《Three Wishes [TinCan]》Chapter 8: Love

Tin and Pete were sitting at the stadium stand. Tin was a bit uncomfortable around the noisy crowd. Pete was excited, eyes practically sparkling whenever he saw Ae on the field.
Pete had dragged Tin to the stadium to watch the football match. Not that it took much persuasion as Tin also want to watch Can play.
Tin's eyes catched a figure on the field. The boy was bouncing around and stretching as he warmed up for the match. The boy's eyes roamed the stand before it finally settle on Tin. Can smiled and waved enthusiastically at Tin. Tin, a bit embarrassed with the attention, gave a small wave back to Can.
Tin was not a big fan of football but he was absorbed with the game. He winced whenever the ball missed the goals and smiled whenever a goal was made by Can's team.
He gripped his seat until his knuckles turned white when he saw Can ran across the field with a ball in front of him, clearly trying to make a shot. Suddenly, a guy from the opposing team shoved Can, making him fall down. Tin almost lurched off his seat.
Can was granted a penalty kick. Tin watched with a bated breath as Can focused on the goal, preparing to kick the ball. The whistle was blown and Can kicked the ball which when straight into the goal.
The crowd cheered and Can was running around the field, hugging his teammates. Tin then realized he had stand up and cheered along with the crowd. He looked to his left and saw Pete still in his seat, giving him a smile.
-----
"Congratulations, Can for winning the game." Tin said.
"Thanks, Ai'Tin."
"Do you have plans after this?"
"Yeah, P'No is taking the team for some barbeque to celebrate."

"Ohh you guys have fun, na. Would you like to come to my house tomorrow? My parents are not around and we can watch movies together." Tin asked.
Can nodded enthusiastically as he remembered Tin told him about his house.
"Alright, see you later." Tin said before going to Pete, who was with Ae.
Can watched as Pete gave Ae a kiss and Tin gave a final wave at him.
-----
"Shit, Ai'Tin. You're really rich, aren't you?" Can said, eyes roaming around the big house. Tin had told him about his house but he never imagined it to be as grand as this.
Tin just chuckled at Can's wide-eyed expression.
"Come on, let's go watch some movies."
Can was like a kid at a candy shop. He was excited with literally everything. The big TV screen equipped with sound system, the large comfy sofa, large pillow and if Tin got a flower vase on the table, Can probably would be excited about it too. Tin just watched his friend with a smile, as Can loudly exclaimed at everything.
They watched action movie first, both of them excited with the loud sound and fast-paced actions. Their next movie is a horror movie that made Can hide behind Tin, eyes peeking at the screen in interval.
"Ai'Can, I thought you are not afraid of anything." Tin said.
"You don't mess with ghosts, Ai'Tin."
Tin chuckled at Can's words. Can stayed close to Tin until the horror movie ended.
He smells so nice. Can thought.
After about their third movie, Can's stomach grumbled, begging its owner to fill it with some food.
"Ai'Tin, I'm hungry." Can said.
"What do you want to eat? I'll order takeout."
Tin placed their order and they played games while waiting for their food to arrive.

-----
They were sitting side by side on the couch, eating their takeout food while talking and joking, the television only served as a background noise.
"You got sauce smeared on your lips." Tin said.
Can brought up his fingers to his lips and tried to clean it but somehow missed.
"Here, let me help." Tin said.
He just stared at Tin's face as he feel Tin's warm thumb swiping at the corner of his mouth. Can's heart started to beat loudly at their closeness, Tin's face were inches away from Can's face.
"There you go. All clean." Tin's voice almost startled Can.
"Thanks." Can croaked.
What the hell? Why my heart beats so fast?
Tin probably oblivious to what Can is feeling right now. Tin continues talking, probably oblivious to what Can is feeling right now.
-----
Can ran, jumped and landed on Tin's bed, bouncing a little from the impact.
"Stop doing that, Can." Tin said with an amused look on his face.
"Your bed is so nice." Can said. He splayed on the bed like a starfish, arms and legs moving as if he was making snow angel using Tin's sheets.
Tin had offered Can to stay over for the night because they watched the movies until they lost track of time and it was too late for Can to go back home.
They are lounging on Tin's bed and talked until it was really late. Tin finally told Can about his brother and family, what happened to him when he was at the US and why he had trouble trusting other people.
"But you, Can, I feel like I can trust you."Tin confessed.
"Thanks, Ai'Tin." Can smiled softly at Tin.
They continued talking until both of them fell asleep.

"Reincarnated Into My Half-Finished Isekai VRMMO Tabletop RPG" Once upon a time, there was a boy named Bull. Bull fancied himself something of a writer and game designer, and had half-created a homebrew roleplaying game for himself and some friends called Apoch’s Twilight. It was a perpetual work-in-progress, as Bull only wrote enough to fill in whatever gaps he needed to run the game for his friends. Then one day, Bull was hit by a truck. Bull should have looked both ways before crossing the street. Bull wakes up at a character creation screen, with an AI prompting him to create a character. The name of the game he’s creating a character for? Apoch’s Twilight. Say what? I plan to update weekly, give or take, while staying a couple chapters ahead for my Patrons. Thanks for reading! -- Bull
8 177So it turns out I'm tiny in another world…
After meeting with a horrible fate on an otherwise typical Martian day, Tsukino Sachiko finds herself stranded with only a surprisingly unremarkable alien for company. Join her as she battles giant monsters, strange locals, and feelings of insignificance in the hopes she might one day return to a world that makes sense. AN: This story is an attempt to overcome insecurity regarding the quality of my writing by practicing with intentional schlock. "Just write," as the advice goes. While it may not be masterfully plotted, the subject matter is one close to my heart and one that I endeavor to explore in a new light. After all, who ever heard of the fairy sidekick being an isekai protagonist? Cover image © Vanish under the terms of the CC BY-ND 2.0 license.

(Pause. Process. Reset.) Al's employer, Bram, is an expert. Probably. Relatively speaking. As a paranormal investigator, he knew a fair bit about magic.
