Can was shocked when he heard Tin's voice. But because he was already weak enough to make an argument to Becca. He had no choice but to talk to Tin in the other line.
"You called??? You never want me to call you but here you are now! What happen to you?? Where have you been??" due to Tin's longing for the nameless stranger. He got excited and spill out those words continuously.

"Let's just stop talking.." Can trying to be straightforward but he stops as he almost chokes his words.
Tin didn't process those. "Wait what??"
"You won't see me anyways.. so now I am taking my chance to finally confess to you..."
Biting his lower lip and take a deep breath.
"I love you Tin" then he hung it up without waiting for the other line to speak up.
