Code: (U/M): University Major

Gulp.

I swallowed thickly, my eyes locked in Hoseok's bright ones, what was I to say to him? And why would he ask me that anyway? Staring at him, I couldn't help but lower my gaze before I let out a cough.

"Honestly, I don't really know..." I stated, shame lacing my every word, there was no shame in that, and yet I couldn't help the tone of my statement.

Looking up to meet his eyes once more, I was both shocked and relieved to see that his expression wasn't one of sorrow or anger, but it was an expression of... relief? Happiness? Somewhere in between.

He let out a light laugh before he pulled back and I pushed myself off of the wall, looking at him quizzically, why did he look so happy? I didn't bother asking, but I did scoff which caught his attention, even so, his smile didn't really leave his lips.

"I knew it." He declared, and my eyebrows furrowed. If he knew it, why would he ask me? Apparently, that question was written all over my face, considering he looked me straight in the eye and grinned.

"I asked you to be sure, I might have suspicions but I don't know everything." He stated and I couldn't help but huff once more as I crossed my arms.

"I'm going to go get my book bag, we should probably head out now if we wanna find a bus," I informed and he looked at me with an arched brow, expressing his amusement.

"Do you really want to take the bus, (Y/N)?" He questioned and I shrugged my shoulders, "Do I have a choice?"

"Well, we do have a limo," He informed as he eyed me, chuckling at my shock.

Did he just... Did he just say limo?

I was still swallowing the info he gave me when he grabbed my hand, holding onto it tightly.

"Come on, my little ignorant, let's go get your book bag and head down to the garage." He declared and I frowned at the nickname.

"Ignorant?!" I repeated and he chuckled, "Little ignorant." He corrected and I groaned. I had an even harder time believing they were vampires.

After retrieving my backpack from my room, Hoseok and I headed down to the garage where he easily opened the large doors, and he revealed the car; and damn, was it a good looking car. It was a 2002 Traditional Limousine in slick black, it looked vintage, and I suppose that's what created its charm. I looked around it and Hoseok just stood there, staring at me.

I wasted no time opening the car's hood and taking a good look at its composites; Hoseok soon joined me.

"Interested in Mechanics, I see." He observed and I turned to him, "Not really, just curious."

"Is that so?" He asked and I nodded, my eyes focusing on the crankshaft, it seemed a bit overused, and I wondered if that were a problem, its duty was to actually turn the linear motion into rotational motion, in other meanings, move the wheels and therefore move the car -After the car burnt the gasoline of course- so there was a possibility for the car to not move at all if it got old; I decided against telling Hoseok though, after all, only one crankpin journal was rusted, I'd just tell him later though.

As my eyes focused on the different metal parts of the engine, I didn't notice Hoseok's eyes on me, hell, I didn't even feel his intense stare. Contrary to how I was during dinner, right now, I was completely absorbed in figuring out if this car was similar to others, and I couldn't feel how he was looking, staring, admiring. I couldn't see the obscene longing in his eyes, I couldn't see the sorrow in them, I couldn't see the heartbreak in them. Hell, even if I had, I wouldn't have known what it was about.

Hoseok, despite my lack of attention, kept on staring, his eyes heavy with emotion and his brain playing out various memories and flashbacks of the happiest times of his life, times he wished he could bring back, but he couldn't; times he wished he would've enjoyed more, times he should've enjoyed more, times that were now gone; times that were now nothing but a painful memory for him to look back on.

Eventually, all the boys were downstairs and we were ready to leave. Jimin and Taehyung were still bickering, Yoongi looked completely emotionless, Namjoon was busy reading a book, which surprisingly was not Fifty Shades of Grey, it was actually We Know It Was You by Maggie Thrash, I was pretty amazed by his choice of literature, he liked modern literature? And mystery?

I was flabbergasted.

Hoseok noticed me and he gave a smile, "He really isn't the worse of them," He explained and I rose my eyebrows, maybe he wasn't. Jungkook came in last and we shared a secret smile, considering our previous encounters, I felt as if Jungkook and I were already friends, even if he was a vampire.

Getting into the car one by one, I wasn't surprised when Jin went into the driver's seat, he was technically the house chief, doing everything from chores to cooking dinner and now he was the one who would be driving? I couldn't help but feel slightly guilty, they never helped him do anything.

I decided to take the passenger's seat, just because I wanted to have a conversation with him, and the others were occupied with their own thing; other than Yoongi, Hoseok and Jungkook who, to my ignorance, were actually pretty pissed I decided to sit up front with Jin.

Jin, to say the least, was surprised to see me climb up to the seat next to his, but he wasn't displeased, he offered me a polite smile as he started the car, slowly guiding out of the garage before pulling onto the lane and driving towards our destination; the Uni.

I lowered my glass, allowing the window to open, my eyes stuck to the beautiful night sky. Attending a night college would be very interesting, to say the least; apparently, you studied from eight o'clock night time to half-past three o'clock morning time, which was a pretty off schedule, but it was the general, hours of input and output could change depending on your classes; or so I assumed.

Turning to Jin, I couldn't help but ask, "Yah, Jin, what are you on?" I asked and he rose a brow, "What do you mean?"

"Have you graduated college or...?" I précised and he chuckled.

"I graduated college about thirty-nine times now." He stated and I couldn't help the heat that took over my cheeks; obviously, he was a vampire.

"Do you know why that is?" He demanded, turning to me, his free hand ruffling his platinum blonde locks that suited him oh so well. I looked at him with raised eyebrows, "Because you're a vamp-"

"Because I'm greedy, I couldn't stand to have just one diploma." He spoke, grinning at me and I looked at him, my expression filled with wonder and pure surprise, my mouth slightly open.

"Aha! Really?" He nodded, confirming his paroles. I couldn't help but laugh a bit, even if his reasoning was completely rational and plausible; Jin seemed to be the type of person who excelled in everything, so it was no shock to see him be greedy with education and learning; gosh, he was basically perfect.

Turning to him, I couldn't help the slight look of envy that overtook my eyes. I was very much content with my major, but I've always been interested in a diversity of subjects and I wished I had the opportunity to study as many things as he had; but of course, I didn't have the time, unlike him, my life was limited to a number of years to go through, and I could die at any moment, especially now that I was living with bloodsuckers, it seemed that my chances of dying young increased; I shuddered at the thought.

Sensing my discomfort, Jin turned to me, "Are you alright?" He asked and I nodded.

"Just slightly stressed." I declared and he nodded. "Understandable, but I'm sure they're all going to love you there. By the way, what are you majoring in?" He asked and I turned to him with a wide grin.

"I'm majoring in (U/M)," I declared, before I started to ramble on about how much that major

I was getting lost in my own words, never in my whole life had I spoken this much, but this time it seemed like I was just letting out words unconsciously, and the fact that Seokjin seemed to be intently listening to me only enticed me to keep speaking; I couldn't comprehend how he had gotten me to speak about school as if it were the most interesting of subjects but he did; and he listened all the way. I was thankful for that.

Realizing my behavior, I bowed my head a bit, "I'm sorry, I must have blown your ears with all this talk," I apologized and he gave me a smirk.

"I'm your sunbae, if you annoyed me I would've said something." He spoke and I nodded, "By the way, there's something I should mention to you, I'm sure the others didn't." He started and I crooked up my left brow, "What is it?"

"Well, at school, we don't go by our names, as you know, my name is Seokjin, and my nickname is Jin, since it's my nickname, it isn't an issue. Jimin and Jungkook also aren't concerned, as in for Hoseok, Taehyung, Namjoon and Yoongi, you must call them J-Hope, V, Rapmonster or RM and Suga respectively." He declared. Oh great, I already had trouble recalling their names as it was, and now they had pseudonyms?

"Alright, why exactly?" I asked and he rubbed his forehead, seemingly exasperated about something, "As to not be tracked down." He stated and my eyebrows both furrowed.

"By whom? Do people know your nature?" I asked and he shook his head, seemingly frightened by something as he started to park the car, I peeked my head out only to be met with a swarm of walking girls. Jesus fucking Christ.

Jin didn't need to explain any further as I pulled the window back up and looked at him.

"You guys have... fangirls?" I asked, my eyes wide in shock as he nodded, I couldn't help but laugh a bit, "Is that why you have aliases? So you're not chased down by crazy women?" I asked and he groaned.

"It's much more complicated than it seems, (Y/N)-ah, women can be dangerous." He admitted and I laughed even more, "Says the big bad dictatorial vampire." I whispered and he glared at me, I just smiled to him.

"Just tell me, how are we gonna get out of the car?" I asked and he looked at me, "Don't worry, usually they let us pass, just stay behind me at all times, I need to show you around and give you your schedule." He stated and I nodded.

"Wait, are you the delegate?" I asked and he nodded, "I'm the delegate and Namjoon's the valedictorian."

What?

"He's that good of a student?" I demanded, disbelief tracing my voice as I spoke and Jin grinned.

"Yes, he's the smartest kid in the whole building, he's double major and studies Astronomy and English Literature," The young man grinned, seemingly very proud of his cousin. I couldn't help but blink. Wow. For a pervert, he sure achieved lots of things.

"I'm currently majoring in Human Genetics." He spoke and I blinked even more.

"Impressive, very impressive." I complimented. They were vampires, and yet, they were so determined, obviously so hardworking.

That was amazing.

"What about the others? What are they majoring in?" I asked and he unbuckled his seat belt, "I think you should ask them yourself." He replied and I nodded before I felt his hand take mine.

"Just to make sure you don't get lost in the crowd of girls." He assured and I looked at him with wonder, that is until I recalled the issue; fangirls.

When he opened the car door, there was a swarm of girls of different ages, I think I even saw what looked to be a teacher in there, but I didn't question it, I didn't think at all, I just let Jin guide me through 'til we reached the end of what seemed an eternity of women; I couldn't help but let out a sigh and Jin gave me a large grin.

"Now, that was exhausting, wasn't it (Y/N)?" I nodded eagerly, "I wonder how you can go through that every day, it seems so sur-" I was cut short when Yoongi, or Suga, cut into the conversation.

"Give me her papers, I'll show her around." He demanded, not even taking a glance at me, I wondered what was up with him.

Jin crooked up a brow as he looked at him, "Are you sure? As far as I'm concerned you don't even know where the dean's office is," He scoffed, his eyes holding something I couldn't decipher, it sure seemed like mock though, which only aggravated Yoongi's anger, and his hand grabbed mine roughly.

What was wrong with him?

I didn't recall Yoongi to be... like this. When I had been in his company previously that day, he had been pretty sweet during the start of dinner as well. I wondered what his deal was. I was about to pull my hand away from his when he turned to look at me, his eyes piercing right through mine and despite my want to give him a piece of mind, I was rendered speechless at his tense gaze.

He turned back to Jin, "You shut up, just because you're the eldest in between us doesn't mean you have to conduct what everyone does," He informed and I instantly recalled that they were brothers.

It seemed so strange, they were brothers and yet, they were so different. Jin excelled in, as far as I knew, everything. He was polite and he hadn't shown any signs of even slight imperfection, whilst Yoongi was, from what I've seen, lazy and not particularly interested in anything other than music, he was constantly wearing his earpieces, he also wasn't as polite as Jin and was far more casual.

I started to wonder if these differences had dragged some type of rivalry between them, and from what I was watching now; they definitely had.

I couldn't help but feel out of place, I couldn't really just stand and watch two brothers argue, especially because I hadn't really seen them do so but also because I didn't want something bad to occur, they were vampires after all. I was about to speak up when I saw Jin getting closer to Yoongi, his eyes filled with mock and disbelief.

"Are you serious? I don't conduct everything everyone does because I'm your Hyung, I do it because, unlike you, I'm responsible," He started, his eyes filling with hatred as he now faced his younger brother, looking down on him.

"I'm mature, I can take matters into my own hands. The only thing you ever do is sulk in your room as you listen to the poor excuse of music you make." Jin declared and I couldn't help but glare up at him a bit; he was his brother, his goddamn brother, and yet, he looked at him with so much disdain and dislike that I couldn't help but tighten my grip on the youngest's hand as I pulled him to me. He turned to me, his eyes filled with obvious despair and trauma from his own brother's words.

"Let's just go," I stated and that seemingly shocked both Yoongi and Jin.

The latter crooked up a brow and gave me an odd look, "(Y/N)-ah, I have your papers, you cannot go with him." He declared, walking towards me this time and I backed away.

"Then I'll just skip class, it's not important." I declared and Yoongi gave me a sorrowful smile, "Come on, let's go." I repeated, and the mint-haired vampire wasted no time in tightening his grip on my hand and walking away, dragging me along with him.

Jin stood there, an expression of consternation and confusion obvious in his face. He couldn't believe that I had blown him off to go with his younger brother. He couldn't believe that he had lost to his younger brother. His eyebrow furrowed and he scowled as he stared at his brother's retrieving figure.

I was still very much walking alongside Yoongi, I had no idea where we were going, but we were walking towards a very secluded building. The University itself was very secluded, and its architecture seemed so old, it looked like those really old castles from medieval times we saw in movies, the stone brick structure and vast gardens only enhancing those impressions, it was beautiful and rustic, and I couldn't help my darting eyes; it didn't seem to bother Yoongi as he was focused on taking me somewhere.

Noticing that we were entering the building, I couldn't help but cough, catching his attention in the process.

"Um... Yoongi, where are we going?" I asked and he gave me a small smile.

"My paradise." He answered simply, his hand still tight on mine as he pulled me into an empty auditorium, letting go of my hand as he entered and took a look around, so did I.

It had a high spherical glass ceiling that allowed you to see the night sky, as well as a glass wall that gave a great sight of the gardens outside. The dim lighting of the room contrasting majestically with the dark blue sky and the greenery outside, a few rose bushes were here and there, and the combination of the rustic room and the neutral colors of nature were simply one hell of a sight; I was mesmerized. The room was far from shallow, even so, only a few chairs and what I assumed to be a broken piano occupied the large and empty space.

"Wow..." I unconsciously let out, still taking in the allure of the room.

Yoongi must've seen my expression and he showed me a toothy grin. My eyes fell upon him and I couldn't help but frown. Chewing on my lip a bit, I let out a breath.

"Do you guys usually fight like this?" I asked and his expression changed before he walked towards the piano and sat on the stool.

"I can't say no, but I can't say yes either," He declared, his eyes on me as I walked closer, stopping by a chair, taking a seat.

"Most of the time we just... ignore each other," He added, his hands settling on the piano keys as he let out a breath, "Most of the time, I'm in my room and he's busy dealing with Namjoon, Jimin, and Taehyung. Those three fight a lot," He informed and I couldn't help but furrow my eyebrows.

"I noticed, especially Jimin and Tae..." I confirmed and he nodded, "But their fights are never as violent as the one you and Jin just had Yoo-"

"We're the oldest in the house, so you can say that everything is on our shoulders," He explained, turning to face me.

"Jin thinks he does everything, but he doesn't acknowledge what the rest of us do." He further added, looking at me, his eyes filled with pure anger and slight sadness, and I felt my whole self pitying him. Jin didn't necessarily seem like he was full of himself, but he sure seemed... proud, and too much pride was never good, it was basically a sin.

I stood up, taking a seat next to him on the stool, "Maybe he just wants you to be more active and responsible, maybe it's just out of care for you-" He cut me off.

"Are you defending him?" He asked, fury lacing his voice. I shook my head, "Not at all, I'm just looking at things from a different perspective, Jin doesn't seem like the person-" He cut me off once more, placing a slim index finger on my lips, catching me off guard.

"If you're going to utter one more word about my brother, then I'm going to have to bite your lips off to keep them from moving." He declared and I couldn't help the redness that developed onto my cheeks as I glared at him. "Are you going to keep talking about him?" He removed his finger, awaiting my response.

"No." I answered and he gave me a lopsided smile, turning back to his piano keys.

"Tell me, (Y/N), what would you like to hear?" He asked, I shrugged, I had never been a piano person, so I wasn't sure what to say. "Give me anything, I'll play it."
