"Arghhh that stupid jerk. Who the hell he thinks he is?" Can complained loudly as he tossed his bag at the corner of his room. That resulted in a loud bang as his bag hit the bedside table and causing a few of his stuffs to fall down.
That made Can more angry as if the mess was also caused by Tin. Well, that is partially true. At Can's state of mind, the global warming might as well be Tin's fault.
Can plopped his body on the bed. He started to play all the situation he get himself into whenever he bumped into the tall guy.
Am I overreacting when I punched him?
Can shook his head.
Nah, he probably deserved it. I might had done a service to the public by punching him.
But he felt slightly guilty for doing that to the guy. His parents probably never even hit him.
Can blamed his own mother for raising him to be a good person.
Can screamed into his pillow, trying to muffle the noise. Clearly it did not work caused his sister shouted at him to shut up.
"P'Can, why are you so noisy?! I'm trying to watch my drama."
Ley continued her shouting as she whined to their mother.
Can groaned into his pillow.
"Yeah, definitely his fault." Can complained to no one in particular.
-----
Tin sprawled on a couch at Pete's apartment, one of his legs dangling freely.
Pete came from the kitchen and holding a pack of ice to Tin.
Tin accepted it and gingerly trying to put it on the bruise around his right cheekbone that started to bloom. He winced as he felt a sharp sting shooting across the right side of his face.
"What do you say to him that made him punch you?" Pete asked.
"What makes you think I'm the one who started it?"
"We are friends since we were kids. I know you very well Tin."
Tin just huffed, clearly did not want to talk about it. He knew if he told Pete what happened, he's the one Pete going to blame. He knew what he do was rude but he just simply cannot trust anyone.

"I really hope you can get along with Ae and his friends, you know." Pete said softly.
"Why on Earth I should do that?" Tin asked incredulously.
"I really like Ae and at the same time I want to keep my best friend."
"What is it with you and that guy? Are you guys dating?"
A blush slowly creeped on Pete's face but he just remained silent.
"If you want to date a guy, why don't you just date me instead? We are a better match. We both come from same background and we are friends since we were little."
"I don't like you like that, Tin. And I know you feel the same way about it." Pete said.
"What do you like about that guy anyways?"
"Well, Ae make me feel things I never felt before. I'm so happy everytime I'm with him and I miss him terribly when I'm not with him." Pete said, a smile appearing on his face when he talked about the engineering student.
Tin just looked at Pete, searching his friend's face.
He really is happy, isn't him?
"Fine, but I still don't trust him."
Pete gave a small smile to Tin. He knew it will be hard for Tin to accept other people in his life but he will warm up to Ae and his friends eventually. Pete really believed that.
"Thank you, Ai'Tin."
------
Two weeks later
"Arghhh, I'm going to fail this test, Ai'Good. It's so hard!" Can groaned as their teacher finished collecting their test paper.
They just finished their exam before the mid semester break. Can really can't wait, he had plans this break. He gonna spent it sleeping or playing games all day.
His phone gave a single ding, indicating a new message had arrived in his inbox.
"Ai'Good, do you want to go to the cinema after this?" Can asked his best friend.
"No. I..need..to..go..home." Can answered slowly.
"Oh okay. Text me if you are bored during the break" Can said.

Good nodded. He picked up his bag and left the classroom, waving at Can before he got out of the room.
------
Can arrived first at the cinema. While he was browsing on which movie to watch, his phone received another message from Ae.
Can frowned.
Pete's friend? Don't tell me, it's him?
If it's him, Can seriously going to cancel and just go home before they arrived.
Can just started replying to Ae's text when he heard someone calling out his name.
He looked up and saw Ae and Pete in a distance. He looked to their right.
Of course it's him.
Can groaned internally.
"Hey Ae, Pete" Can said. He just glanced at Tin.
"Have you been waiting long, Can? Sorry na, we are a bit late." Ae said.
"Not at all."
"Ai'Tin, why don't you go and buy the tickets with Ai'Can. Ae and I will buy the popcorns and drinks." Pete said.
Can was about to protest when Tin finally open his mouth, "What movie you guys want to watch?"
"Any movie is fine. You guys just pick whatever movie you like."
Tin nodded and started to make his way to the ticket counters, leaving Can. Ae and Pete went to the popcorn counter while Can jogged lightly to catch up with the taller boy.
They waited in silence as the queue was quite long.
"What movie you want to watch?" Tin suddenly asked.
His question startled Can. It was the first time that a non-insult coming from Tin's mouth and it caught Can off guard. He was sure the guy will try to pick a fight regardless the situation.
Is he really talking to me?
He looked to his left to see an expectant look from Tin.
He IS talking to me.
Can get over his initial surprise and answered the question, "I want to watch that movie." He pointed to the latest family movie.
"What are you? A six years old?"Tin said.
Omph, there it is.
"You're the one who asked me what I want to watch. If you don't like it, you choose."
They arrived at the counter. Can expected Tin to buy tickets for different movie than what he choose. Can had his second surprise of the day when Tin bought the tickets for the movie that Can had suggested.
Can just looked at Tin. Tin ignored him and made his way back to the rest of the group.
-----
Tin stared at the small boy sitting next to him. He initially was surprised why Ae had bought one whole popcorn just for Can. Now he understands.
How on Earth he can eat that all by himself?!
Can noticed Tin staring at him. He picked up his popcorn slightly and offered it to Tin. Tin just picked a few from the bucket and he directed back his attention to the movie.
Who would have thought Can had choose the movie that Tin wanted to watch?
The movie was about to end and it came to the sad scene between the main lead and the best friend. Tin suddenly heard a sniffle next to him. When he looked to his right, he saw Can had tears running down his cheeks, eyes focused on the screen and his buttery hand had paused from shovelling the popcorn into his mouth.
He looked kinda cute, crying at some kids' movie.
What the hell, Tin? Not cute whatsoever.
They said their goodbye after the movie ended at the entrance of the cinema. Tin left first as he need to buy something at the shop nearby. Can can't wait to begin his break, at least he don't have to meet or deal with Tin for awhile.
