atsumu couldn't bare to listen to any of it any longer. he didn't want to interfere, so he walked away quietly from where you and kageyama were. too many thoughts were rushing in his mind that he didn't know what to do instead of just walking away and pretend like nothing ever happened.
he clenched his fist, lowering his head down. surely you wouldn't leave him, right? he thought. the setter walked back to his team where his twin noticed the gloomy presence he had when he came back. from there, osamu knew something else happened.
meanwhile, kageyama waited for your response. his eyes stared back at you, scanning your features looking for some sort of hope.
"your five minutes hasn't ended yet." you said, raising one of your brows.
"...what?"
"i gave you five minutes remember? but then again, you wouldn't really need it anyway." you placed one hand on his shoulder, and gave him a small smile. "i think you already know my answer tobio."
"but–"
"i forgive you for what you did back then, it's all in the past after all." you sighed. "and besides, i found my happiness. and i hope someday you would too."
kageyama didn't reply as you slowly slipped away from him once again, the feeling of regret never leaving him. was it okay to just leave it like this? did you actually forgive him or was it just an act?
"you... found your happiness?" he asked, stopping you from walking away.
you didn't turn to face him, but slowly nodded your head. "see you around tobio."
the boy watched as your figure disappear from the hallway. he lowered his head and closed his eyes, letting his back rest on the wall. "i've already found my happiness [Y/N], but i'm afraid she's already happy with someone else."
you had just arrived back home in hyogo. it was already late at night so you had to enter the house quietly since takeru was already asleep. you crept up to your room and let yourself rest on the comfort of your bed, feeling very exhausted.

you tried to look for atsumu after the talk you had with kageyama, but you were later informed that the team had already gone back to hyogo after the match. you texted atsumu, asking him how he was doing, but he hasn't even left you on read.
you and yuki decided to go home afterwards so now you were at your humble adobe a couple of hours later. you opened your phone again to see if atsumu replied, but he hasn't.
you frowned, feeling guilty that you couldn't do anything to help right now. you made the decision to go over to his house tomorrow since he wouldn't reply to your texts, until your doorbell rang.
you furrowed your brows, wondering who it could be at this hour. of course, you stayed alarm and went to peak out first to see who it was before opening the door. you saw the blonde hair sticking out of his hoodie and immediately knew who it was.
"atsumu? what are you doing here?" you opened the door for him. he enters, closing the door behind him.
"shouldn't you be resting right now? you just got back after all–" suddenly, the boy envelops you into a tight hug. his arms wrapped around you while he buried his face onto your neck.
"tsumu? did something happen?" you hugged him, rubbing circles on his back.
it took a minute for him to reply, but he finally had the courage to speak out what he came for. "don't leave me..."
"what?" your eyes widened.
"please don't leave me princess..." his voice was low, it was almost as if he didn't want you to hear it. on a normal circumstance, you wouldn't but his lips were so close to your ear that you could even hear him breathing.
"hey, why would you say that?" you pull apart from the hug to cup his cheeks, making him look straight at you.
"it's tobio, wasn't it?" he grabs your hand, pulling it away from his face and squeezing it. "the guy from back then."

you weren't really hiding it from him that kageyama was your ex. you were just shocked that he knew the boy that's all. "yeah..." you replied.
atsumu frowns, his eyes now staring at the ground. "...did you... give him a second chance?"
then you realized, he probably heard the conversation you shared with kageyama earlier. he probably didn't stay long enough to know the rest.
"tsumu–"
"i know i shouldn't have eavesdropped but i just couldn't help myself."
"i didn't–"
"but if you did give hin another chance then t-that's... i'd hate that but if that's yer choice then–" stopping him from his rambling, you pulled atsumu into a kiss to shut him up.
soon enough, he began to kiss you back, sending butterflies down your stomach. his hand snaked around your waist, while his other cupped your cheek. his tongue enters your mouth, making you release a low moan. your tongues fought for dominance, but you knew atsumu would never let you win.
you both wanted more, the hunger in your lips said so. as you heard his low grunts, your mind started to feel light headed from what was happening.
you both sat down the sofa, never breaking the kiss you two shared. you sat on top of his lap, his hands finding its way under your shirt. as much as you wanted to continue, you had to pull away to catch your breath.
you rested your forehead on atsumu's, hearing him panting softly. you smirked, "finally, you shut up."
you flicked his forehead, earning a small yelp from him. "ow! what was that for?!"
"for being crazy enough to think i'd actually give him a chance." you roll your eyes at him. "why would i when i have you?"
the lights were off but you could see the faint blush coating atsumu's cheeks. you smiled, running your thumbs on it as you held his cheeks.
"stop saying stuff like that..." he tore his gaze away from you.
"why not?" you tilt your head.
"may i remind you what position you're in princess?" his lips suddenly formed a smirk. you realized that you were still basically on top of him as you sat on his lap. "say more and i wouldn't be able to stop myself." he ran his hands on your thigh.
your breath hitched as he gave it a light squeeze, making your heart beat fast. "...who told you to stop?"
not expecting the reply you gave, atsumu's smirk deepened. "eager now, are we?" he leans towards you, locking his lips on yours once more. his tongue ran across your bottom lip, asking for entrance.
before you could even grant it fo him, the lights turned on in the living room. "nee-chan? i heard someone talking."
you and atsumu cursed, jumping away from him as soon as you heard the voice. takeru entered the living room while rubbing his eyes, he was still half asleep.
"h-hey takeru, why are you up?" you gulped as you tried to fix your hair and messed up clothing.
"atsumu-kun? what are you doing here?" he immediately lights up at the sight of the taller boy.
"hiya takeru-kun." he smiles at him, sending him a wave from the sofa he was sitting on. "just happened to pass by that's all." you saw the mischievous look atsumu sent you, which made made you roll your eyes.
"i was just sending atsumu back home takeru."
"wait what?"
"what? already?" the smaller boy frowns.
"yup! but don't worry, we can play at the park again tomorrow." you walked towards atsumu, telling him to stand up. "you should head back upstairs takeru. it's past your bedtime."
"fiiine." he groans, stomping back up to his room.
when you were sure the boy had already left, you turn back to face atsumu. "now, where were we?"
