Larry was sitting in the corner when one of the officers opened the door.

Officer - Larry, you have a visitor.

Larry walked into the dark room where there was a glass window separated the room from another room. He sat down on a chair right in front of the glass and wondering who could his visitor be. Whoever it be will not surprise Larry because the only people that visit him are his mother and stepfather.

The door from the other side of the door opened and someone walked in. Larry's lazy eyes moved to the person and suddenly, he shot up from his chair. His eyes shook in disbelief as he watched the person sat down in front of him on the other side.

He was Can.

Can - sit down, Larry.

Larry just stood there, mouth hung open in awe. He couldn't believe the person sitting in across from him will be Can. He was the person who Larry thought was dead. The person who he accidentally killed.

Can felt the fire of satisfaction seeing Larry like this. It was the face which he was long to see.

Can - so are you just gonna stand?

Larry - (rubbed his eyes to make sure that he was not seeing things) C...Can? Is that really you? You didn't die? What about Tin? Is he here too? What happened? Why--? (Choked with tears) what? I don't get it. I thought you were dead.

Can tighten his fists as his blood boiled. He hated it when Larry asked for Tin. He was the one who started everything. If it wasn't for him, Tin will still be here with Can.

Can - Are you disappointed that I'm not dead?

Larry shook his head quickly, wanting Can to know that he wasn't trying to kill him.

Larry - no... did dad tell you about what happened? About me? About the gangsters? It was all a misunderstanding. You have got to believe me! I wasn't trying to kill you!

Can - (winced his eyes at Larry.) Did you just say...dad? Did you call my dad your dad? (Scoffed) wow... you change for the past few weeks.

Larry - (lowered his eyes) I know I have no right to call him 'dad, ' but...I...

Can - but what? (Folded his arm) Do you think if you call him dad, you will be forgiven?

Larry looked back at Can with hurtful eyes.

Can - all the times my father was trying to win your heart, you threw him trash words, words that weren't even true. You started rumors all around, rumors about my father married for wealth. Do you have any shame at all?

Larry sat down nervously.

Larry - What do you want me to do?

Can stared at Larry unbelievable. Although Larry was trying so hard to make it up to Can through his emotions, Can couldn't help it but hates his guts.

Can - At least say that you are sorry, You idiot!

Larry - I'm sorry.

Can - not to me! To my dad!

Larry - (jumped at Can's loudness) okay, when I see him again, I will. But... I want to apologize to you too, Can... For everything.

Can rolled his eyes and stood up. It made Larry also got up from his seat.

Larry - wait Can, where are you going?

Can just gave him a hateful look and made his way to the door.

Larry - (eyed Can) we still have time! Visiting time is not over yet. Come back, Can! I still have a lot to ask you!

Can stopped at the door. He didn't turn back to Larry.

Can - (scoffed) I don't want to talk to you anymore.

Larry - then when will you visit me again?

Can - even though you're getting discharged next week, you won't be getting any answers from me.

Larry's eyes widen in shock. If he is getting a discharge, then that means Tin is not dead.

Larry - really? But I want to see Tin now. Can he visit me?

Can sway back to Larry with brutality. He gave Larry a warning glare.

Can - no, I won't let you see him. He doesn't need to see a person like you. In fact, you don't even have the rights to mention his name.

Then Can walked out angrily.

Mr. Fah was waiting for Can at the waiting room. When Can walked out, his father knew that his son was not happy.

Mr. Fah - Can, Larry....he...

Can - I know what you are going to say, dad.

His dad stared deeply at his son.

Can - you're gonna say, "he's been through enough and I should forgive him," right?

His dad quickly lowered his gaze as guilt shown all over his face.

Can's heart started to go wild. He loves his father to death but sometimes he feels like he doesn't receive the same love back and it pains him for that.

Can - what can I do? My own father forgave his son's murderer even when he thought that his son was killed. With that being done, what else do you think I am supposed to do about that?

That shut Mr. Fah for good. He didn't want to make his son feel like he's been using him for granted, but he failed to prevent it from happening. Of course, he loves his son more than anything, but he portrays it as if he cares for others more than he cares for his own child. And it ached him to see him being the one who hurt his own son.

Can walked back to the car. Other than his friends, he doesn't know who he came back for any more. Now...he finally gets it why Tin decided to choose his own path. For now on, it is decided that he is going to focus on only himself and find his only goal.
