Tin and Can were sitting in the kitchen, drinking water because Tin doesn't have any coffee.

Tin - Kira's father, his name is Akito Akane. He's the richest mafia here in Chiang Mai. Everyone here fears him, even Kira too. I have come to realize that Akito was trying to frame the fire on you, Can.

Can - (gaped at Tin with shocking eyes.) frame me?

Tin - (nodded) because of you, he couldn't get near the kids at the shelter, so he captured Dr. Lex's five years old son. He knew that I'm soft with kids, so he was about to use that method to have me sign the paper. Once I knew about this, I told Dr. Lex I will go and switch places with his son, so he shouldn't worry. I had no idea that Akito was trying to frame you as well. But there was a mistake, one of his people got caught in the fire and die. Akito was afraid that this incident might lead him to jail, so he told Dr. Lex to take the blame or else he will kill his five years old son. Therefore, I was working with a detective all alone and gathered every segment in order to frame him. Last night I got a call from the detective who I was working with. We found the place where they keep the children hidden. I couldn't get them out but I managed to get Dr. Lex's son out of there.

Can - children? (clenched his fist so hard the whiteness appeared.) You mean, he kidnapped children? For what?

Tin paused, not sure if he should tell Can or not.

Can - tell me.

Tin - to sell them.

Can could feel his heart burning like fire, like a light bulb that was about to explode from getting too hot. He stood up angrily right when Tin caught hold of his wrist.

Tin - calm down.

Can - I can't! We have to do something NOW!

Tin - I got it. Everything is under control.

Can - you! (Sat back down again and this time, he was gripping Tin.) Hurg Tin, please don't leave me out of this.

Tin - (shook his head) I'm not leaving you out; I'm just protecting you.

Can - (not agreeing) Tin, if you die--

Tin - I'm not going to die. (Chuckle) in fact, I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying right here with you.

Can - (confused) what?

Tin - I already turned in all the evidence I have to the police. I'm sure it will be enough for an arrest warrant on Akito. They probably make a move now.

This brings a smile to Can's face.

Can - really? Wow Tin, you're such a quick-witted. (Realized something.) But the kids... they might be in danger.

Tin - (smiled) Last night while you were sleeping, the detective called me. He informed me that the children are safe and sound. FBI did a surprise attack and got the children out.

Can - (sighed in relief.) Man, you got me worried for no reason, Tin.

Tin - (laughed) believe me, I was worse than you when I know about the business Akito was doing. I couldn't stay put, I was held in detention in jail for 2 days.

Can - I can't blame you. Cops and FBI whatever they are, they are nothing but a bunch of cowards. They can't do anything but blame the innocent people, really pisses me off. But something is off... do Kira know about this?

Tin frowned and nodded

Tin - but he can't really do anything because if he tries then Akito will kill his mom.

Can - what? Is his mom being a hostage or something?

Tin - (shook his head) they are family, they live together.

Can - then why couldn't Kira just take his mother away? How hard can that be?

Can raised his voice a little because he wasn't going to put up with such a lame excuse Kira is using. There has to be something else that Kira want and Can couldn't help it but think it might be Tin, himself.

Tin - His mother is the one who refuses to go. She is so in love with Akito she wants nothing but to stay by his side, even though it means death.

Can shook his head in skepticism. No wonder Tin said Kira is a lot similar to him because their families are so much alike: crazy and weird.

Tin - (stood up from his chair) well, but I guess the suffering will end soon. Don't you think?

Can nodded. The police are already on the mission of arresting Akito. If Akito doesn't cooperate, who knows what else is going to happen?
