《WE {TINCAN ff}》Tonight - III

The night felt boring, uninteresting and totally useless without Can. The girls beside him were squealing every now and then to dance with him but Tin showed no interest whatsoever. His boyfriend just went missing without telling him. He texted Can every now and then, he glanced his wrist watched every time, even the thousand messages he had sent had no response.

He and Pete had a bit chit chat about going on a trip with their friends before, but Tin only insisted to go if Can wished. As him being a homey person, totally opposite of his extroverted boyfriend, had no wish to go out but spend the holiday with his lover.

Here he stood with his boring expression waiting for his man. Maybe he had gone to the bathroom? Or did he forgot something? He had had enough. Time was flying though very swiftly for him, it was only eight in the evening but since it was winter, it made it look like midnight. The lights were the only thing which made this place look romantic.

The notification sound was the only thing that made Tin stop dreaming. The white screen was too bright that made the text very much clear to read. Frowning he opened it, after so many texts Can cared to respond now,

Can: Come at this address asap please. Address- XXXX

That's weird. Thought Tin, he never responded quite serious in a text. Without a second thought he bid Pete and hurried towards his car at the parking lot, he knew it. Something's wrong. He knew that something's isn't right. He shut off the music in anger as it didn't made any special. His legs tapped in hurry at the traffic, and it didn't distracted him. Without a second thought, he knew that Can desperately needed him.

As soon as he stepped out the fine particles of sand stuck the edge of this polished shoes. He searched desperately for a small narrow body with pink suit. His dragon eyes had gone through every corner but only saw a man in total black attire. Man noticed Tin and waved in hurry, gritting his teeth he called him, waving his hand furiously.

Tin felt to refuse at first but his mind was desperate for a ray of hope, he left and ran to this person of whom he had no information of, why should he be possibly running to an unknown person of whom he was unaware of? He only needed Can. Minutes without him felt forever. As he got closer the person's face got clearer, he saw a body lying unconscious beside him. Man was trying desperately to wake him up. Tin saw him pressing his hands hard on the poor body's chest from afar, the more he got closer, Can's face got clearer-

'What on earth do you think you're doing!' Tin screamed at Man's face, pushing him with so much force which made him stumble and cause his ankle to crack.

'Get off him!' Tin got over Can, examining his pale face, tears were forming already in Tin's eyes helplessly. He bent towards his face to check his breathing. Thankfully he was alive.

'Who the fuck are you?' Tin grabbed the collar of Man's shirt, ready to punch. 'For what did you do this?' Tin finally punched. Hard.

'W-wait you!' Man struggled to speak through the gritting teeth caused by the cold, 'Let me explain!'

'No you sonofabitch! What the fuck do you want?' Tin kept punching constantly. Blood drops were already on his shirt of that scarred latter.

'NO WAIT!' Man had had enough, he punched Tin which made him stumble and fall on his back, breathing heavily he got up, wiped the blood formed on his lips, and begun.

'Let that boy wake up, I'll explain shortly..' He took and long breath, his hand in his chest, calming himself. He waited for Tin to speak up. It wasn't long till he did.

'W-what have you done to him?' Tin's lip twitched to ask, hoping that this man wasn't the person who did this horrible thing.

'Listen boy, I don't want to come off as rude but your boyfriend's life is far more worth than yours I guess? If that's what you think. I'll explain later, but be calm, please.' Man almost begged. He had never begged to anyone for anyone. But this moment made him do something right. Something worthy. He knew that two innocent lives didn't deserve such fate destroyed by a horrible person. His job had mostly been around killing people or bribing them into bad. But this was different. He had became different.

'Okay...' whispered Tin, which wasn't audible to Man at all. He didn't gave a second thought and placed Can's head on his hard, numb lap. Caressing his hair he hoped Can to wake up, afraid that the other person might hear him as to make him sound weak. He let his tears fall, his hands were very tired to wipe them, they were only busy to caress Can's soft hair.

Man glanced at Tin and got over Can, pressed hard more on his chest. Water spilled out from the latter's mouth and murmuring was heard. Tin was busy placing his lover's body in a comfortable position as to make sure not hurt him.

'Be gentle,' Tin spoke as his tear fell sliding down his cheek to his neck,' I don't want to carry him around like this.' Man glanced at his watch over and over making Tin question but not asking. He had had enough with the night his lover almost dying. Staying with a innocent man had made Tin very soft and open. He could express and more possibly feel at home. Knowing that that person might forever leave him scared him to death. He didn't cared that his surname was 'Medthanan'. Nor did he cared that this news might be headlines on the TV. Nor did he cared how his parent might react, he only cared about Can.

'Fuuuckkk...' Can gritted his teeth and murmured, 'So damn fucking cold..' His eyes flickered at the sound of tears dropping from Tin's eyes. He fully opened them, his hand reaching out for Tin, his cheek and wiping them for first.

'My body hurts..' Can whispered. Man got closer and spoke rather hurriedly, 'Get up, things are not good, we need to get going.' Can tilted his head to see a scarred man, his eyes slightly filled in tears, perfectly seen in the moonlight. Man glanced at his watch, wiping his tears. Can had just saw him naked, he just saw his emotions which he never dared to show. That was his greatest fear. Letting people know him, his emotions.

'It's late..' Man begun, standing up. 'It's one, we need to get going now. Or else he will know where I'm up to. Follow me. Fast.'

'No you! Not until you tell me why you brought me here and why I saw Tul Medthanan's face before drowning completely! Tin don't trust him!' Can yelled with the outmost energy he could all gather up. Tin widened his eyes. Tul? Here? How? His body was already very numb to ask questions.

'Can...' Tin whispered. He was at fault. He should've thought better, it was all because of him. He should've took better care of Can. His mind was blank, not a single thought was coming through. His body felt warm. Though cold hands were felt behind his shoulders but he felt warm. Can hugged Tin knowing what he must've been thinking. Can wanted to tell Tin he wasn't at fault. Not at all. But this wasn't the time to discuss. He wanted answers. He wanted to escape and take care of his boyfriend. Being with problems was totally not him.

'Okay then...' Man again glanced at his watch, nodded in agreement and begun. 'Tul Medthanan was the one who wanted Can dead, wanted you to be gone for good and left alone, also devastated if I must dare to say-' Tin couldn't believe his ears, what went wrong that he deserved such treatment? 'He had planned this for months, waiting for the perfect opportunity to destroy you, manipulate you, control you, and also if desired, then shoo you away..

He got the opportunity, snatched it, got me, I spied and now he's failed. How?'- Man started as he saw the confused faces of the two boys-'Well, I decided not to obey him, yes, I did gave him information about your whereabouts, but I hate him, I changed my path, I'm saving your asses.'

'I don't trust you,' Can got up, tears falling down swiftly, his hand wiping and while sobbing he spoke, 'You spied for his fucking stupid brother and why do you think we must believe you? You almost killed me, now saved me. Who knows you might stab us later?'

'Believe me, please..' Man just let the few words flew out of his mouth, but his eyes spoke a thousand words. Can felt speechless. Tin didn't spoke anything until then, 'I think we can trust him, Can.' Can turned around, his eyes in total disbelief, losing Tin was the thing that scare him the most. He didn't want to believe a person who almost took his life and have a chance to take his boyfriend's too. No that's bad, Can thought. For Can, Tin's life was the hardest he could ever imagine, and for Tin, he wanted to become Can.

Can sniffled and nodded, he faced up towards Man's face, if that's what Tin wants, he would want that too. Tin knew better. He was smarter and much cleverer than Can. But Can had much more wisdom than Tin. That was for sure.

'What do you want us to do now? Can we go home?' Can spoke as Man was trying not to whine in his ankle pain which was caused by none other than Tin's push. 'We can't go to your flat, that's where he must be now. We need to think of a place where he can't come even if he wants to. Like its not welcome for him and he's helpless but not come even if he wants to.'

'That describes my Mum's house,' Can spoke up suddenly at Man's description. 'She can let us in. She wouldn't mind anyone. If that bastard would come there, he would be beaten to pulp.'

'No, no..' Tin whispered. Breathing heavily though as the heaviest object is dropped on his heart. 'It's too much trouble for you.'

'Trouble for me? Tin we're in the middle of a situation here. I don't wanna fight right now debating where we're going or not!' Can snapped back, signaled Man to give back his snatched phone and once it dropped on his hand he dialed his mother's number, ignoring Tin. He waited for her to pick it up. It was midnight and she was asleep and too early to explain everything.

Man sat down on the sand as he couldn't bear the pain in his ankle anymore. He was watching the couple closely, getting that these boys in their early twenties have more understanding than married couples in their 25th anniversary.

The other line I the phone seemed to be have woken up at last. Can stood and got farther from where Tin was still sitting to recover from his shock. Man gave out a sigh and sat beside him. 'He really loves you, you know?'

'I know..,' Tin paused to wipe his tears still streaming down his face, 'But I don't want to lose him.'

'That's touching but things don't always go the way we want them to. We don't have much time, you need a place to hide. I doubt that you can stay at Can's place because your brother will probably get to know. And you can't go to your place because that's where he is at the moment.' Man explained to let the information sink into Tin's head again.

'And what about you? Why are you helping us? Isn't he asking for you?'

'I really doubt that, I've done enough to make him trust me. And about the help, let's say I changed my mind, as simple as that.'

Tin stared at Man, confused. If this person had changed his mind to help them, he could change his mind to help Tul too. Tin had had a old fight with belief, he couldn't trust people . But something inside him made him.

Tin's attention went towards Can who came back shivering after the phone call. He stood before the two men sitting leaving a gap of one meter. His face was a bit satisfying to watch, 'My mother has no problem, she's allowing us to stay as long as we want. But I have no idea what to do later. Shall we go and punch that fucker?'

'No you have to go away far somewhere tomorrow asap if you want to work out his out .' Man said in a serious tone after looking at a text on his phone.
