《Jack of Clubs (BxB)》32: It Means The World To Me

"I know you hate parties." Sam glanced over at me from the drivers seat. "But Dennis has a good point. I think we should go and just fuck around."
I nodded. "Yeah, I was going to go."
He smirked. "And when no one is looking, we can sneak off."
That had a smile on my face as soon as he said it. I laughed. "But what if someone sees us or something?"
"Hmm." He thought for a moment, turning the words over in his head. "We could always just sneak off all the way back to my place."
I snorted. We definitely could, he wasn't wrong about that. Nor was I opposed to the idea. If things were to go wrong tomorrow, at least I would have spent the day before with the boy I loved. That to me, was the most important thing.
"What about the other guys?" I pointed out, chuckling at Sam's idea. "Won't they want to know where we went?"
Sam shrugged. "They'll probably all be drunk or high, so I doubt they'll even notice."
Remembering something, or rather someone, I let out a sigh. "You forgot about Millie. I can't just leave her there."
Sam pouted, looking at me with a sad face. "Can't she just ride home with Brian and Cade? Brian usually doesn't drink, so he could bring her home."
I thought about it for a moment, trying to come to a conclusion. "She does like Caden quite a bit. I might be able to come up with something."
"Hell yeah." Sam instantly perked up, smiling to himself. He pulled into his flawless driveway, bringing the car to a stop in front of his house.
"Don't get too excited." I reminded him. "I said might."
Sam leaned over, cupping my cheek and lightly kissing my lips. When he pulled back, he had a very content look on his face. "Might, is a load of bullshit, Sugar. We both know that it will happen."
I rolled my eyes, hating the fact that he was one-hundred percent correct. As I pulled open the car door, I let out a quick. "My name is not Sugar."
We entered the house and as Sam locked the door, I impatiently entered the living room, making myself at home on his very comfortable couch. I pulled out my phone, lazily getting rid of any notifications. The only ones were from games I had downloaded.
"You waste no time." Sam snorted once he joined me. He plopped down beside me, leaning over to look at what I was up to.
I took the opportunity to lay back against the armrest and toss my legs up onto his lap. He looked at me with a very unimpressed expression attached to his face.

"Really?" He said.
"What?" I shrugged. "It's comfortable."
"You could have laid with your head in my lap or something." He pointed out. "That would have been considered far more romantic."
I shrugged again, making sure to emphasize it. "Domestic bliss, I guess."
"You're lucky that you're so damn cute."
•O•O•
"Sammy!" A voice called from the doorway, and I instantly brought my body away from Sam's. I peered over the back of the couch, watching as three people made their way inside. A familiar parade.
Caden was skipping, a large smile glued to his face. Brian followed behind, expression as stoic as ever. Then Dennis joined, looking as jolly as I had seen him in quite some time. I couldn't help but get slightly annoyed at Caden's usage of Sam's spare key. It made my life much harder, and I was certain that the key would one day be our downfall.
"Hey, guys." Sam greeted them all, waving as he dropped his phone into his pocket.
"Hello, Sam! Hello, Sawyer!" Caden said cheerfully. I didn't understand why, but he always made sure to greet every person individually. Maybe it was for the extra attention. Or maybe he just liked to make everyone feel included. He was an utter mystery to me.
"Hey." I smiled as well, though not nearly as wide.
Shockingly enough, Brian was the first to speak up. "Could you bring them there, Sam? My mom wanted me to run some errands before I went."
Sam nodded. "Sure thing, man, I don't mind. But I have to stop at Millie's on the way there."
However, Caden was shaking his head, grabbing and pulling on Brian's sleeve to get his attention. "I want to come!"
Brian raised a dark brow. "Why?"
Caden thought about it for a moment, before grinning like an excited child. "Snacks."
"Sure." Brian shrugged, giving in to the short boy. I guessed that it was impossible to resist someone so happy. Though I knew that I would certainly try.
I really appreciated the fact that Brian was getting more and more comfortable around me. He was slowly starting to talk more when I was there, which was oddly comforting. I wanted all of Sam's friends to like me. It meant the world to me and I was glad that at least Caden did.
"So, Millie's coming?" Dennis wiggled his stupid eyebrows at me, resulting in a very pissed off expression to be sent his way.
"Yes, but it's not for you." I told him. "Go be a fuckboy towards someone else."
Sam laughed. "I love it when he's like this."
"Shut up." I rolled my eyes. Then I turned back to Dennis. "Seriously. Leave Millie alone."

Dennis stared at me for a moment, as if he was in deep thought. "But what if she's into it?"
"What part of leave Millie alone do you not understand?" I ran a hand over my face in pure frustration.
"The whole thing."
"No more fighting." Sam cut in, effectively making us resort to sending distant glares at each other. "We have grown passed that stage. We're cool now. If Sawyer and I could do it, then so can you."
Dennis mimicked him, parading around the room dramatically. "I have no qualms about Sawyer. However, I do want to get with Millie. If he doesn't let me, then I am going to continue to entice him."
"Well, no more enticing under my roof." Sam told him. He paused. "Except when Sawyer says really fucking funny comebacks."
"That's not fair!" Dennis yelled, pointing at me. "I'm your best friend! Back away from him, you imposter!"
"I can't make comebacks if he doesn't say anything for me to come back at." I told Sam, tucking my feet beneath me, preparing to listen to some more arguing. I might as well have had popcorn and 3D glasses.
"Damn, that is a good point." Sam thought about it for a moment. "Fine, I guess you can do a little bit of arguing. Just not over Millie."
"Why?" Dennis groaned. "Shit. Do you want to get with her, too?"
Sam snorted, glancing at me briefly. We both knew why that was so funny, but Dennis did not. "I can reassure you that I don't want to get with her in the slightest. But she is Sawyer's best friend, so no treating her like shit. It's only fair."
Dennis threw his head back with a sigh. "Fine! But that doesn't mean I won't stop secretly trying."
"Dennis." Sam warned.
"Sam." Dennis drawled.
"No more." He told him.
Dennis paused before looking at me. "But like, is she a virg-"
"Dennis!" Sam yelled at him, huffing at his friend. My jaw dropped.
"It's an important question!" Dennis yelled back, pointing at me and stomping his foot dramatically. "Sawyer is on the inside. What's the point of talking to him if I can't get any important information out of him?"
"You're acting like a child." Sam sighed, shaking his head.
"Dennis." Caden walked up to him, placing an assuring hand on his broad shoulder. "I think you shouldn't taint Millie. She's cool and I'd really rather you not destroy her."
"See. Caden gets it." I enthusiastically jumped in to agree.
"Thanks, Sawyer!" He smiled sweetly, patting Dennis' shoulder. "We'll find you someone else to get with tonight." He said to Dennis.
"Yes, we will." Dennis agreed.
"I'm going to head out now." Brian told Sam, before calling over to Caden. "Cade? You ready to get going?"
Caden happily jumped up, clapping his hands and skipping back to where Brian was waiting. "Onward!" He pointed to the door dramatically, grabbing Brian's sleeve and dragging him behind him. I noticed Brian's eyes rolling before he disappeared through the doorway. There was a the faint sound of Sam's front door closing before they were officially gone.
"So... now what?" Dennis looked at the both of us expectantly. I shrugged, looking at Sam with the same expectant look that Dennis had just offered.
"Yeah, Sam, so now what?" I challenged him, snickering at the boy.
Sam rolled his eyes, reaching across the couch to flick my forehead. I slapped his hand away and stood up. "Then let's go. Let's party." I said.
"That sounded very unenthusiastic." Dennis pointed out. "But I'll take it, because I want to go get so drunk that I can't even stand up."
"Then let's go!" I emphasized it this time around, waving for Sam to get his fat ass up. The boy took way longer than he usually would, purposely dragging it out just to piss me off.
When we left the house, Brian's car was already gone. There was a split moment where it was just Sam and I in the car. During that time, he had turned to me and winked. I was almost instantly turned into a flustered mess.
When Dennis joined us, he said. "Time to get drunk!" Before slapping us both on the shoulders in a friendly sort of way.
I didn't meet his eye, not wanting for him to see the relentless blush that only Sam could bring out in me. It was honestly going to be the death of me.
"What the hell happened to him?" Dennis pouted, leaning back in his seat in the same manner that a dejected child would.
"I don't know, Dennis." Sam teased. "Maybe you hit him too hard."
"Oh, hush up." I snapped, laughing at the exchange. "I'm just waiting for us to get there."
That made Dennis perk right back up. If there was anyone on the planet who loved partying the most, that person would have been him. The guy loved to get drunk and fuck any girl who would let him. He loved it so much, that I was starting to think it was a little unhealthy.
However, I brought my thoughts elsewhere, staring out of the window.
This was our night to have fun.
The last night before it all fell apart.

"I don't want to go with you" I whispered... Big mistake. I screamed as he slammed me down to the ground hard and held my neck, he straddled my hips hovering over me and growled in my ear making me whimper. "You are mine do you understand? Mine. And I will have you to myself which means you are going to join me and my pack" he said and I shook my head "j-just reject me and none of this has to happen" I whispered and he growled sliding his other hand down my stomach. "Don't test me mate" he said and I gasped as he grabbed me "you belong to me now so like I said before. Go home and pack your bags" he said and I just shook my head "I don't want to leave my pack-" "To-fucking-bad" he said "I let you go twice. I'm not letting you go again" he growled and I looked up at him nervously shaking my head. "Do as I say or I'll kill your pack. One. By. One" he said putting his lips to my ear "no" I whimpered and he looked at me. "I-I'll do it" I whispered and he nodded letting me go.
