giggling. Suddenly El jumps on my back. It was so quickly, but I wouldn't dare to drop her, so now she wraps her legs around my waist and I grab her arms. That's how we walk out of the woods.
Soon we hit the road again, now light freezing wind blasting against us, but we really don't mind.
This evening was the best I've ever had.

8 199The Shadow Paradigm - Book 1: Project Orb Weaver
Gardening, cooking, innovation, preservation, charity events... Madzistrale, Tom and Gabzryel does it all. But when they encounter the mysterious Shiakar Paradigm Society, a clash of paradigms ensues. Although both groups are aiming to make humanity stand stronger, their ideals and methods could not be further apart. Between the trio's optimistic yet naive ideals, and the SPS's tried-and-true surgical methods, determining the answer which methods can better humanity is a struggle that both parties must resolve in their own ways... Welcome to the 7th revision of my 10+ years ongoing novel trilogy. This revision took out some flawed plot concepts to re-introduce a more down-to-earth, film noir-like ambience, where a battle of wits is what will determine the outcome. It also added instead more in-depth expansion into the lives and mindsets of the characters, especially the heroes (a missing factor in older versions). Third-view limited storytelling was also introduced more prominently over my favoured third-view omnipotent, with each chapters concentrating as much as possible on a single character's point of view instead of head-hopping. So I shall begin uploading the chapters as I finish them; they're edited as much as I can, but there'll most likely be some typos and mistakes. As always, I welcome your comments and critiques, and I hope you enjoy reading that story as much as I did creating it! A parting poem to introduce the story (translated from its original French version): Credit: Les Mots, Mylene Farmer & Seal Firmly, the sky writhes When a mouth begets a death There, I will give my life to hear you To tell you the most tender words When all becomes all alone I'll break my life for a song And to lives that stoop to notice mine I know I will say goodbye But a fraction of this life I would give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives You could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple If one swept the world away One could touch the universe I will tell you how the sun rose high We could with a word become one And for all those words that hurts us There are those that touches us Which illuminates, touches the infinity Even if nothingness exists For a fraction on this life We will give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives We could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple
