Their mid semester break finally over. Some were happy to be back, some was reluctant and complained. Can belongs to the former. He actually loved what he was studying and he missed his friends.

Can and Ae was eating in the canteen when Pete and Tin came to join them.

Ae smiles softly when he saw Pete.

"Sit down. I'll buy you your food, Pete." Ae offered.

Pete and Can were left alone together as Ae and Tin went and get their foods.

"I hope you don't mind I bring Tin along with me, Can." Pete said carefully, he remembered the punch in the locker room.

"I'm okay with it, Ai' Pete. Don't worry." Can said.

Ae arrived with Pete's food and a few minutes later, Tin arrived at the table with his food along with two drinks. He offered one to Can.

"Here, Can. I noticed you do not have any drinks with you so I go and get you one."

Can, never one to reject food or drink, smiled at Tin and accepted the drink.

"Thank you, na krab." Can said.

Can and Tin then proceed to talk about the video games they discussed in their recent text messages.

Ae and Pete watched their friends and looked at each other.

Since when these two are on a talking basis?

The same question lingered on both their minds. However, they decided to let it go because their friends had finally get along.

Tin and Can now can hang out together without the presence of Ae and Pete. They sometimes study together in the library and hang out after class.

"Aww, why English is so hard?" Can complained, scratching his head and mussing up his hair as well

Both of them at the library, studying together.

"It's not that hard, Can. Let me look at it." Tin said.

"Ohh you can't used these two words together but instead use this." Tin said while pointing at the wrong part and wrote his suggestion on Can's paper.

Can looked at Tin in awe.

"You are really smart, Ai' Tin."

Tin hit Can lightly on the head using his pencil.

"You can be good at English if you study hard." Tin said with amused look on his face.

Can patted the place Tin hit and pout at the other guy.

"But it's hard for me to understand. Can you teach me, Tin? The way you explain it to me, it's easier to understand. Please na, krab. I'll buy you pork skewers." Can said, puppy eyes on full effects.

"I don't even like pork skewers that much. You're the one who eat them like there's no tomorrow and I am the one who end up buying them for you." Tin said.

Tin looked at Can and finally said, "Fine, I'll teach you."

"Yay!" Can said loudly.

He was shushed by the librarian. He ducked his head and wai in apology.

Tin tried to hide his laughter.

"Thank you, Ai' Tin." Can whispered.

"Let's go for pork skewers after this. Your treat, right?" Tin said.

They are in Tin's car, on the way to Pete's apartment. The four of them planned to have dinner together but Tin needed to pick up stuff that he left at Pete's house.

"Tin, do you want to hear a joke?"

Can loved to tell jokes. However, all of the jokes were so bad that Tin sometimes get tired when he heard them.

"If I say no, you still gonna tell the joke." Tin said, eyes fixed on the road.

Can just grinned and began to tell the joke.

"Did you hear about the claustrophobic astronaut?" Can asked.

"He just needed a little space." Can continued.

Tin let out a laugh at the joke. Can's grin became wider because this is the first time Tin laughed at his joke.

"Ok I admit that one is funny." Tin said.

Can liked telling jokes to Tin, the guy need to laugh once in a while.

He really looked younger when he laugh.

They talked and joking around until they reached at Pete's apartment door. Suddenly, they heard a crash and a moan. Tin and Can looked at each other. Can's eyes were wide and Tin's brow furrowed, both of them thinking the worst possible scenario that could be happening behind the door. Probably there was an accident inside the house or worse a robbery.

"What the hell is that?" Can whispered urgently to Tin.

Tin put his finger at his lips signalling Can to be quiet. He grabbed spare key that Pete gave him in case of emergency. He just inserted the key in the lock when another moan was heard. That urged Tin to turn the lock fast and banged open the door.

However, they were not prepared with the scene displayed in front of their eyes. What they see was Ae on top of Pete, clearly both of them were having sex before Tin and Can forced their way into the apartment.

Ae practically bend Pete into half, Pete's legs thrown over Ae's shoulders. Ae panicked as he tried to cover Pete's body but he end up pushing himself further inside Pete, making Pete moan out loud. Horrified, both of them break apart and tried to cover themselves. Ae thrown himself over Pete, effectively covering Pete but bared his own ass to Tin and Can.

Well, small sacrifice, I guess. Tin thought.

Pete finally break the stunned silence between them.

"Guys, can you wait outside for a while?" Pete said with a small voice.

Tin nodded and quickly dragged a stunned Tin out.

When they were outside, Tin looked at the other boy. He can't see Can's face but he observed Can's ears were red.

"Are you embarrassed, Can?" Tin asked.

"No, I'm not" Can said, whipping his head to look at Tin.

A rosy-hued blush was obvious on the smaller guy's face.

Yup, definitely embarrassed.

Tin chuckled.

Why would he feel embarrassed? Unless...

"Are you a virgin, Can?" Tin asked.

"What?! No! I..I'm not!" Can answered a little to quickly. His blush intensified if that even possible, his cheeks going redder by the second.

Interesting.

Tin wanted to tease Can further but Ae finally opened the door, fully dressed (thank God!).

Tin and Can entered the apartment, not sitting on the couch because how could they after knowing what happened on it just a few minutes ago. Pete and Ae standing around awkwardly.

"So, did you guys finish what you started?" Tin asked.

"Ai' Tin!" Pete said, mortified. Ae clearly looked like he was praying intensely so that the ground would swallowed him up.

"Can we just agreed not to talk about this anymore?" Ae said.

All of them nodded.

"But I just have one question. Are you guys dating?" Can asked.

Tin already know about Pete and Ae but it's not like they are being private about it. It's a surprise though that Can didn't know, Pete and Ae never hide their closeness and affections.

Is he really that clueless? Tin thought.

"Yes, we are." Ae answered.

Can nodded.

"I don't have any problem with it in case you guys are wondering. It's just I don't want to watch you guys..."Can said while gesturing wildly.

"Having sex." Tin finished his friend's sentence.

"Yeah, that. What he said." Can pointed to Tin.

"Yeah, we don't want to see that again. The sight of Ae's ass is enough to give me nightmares." Tin shuddered.

"Oi asshole. My ass is better than yours." Ae said.

"You wish, shortie. Your ass shrink in fear at the presence of my ass." Tin said.

"Alright come on, let's go have dinner. And please stop talking about my boyfriend's ass." Pete said, dragging all of them out of the apartment.

Tin felt like he can finally open up to Can. He can see that the other boy is loyal to his friends and kind-hearted to others. The only person he can trust in this world is Pete but now he starting to trust and let Can into his life. Not even his family had his trust.

How could I after what happened before?

Tin also tried his best to get along with Ae. They are not close like Tin and Can but they throw insult without any of them actually being offended and that's good enough with Tin.

Pete, of course was pleased with these development and.

Tin's thought was halted when Can suddenly appeared behind his back, trying to surprise him. That never worked with Tin but Can always did it to him anyways.

It's funny that Can tried to be stealth but failed.

Tin turned around and flicked Can in the forehead.

"Stop doing that, it never works." Tin said.

"Oww, it hurts!" Can said while he hold his forehead.

Tin just rolled his eyes, getting used to Can's antics.

"Let's go to the mall. I need to buy something." Tin said.

"Ok."

Both of the just walk around the mall when Can saw his dream phone was displayed on the front of a shop.

He entered the shop, leaving Tin had to hurried after him.

"This phone is so cool!" Can said.

"Buy it then." Tin said.

"I can't afford this. It's so expensive." Can looked at incredulously.

"Do you want me to buy it for you?"

Tin can practically saw Can's hackles started to raise as it often does when money was involved.

"Do you want me to throw this phone at your face?" Can said.

"Stop being so violent, Can. I'm just asking."

He can see Can calm down a bit.

"It's ok. I'm still saving my money to buy this phone." Can said.

"Why don't you used your wish for this phone?"

"Nah, I don't want to used it for something that temporary. It will be a waste, don't you think? Eh hold on, na. I need to go to the toilet." Can said, smiling a little.

Tin just watched his friend go until he was out of sight. He called out for the shop assistant and pointed to the phone Can wanted.

"I want to buy this phone." he said.

Can done going to the toilet and he saw Tin with two guys. The guys left Tin and passed Can.

"I don't know why we bother to talk to him. He's so arrogant." one of the guy said to his friend.

"Yeah, there's nothing special about him. Just a drug-addict celebrity."his friend said.

Can saw red because these guys just insulted his friend.

"Hey! What the hell you guys called my friend?! Do you guys want to get punch?" Can yelled, his fist balled up ready to throw a punch.

Tin jogged towards Can and held the guy so that he did not do anything stupid.

"Come on, Can. Let's just go." Tin said.

"But--"

Tin just gave a pleading look and Can just let himself be dragged by Tin. They stopped and entered Tin's favorite cafe.

"What are they talking about, Tin? They called you a drug-addict celebrity." Can asked.

"Do you believe them, Can?"

"If I do, I will not ask you about this."

"I...I don't think I want to talk about this yet. But I will someday." Tin said.

"It's alright. Tell me when you are ready, na."

Tin nodded. He held up a black paper bag to Can.

"Here, for you."

Can didn't noticed it before as he was too occupied with the other two guys. He opened the bag, his eyes wide as he saw what's in the bag.

"Tin! What the hell?! I said you don't have to." Can said.

"Just take it, Can. You can pay me back later." Tin said.

Can frowned at Tin.

"I'll definitely pay you back." Can said.

Tin nodded. Can started to smile at Tin.

"You're something else, Ai' Tin."
