Yawn.
I stretched as I sat up on the large bed, my body was encased in one of the many sheets of the bed. Looking around, I moved towards the lamp and turned it on, my (E/C) immediately turning towards the clock. It was a quarter to three o'clock, three in the afternoon. Even so, it felt like it were half past midnight, this house was simply constantly dark, with all the Gothic color and curtains, and it was hard to see sunlight. Of course, I clearly understood as to why that was.
Standing up, I decided that I would head out tomorrow, check out some of the different spots in town. I got out of the warm bed, and I was immediately met with the cold weather. I shuddered but I managed to head to the bathroom. I took a shower and dried my hair, I decided to style it today, and curled it, the curls made my (H/L) hair look great, and they framed my face well. I looked good.
After wearing my underclothes, I put on a white quarter sleeved button up, black skinny jeans and dress shoes. I put on a hat, I mean, sunlight was a bummer, and not just for vampires. Putting on my book bag, I headed out of my room, wondering if I had to inform them about this. I wouldn't be going too far, and my stuff was all here... I did feel like I should tell someone.
Looking around, I wondered where everyone was. It occurred to me that perhaps they were sleeping, considering the fact that they were vampires and it was broad daylight out, but such thoughts got out of my head when I heard slight humming as I passed by a room. It wasn't Tae's room, the door to his room was painted lavender, as for this one, it was plain white with silver swirls. It seemed painted by hand as a few spots were missed. I couldn't help but feel drawn to the sound, it was... attracting me, my feet dragged me, and before I knew it, my hand was hovering on the knob.
I swear I heard a chuckle before I heard a faint "Come in."
Instinctively, I turned the knob and entered, to my shock, it wasn't a room, but a bathroom and the lights were turned off. The whole room was only lit by the flame of an assortment of candles that surrounded the oval bathtub, and the bathtub was occupied. I believed this one was... what was it again? Yoongi! He was in the tub, his head hanging off the edge as well as his hands and feet. His mint colored hair was slightly wet at the ends, and he was wearing his ear pods, an mp3 player in his hand.
He looked towards me, his eyes eyeing me up, I suddenly felt very conscious, I couldn't handle his lazy gaze on me, and I simply broke the eye contact.
Letting out a chuckle, he looked at me, "Going somewhere?" I nodded.
"I wanted to check out the town." I declared, he laid his head on the edge of the tub once more.
"Alright. You can go." He stated. Did I even need his permission in order to go?
"Okay... I'll go-" I was stopped mid-sentence as he turned to me again.
"Wait..." He started, and I did not know what he wanted to say so I simply stayed silent.
"Your name?" He asked, and I rose my eyebrows, "What?"
He chuckled a bit, "Tell me your name," He repeated, I felt my cheeks heat up. Jesus, it was obvious he wanted my name!

"Oh yeah, (Y/N)." I informed and he nodded, "Wash my hair for me before you go." He demanded and my left eyebrow rose. What? I stayed completely silent, unsure of what I was supposed to say. What kind of request was that?
"Please?" He added, probably noticing my confusion. I was pretty shocked for his request but decided to do it anyway, it's not like I was in a rush. Moving forward, I realized that he was completely naked in front of my eyes. It wasn't an issue to his lower body as the bubbles were covering most of it, but his torso was clearly showing, and despite my trials as to be discreet, he noticed my stares and let out a chuckle. "It's okay, you can look."
I coughed a bit and decided to just shrug off what he said. My eyes roamed around, looking for some type of container in order to pour water on his hair, I was looking in the furthest back of the bathroom when he poked my arm, "Right there," He pointed to a large font and I rose my eyebrows.
"Isn't that a... holy water font?" I questioned, it sure looked like one.
"Yeah... but we're vampires, holy water's nothing to us." He stated and I nodded, understanding that. As far as I was concerned, they were vampires, so it wasn't freaky that they didn't care about religion.
Grabbing the font, I gathered some water and poured it on his head before squeezing a handful of shampoo into his hair, lathering it up. Slowly and gently, I massaged the foamy mess into his light teal hair, making sure it got into every crevice. I was now using both my hands to thoroughly clean his hair of any dirt, letting my hands brush against his neck a few times, not on purpose though.
Yoongi on the other hand, obviously noticed the gesture, and he seemed to enjoy it thoroughly, so much so, he grabbed my hand, catching me off guard, and set it on his neck. He squeezed my hand, squeezing the muscle of his lower neck in the process.
His hand on top of mine caused me to shudder, a trail of shivers going up and down my spine. I felt... electricity. The situation we were in reeked of intimacy when we, we barely knew each other. I had only seen him twice, and I'm not sure if it were the vibes we were in, or if it were how much he was enticing me to do so, but I lowered my hands and let them dart on his neck, squeezing at the tense muscles and relieving him of the stress he was in.
I couldn't explain how it felt, and back then, I didn't know if it were because of my sense of motherhood or my sweetness, but I felt the duty to take care of him and help him out. This... alarming sense didn't come from my brain, of course, it came from my chest, from my rib cage, from my heart. But even so, back then, I was still hooked to my brain, and all I did was think, so when I realized the predicament I was in, my hand fell limp on his back, and he let out a chuckle. What was amusing about this?
Stop thinking, (Y/N), stop thinking. Just feel.
"Thank you. You have very skilled hands." He complimented, and I nodded, inwardly, I wanted to chuckle at his lame excuse of a compliment, but my fear held me back.

"I'll leave now." I declared, and he nodded, "Thank you again, (Y/N)." He spoke and I nodded once more, heading towards the door. As I was about to shut the door behind me, I heard his voice once more, "(Y/N)?"
"Yeah?" I called out, peeking my head inside, he looked over to me, and I couldn't help but freeze up, his gaze was... intimidating. He smiled, and the previous intimidating aura left him, leaving the place for gumminess and slight innocence.
"Don't be so stiff, I don't bite... Literally." I couldn't help but chuckle this time, and he smiled at me. I grinned back and shut the door, leaving Yoongi to himself.
I walked towards the front door, checking once more for my phone and my wallet when I heard a cold cough.
"Young lady, where on earth are you going?"
I heard, and I knew whose voice it was, and this once, I was sure who it was. Jin, formally known as; Seokjin. I personally didn't like him the second I saw him, frankly, I didn't like any of them, they gave off weird vibes, but he, he was just...worse. His dominating aura was not reassuring at all, and from the quite friendly moment I had shared with Yoongi; I was feeling a bit risky, bold, and confident.
Turning around, I faced him and rose my eyebrows. "Out." He looked down at me and huffed before a smirk settled on his lips.
"Is that so? Where are you going then?" He demanded, and in a flat second, he was in front of me, his harsh, deep brown eyes boring into my (E/C) ones. Recalling that there was a winery here, I could declare I wanted to buy some type of wine.
"I simply wanted to go to the library and then bring a bottle of wine from the winery," I stated, crossing my arms as my eyes settled on him. I personally didn't know where this confidence came from, sure, some of it was due to the pretty awesome moment with Yoongi, and the night I shared with Tae, but that was not enough to raise my self-esteem this much, especially considering the fact that I was facing a huge shouldered vampire.
"Oh. That's... enchanting." He stated, scratching his temple and I raised a brow. What the hell? It seemed all of his authority had just vanished. Pulling out a pink wallet from his pocket, he handed it to me and gave me a small smile.
"Please bring some carrots with you for tomorrow's dinner, and buy the wine with my money. It would be awfully reckless of me to let you use your own money whilst you're our guest." He spoke, his voice filled with pure niceness. He fixed the hat on top of my head before he grinned, "Come on, run along." He declared and I nodded my head, going out.
Jin couldn't help but chuckle as she left.
Don't be fooled, (Y/N), it's just a facade. Don't be afraid.
I couldn't help but feel unsettled as I got out. Why were they being so... sweet? So... nice? They were being more than tolerable! They were borderline friendly, which freaked me out more than them being sadistic and authoritarian asses! I could feel my cheeks warm up, were they trying to get me to trust them? What were they attempting to do?! Why were they so nice?!
More questions filled my already full mind. Their change of behavior was very... strange, to say the least. I decided to not think about it as I headed towards the library, my eyes brightening as I entered the large library. Reading was one of my passions, alongside , reading was one of my hobbies.
Rummaging through the different sections, my feet instantly took me to the fantasy aisle, I looked through the many different books and fell upon two, it was almost impossible to pick between them, but eventually, I did, deciding to go with
I spent a good half an hour reading through the pages when a voice broke my focus, "That's a great book right there."
My eyes moved towards the voice, it was a young man with brown hair and deep brown eyes, he was fairly good looking, his smile was just as charming and my lips stretched into a smile automatically. "Have you read it before?" I asked and he nodded eagerly.
"Of course! Steven Erikson and Joe Abercrombie are my heroes!"
And that's how another half an hour passed by.
As the large clock of town signaled it was six o'clock, the handsome stranger and I parted ways after exchanging names and numbers, his name was Chanyeol. I couldn't help the grin on my face.
Heading towards the winery, I entered right away, my happiness taking over the best of me. I looked through the different beverages, there was everything, white wines, red wines, sparkling wines, rose's wines, literally everything.
I decided to go with a homemade mead, it was a bit expensive but it was worth it, and despite Jin's previous demands of me buying it with his money, I chose to but it with my own. I couldn't help but feel the need to repay them. When I walked to the cashier though, something inside of me clicked.
Why would I repay them? They were vampires! They would hurt me! They were foreign creatures who were capable of hurting me!
I couldn't help the nagging voice in my head, it was like a battle between my senses and my intellectual. It was so... messy. Noticing the cashier's eyes on me, I decided to simply pay it on my own, even if they were to hurt me, they were still offering me a roof and they had paid my whole scholarship!
My heart had won this time. It was a good start.
Getting out of the store, I had a small smile on my lips, almost as if I had achieved something huge which unconsciously, I had. I had listened to my feelings and let go of my intelligence.
It's a stepping stone, (Y/N), you're doing well.
I grinned all the way to the farmer's market, I smiled all the way back to the mansion, my eyes filled with an unexplainable brightness and my heart felt light. I walked up, opening the door, noting that Jimin was laying down on the couch again, holding what seemed to be a styrofoam cup. I did not really want to know what was in that cup, so I simply headed into the kitchen, ignoring him, unaware that he had followed me.
Setting the different aliments on the counter, I turned around, only to be met with a hard surface. I gasped as my eyes took in who it was. Jimin. I glared and attempted to walk away, but once more, he blocked me in by setting his hands on each side of the counter. I looked at him straight in the eye.
"What do you want?" I asked, annoyance didn't lace my voice, neither did anger. Actually, I think I sounded completely monotone. My question made him chuckle. "Is there a reason you don't like me?" He asked and I rose a brow. Was he shitting me?
"You bit me," I stated simply. He either was oblivious as fuck or was just faking stupidity, there was also the option that he was actually stupid but I shied away from that, he didn't seem stupid.
Letting out a groan, giving me a displeased look. "Come on, that was in the past! Let's start fresh." He declared. Pushing his hand in front of my face, he gave me a priceless smile, "Nice to meet you, (Y/N)-ah, I'm Jimin." I looked at him, my eyebrows raising high.
"Nice to meet you...?" I declared, it came out more like a question though.
"Good! Now, we have a fresh start!" He stated, finally letting me go and grinning, "Oh yeah, by the way, Jin-Hyung gave you this." He declared, handing me a paper airplane.
"Jin gave me a paper airplane?" I asked, inspecting the origami craft.
"No! He gave you a letter! I just turned it into a plane 'cause this place was too silent and boring, and you were gone so..." I chuckled. He was pretty childish for a predator who almost sucked me dry. It felt like the more I spent time with these 'vampires', the less vampiristic they turned out to be.
Opening the plane, I was met with pretty handwriting, seriously, Jin was more feminine than me, and I did not know how I felt about that.
Dear (Y/F/N),
As I was emptying out your suitcase, I found your hand lotion spilled out onto its contents, so I simply washed all of your clothes (including your underclothes), in wait for them to dry out, I gathered some of our smallest garments and a few garments from other brides. I apologize terribly.
Also, today will be your first day at school, well, University. One of us will be assigned to walk you around, probably me, the others are far too lazy. It is a night college, and despite you looking exquisite in the outfit you were sporting, I personally think it'd be better if you wore the clothes I left on your bed, the weather gets chilly at night. I also left a coat on the hook of your room just in case.
With respect and admiration,
Kim Seokjin.
I couldn't help but cringe a bit as I read through the first few lines of the letter, why would he even try and empty my suitcase? Bleh. His intentions were probably good. Throughout the ending though, I couldn't help but smile a little. What? A compliment was a compliment even if it were from a vampire. Jimin must've noticed my smile because he glared at me, and took the paper away.
"Yah! Don't smile at Jin's letters." He declared, crumbling up the paper into a ball before throwing it right into the bin. I rose my eyebrows before I sighed, heading out of the kitchen, ignoring him completely.
"Yah! (Y/N)-ah! Don't ignore me!"
Were they really vampires?
Actually, were they really older than I?
