The next day on campus, Pete and Ae noticed Can wasn't himself. His mind seemed to be elsewhere and he kept daydreaming. They were walking through the hallway when Can almost hit his head on one of the lockers that were opened.

Ae - (pulled Can over to him to avoid being hit.) Dude, be careful!

Pete - Can, are you okay? You've been really really weird today.

Can - (shook his head.) Just tire. I was working till midnight.

Ae - you always work late but you're never THIS tire. You need some time off. It's not good for you to overwork yourself. You really need to rest...

Ae was still talking but Can wasn't even listening. In fact, early this morning he didn't get any sleep because he can't seem to stop thinking about Tin.

(Tin - then...will you be my friend once again?)

Tin's voice kept repeating over and over Can's head. Was Tin joking or what? Can thought, because he looked so serious and plus the fact that he did shed some tears. Did Tin actually feel guilty from what happened to their friendship?

Ae - Can!

Can startled at the voice of Ae.

Can - y-yes?

Ae - are you even listening?

Can - err...

Pete - you're too tired, maybe you should go home and I'll let you copy the notes I take in physic class.

Can - (shook his head) I'm fine. I'm not tired.

Pete and Ae stopped walking.

Pete - Really? Then where are you going?

Can stopped walking just in time before he hit the wall. He looked kind of dumbfounded by standing so close to a dead-end wall. He looked for Ae and Pete who was standing behind him, looking at him.

Ae - if Can think that he could walk through the wall you should let him try, ai Pete.

Pete laid a soft punched on Ae's shoulder as Ae reacted to it with a cute chuckle.

Pete - that's mean!

Can finally realized that he should listen to his friends. He did feel tired due to the lack of sleep.

Lunch Hour

Larry found Tin on the bench again so he went to sit next to him.

Larry - it seems like you couldn't stay away from this field.

Tin - I like to sit here. You got a problem with that?

Larry - no. It just that you usually hang out with me and the others on the rooftop.

Tin - it's too windy up there.

Larry - your father called me last night. where were you?

Tin looked away. He didn't want to answer.

Larry - you always go home on time but now you changed. I wonder why?

Tin - I just wanted to ease my mind.

Larry bit his lips as anger flooded through his veins.

Larry - was that the only reason? I think there's something else.

Tin could feel Larry's eyes on him but he didn't bother to return eye contact.

Tin - I know what you're thinking. It's not because of Can. He's nothing to me.

Larry's face was now red and his jaw clenched. His breathing got heavier.

Larry - really? Humph, you didn't have to lie. I'm not stupid. In your eyes, there's only Can in it.

Tin finally shot Larry a glance but barely move his face.
