《(TinCan) I Hate U.》visit Akito

Kira - (looked at Tin) Why is that my father wants to see you and not me?
Can - he probably wants to curse us face to face.
Can answered before Tin could. Kira glared at him.
Kira - I'm not talking to you.
Can - (walked in front to block Tin from Kira.) Then who are you talking to?
Kira - (getting pissed) you bastard!
Tin - Shhh. Guys, this is the police station, just stop. (Pushed Can aside.)
Kira - (looked at Tin) Tin, my father only requested to see you, not this guy. (Pointed angrily at Can without looking at him) what is he doing here?
Can - I should be asking you the same thing. Your father doesn't even want to see you. Why are you here?
Kira was about to attack back but Tin beat him to it.
Tin - Can. (Stared at him in the eyes and shook his head to tell him to stop.)
Can sighed heavily and stop the intimacy as Kira looked away angrily.
The officer called out Tin's and Can's names so they could go visit Akito in the visiting room. Kira was kind of shock that Can's name was called.
Can stood up and followed Tin but stopped his steps and turned back to Kira.
Can - I think you should go find some fun time instead of waiting here to see your father like this. I'm telling you this because it's not worth it. He doesn't want to see you. On your behalf, please act like you have some pride a little.
Kira says nothing but just glared at Can who stepped inside the door and followed Tin from behind.
They went inside a dark room and across from them on the other side of the glass, was Akito, sitting and waiting patiently.

As much as Tin wanted to see Akito in jail like this, he's still couldn't help it but feel uneasy. Akito seems far more dangerous than any man in the world and who knows who he could have his back any time whenever he needs it. It feels like even prison can't stop him.
As Tin and Can sat down across from him, Akito grimaced.
Tin - you requested a visit for the both of us; here we are.
Akito - I never would have thought that I will be having this day. You two really surprised me. I got to say, Tin. You are a very good rival. I have more superior rivals than you but no one could have taken me down. You just never give up, huh?
Can have never met Akito before but seeing him face to face, he is the exact image Can thought he would be, cruel and stubbornness, but deep down lies a secret, reminds him of Tin's father.
Tin - I have given up my whole life. It's time for me to step up for what's right.
Can glanced at Tin and back at Akito.
Tin - Mr. Alito. (Said it without looking at Akito.) Stop now. It'll be best for you.
Can looked at Tin again and again. He doesn't get what Tin was getting at. What does he want Akito to stop?
Akito smiled with his teeth shown, impressed that Tin could see right through him.
Akito - oh? You knew, huh?
Tin - I assumed. I know you have an alliance.
Can gawked in disbelief. This Akito man here is planning to get out? How in the world? No wonder he is just so happy the moment Can step foot in here.

Akito - you can't really stop me you know. Once I get out of here--
Can - To do what? (interrupted Akito) how many more lives are you trying to ruin?
Akito's eyes moved to Can with a wicked smile.
Akito - you… (stared deeply into Can) you're Can, right? I don't know where the hell you came from but you had caught my interest. You and your bodyguards just came out of nowhere and ruined my plans. I've never wanted to kill someone so much in my whole life but you… because of you, I thought if I get rid of you, my mission will be complete. Because of you I made a foolish decision and ended up here. (Laughed) oh well, mistake comes and go. Once I get out of here I'm going to redeem it from it all. Just you wait.
Can's cold gaze fixed on the confidential middle-aged man. This man wanted to frame him. He wanted to get rid of him.
Then Can finally got it. Something sparked in Can's eyes and made Akito frowned from smirking.
Can - (raised an eyebrow) you seem to be optimistic about getting out of there. You must rely on your alliance a lot then.
Akito smirked again.
Can - All your people were already captured. Some fled but I'm pretty sure they fled for good. Who could be your alliance then? Kira? (Shook his head) No… your wife? Hmm...could be? Or maybe… a spy.
It looks like Akito's soul flew out of his body. The look on his face gave a startled gaze at Can and he almost sat up from his seat.

A (Not So) Simple Fetch Quest
Oh great hero! The evil Demon Lord has once again arisen to terrorise our lands, and we have summoned you to save our people! No, we don't want you to fight the demon lord! Of course not; we're the good guys! What sort of good guys kidnap people from other worlds and force them to take part in wars that have nothing to do with them? That would just be plain evil! We'd be no better than the demons! Katie, after her summoning by an excessively loud mage suddenly takes an unexpected twist, is sent off on a simple fetch quest, with a promise that she'll be back home in five minutes at most. She doesn't even need to leave the building. Alas, when a goddess' blessing causes her wish for an actual adventure to be taken rather more literally than she expected, she finds herself lost in a dark cave, far away from the sword she was supposed to acquire and far too close to a population of giant bugs. Still, at least she wished her life wasn't in any danger. Among other things. Be careful what you wish for. You might just get it. This is a dark litRPG adventure, both in terms of Katie accidentally wishing all the lights out, and also in that she loses as often as she wins, often with horrific and disturbing consequences. Luckily, Katie isn’t the sort of person to let a mere grizzly death or two get her down, and is prepared to try, try and try again to get her hands on the holy sword and finally complete her ‘simple’ fetch quest. Or perhaps—with a few resistance skills under her nightie—she might even come to enjoy losing. Not that she’d ever consider forgoing revenge, even if she did. I’ve ticked all the content warning checkboxes for this one. There’s no explicit sexual content, but there are enough references to justify the warning. Profanity happens rarely, but Katie isn’t averse to swearing when she gets particularly angry. As for gore/trauma, it doesn’t get much worse than the first few chapters, but there will be occasional chapters that have extra content warnings.

Tower of Somnus
When humanity first encountered alien life, we were judged and found wanting. The Galactic Consensus interviewed our leaders and subjected us to a battery of psychological tests to determine our progress as a society. They found us to be selfish, wasteful, impulsive, and boorish neighbors. Earth was blockaded and our collective encounter with our extrasolar neighbors rapidly faded from memory. All they left behind was a hypercomm relay and a handful of subscriptions to a massively multiplayer game that participants played in their sleep. The Consensus said that it would let us interact with our neighbors in a controlled setting. That it would teach us to be better members of the galactic community. The megacorporations that controlled Earth ignored the game until they learned that the powers earned from clearing dungeons were just as real when day broke. Magic, supernatural abilities and rumors exploded from nothing and a subscription to The Tower of Somnus became a status symbol. Katherine ‘Kat’ Debs doesn’t have much, but it could be worse. Born in an arcology, she was assigned a job in the megacorporation that raised her almost as soon as she could work. Despite the stability of her corporate life, she wanted something more. A chance to claw her way up the rigid social and financial ladder to make something of herself. A chance that wouldn’t come naturally to someone as familiar with dark alleyways and the glint of steel as she was with office work and corporate niceties.Book One is up on Kindle Unlimited as of 7/6/22 - https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B0B2X3L8H5

This is a strange idea I had after watching Jurassic World and then watching Monster Musume no Iru Nichijo (Everyday Life with Monster Girls).
