"so, whaddya want?"
atsumu stares at your figure who was still nearby the door. he noticed you lowering your head as you walked towards him. he waits for your answer, but simply got none.
"hey." your steps were slow as if you didn't want to walk to him in the first place. you still didn't utter a word which confused him.
"didn'tcha say you wanted to talk?" atsumu asked once more. you still had your head lowered so he couldn't see what facial expression you had on your face.
"[Y/N]–"
"kiss me."
atsumu widens his eyes in surprise. it wasn't a question, it was more like a demand. "what?"
"i said kiss me."
"why would y–" without any warning, you pulled atsumu's shirt and smacked your lips onto him while you were on your tippy toes so you could reach his height. your lips moved in sync with his as you closed your eyes.
atsumu was in shock to even process what was going on. he felt his heart beat twice as much at your sudden action. it was because you were the one asking him for permission this time and he couldn't do anything but to grant it so he opened his mouth. your tongue fought for dominance with his, only to lose as soon as his touched the roof of your mouth. you felt heat all over your body as your knees began to grow weak.
atsumu's hand cupped your cheek, your hair tangling along his fingers. you were the one to pull away first, your fingers slightly shaking as you gripped his shirt. the blonde noticed it and tilted your head it to face him.
"thought you told me not to go near you? what's happenin' here princess?"
your eye twitched at the sight of red lipstick marks at the side of his lip. "shut up." you said, closing in the gap again for the both of you.
atsumu didn't want you to dominate however and grabbed your arms, pinning you against the wall. as your lips touched his, you began to wonder if he'd been doing this with heather earlier. you moved down his neck, kissing his jawline and hearing his soft grunts in your ear.
you smelled the expensive perfume lingering on his skin. "you smell like her too..." you mumbled as you parted from him.
before you knew it, tears began to drip from your eyes. atsumu had his eyes half open so the moment he saw this, he immediately pulls away from you.
"a-are you okay?" he lets go of your arm that was pinned on the wall and cupped your cheeks again, wiping off the tears with his thumb.
"why did you stop?" you asked, not making eye contact with him.

"tell me why yer cryin'."
"it's nothing." you tilted your head to the side, causing him let go of your cheeks.
"[Y/N] this is not nothi–"
"why did you stop kissing me? is it because i'm not her?" you felt a lump in your throat as you said those words, scared that you might cry more if you tried to speak again.
"what are you talkin' 'bout?" he asked.
"you were this stuff with heather too weren't you?"
"w-what?"
"at this same room yesterday. you were here weren't you?"
"how did–"
"and earlier. you had this on your lip." you took your thumb and ran it across the sides of his lip. "she left lipstick marks."
atsumu frowned, "she..." he started, but didn't know what else to say.
"you could've just made the deal with her instead. she would've done this much better than me."
"that's not–"
"because that's just what you wanted right? my body?" you finally looked at him in the eye, your [E/C] ones glittering as tears poured down on the side of your face.
"[Y/N] you know that's not true." he told you, his thick brows furrowing in disagreement.
"your plan was to drop me when we hooked up didn't you? that's what you wanted from the start?"
he couldn't deny it. that was atsumu's plan from the beginning, to forget about you after he was satisfied, to cut the deal off once he's used you. it was how things always worked with his flings, but things didn't exactly go as planned. the blonde ended up falling for you without knowing it.
with the silence, you already knew the answer to your question. you let out a scoff, pushing atsumu away from you. "why did i have to fall for you?" you say, looking away from him.
his eyes widened, not believing what you just said. "what did you say?"
"the deals off right? i lost. i fell for you atsumu miya." you smiled as you wiped off your tears. "i fucking fell for you."
deep down, atsumu felt relieved. it was because you didn't like suna, you liked him. he couldn't find the words to say and simply stared at you.
he started to feel regret kissing heather. he only did it because he thought he'd feel the same way towards the redhead just like when you kissed him. from how your lips felt good on his, how his heart beated so fast when you touched him, and how he couldn't help but to think of your adorable expression afterwards.
but in the end, it didn't work. he felt nothing with heather, he actually felt worse. he knew he shouldn't have done all that just to prove a point. he knew he should've realized he felt something about you sooner.

you on the other hand had have enough. "you can quit the deal with tooru tomorrow. after all, our deals off right?"
"what? why?"
"because you wouldn't like a girl who's attached to you, don't you?" you slowly backed away, giving him one last look before turning around.
"have fun tomorrow, atsumu." you slid the door close, trying your best to hold back anymore tears from spilling. you felt like your heart was going to explode from all the emotions you felt. quickly, you ran away from the classroom to get far from the blonde haired boy.
meanwhile, atsumu was still inside trying to process the things you told him. the door slid open again, and he wondered if you came back, but another person went in instead of you.
"you're an actual idiot, you know that right?" suna, with his arms crossed against his chest, went inside.
"why are you here?" he looks away from the black haired boy. atsumu noticed the bonfire that was starting outside, more students had began to circle around it.
"you could've just told her you liked her. is it that hard?" suna leaned against the wall nearest to the door. he happened to be walking by when he heard you and atsumu talking about how you felt for him.
suna heard you confess, and he couldn't help but to feel this sharp pain in his chest.
"you make it sound like it's easy."
"it is." suna said. "because i've already done it."
"really?" atsumu looks at the boy who was looking down at the ground. "what... what did she say?"
"she rejected me obviously." he huffed. "that's why i'm so pissed off at you right now."
"i can't just... tell her." atsumu sighs. "i'm not even sure what i feel for her. i've never fallen for anyone suna, ya should have already known that."
"i know. but the way you've been acting lately clearly states the obvious atsumu." suna scoffs before turning his back at atsumu. "see ya tomorrow."
"wait." atsumu called out, stopping him from taking another step further. "tomorrow. i'll do somethin' 'bout it."
suna smirks, "you better. you didn't actually think i've already given up on her have you?" with that, he left atsumu inside the room with more thoughts on his mind than ever.
it was the day of the match with seijoh. you were standing at the entrance of inarizaki, waiting for their school bus to arrive. oikawa texted you saying that they were already close, so you had been on guard from being attacked by a hug out of nowhere.
unfortunately for you, the bags under your eyes were as dark as ever. you did not get any sleep last night thinking how you were gonna approach atsumu today. you didn't know what got over you to just suddenly kiss him out of nowhere like that, and you didn't expect to confess right away either.
"i should've just let him ignore me." you mumbled, staring at the ground as you held onto your bag.
you heard that many people were gonna watch today's match even though it was just like a practice match. you had thoughts of not watching the game since you didn't want to see atsumu for more than five seconds. you knew yuki would force you to go, so you wanted to hide as soon as you greeted your uncle.
as if on cue, a bus arrived at the front gate. the door opens, and the first one to come out was hanamaki. the boy spots you standing nearby and quickly called out to you.
"[Y/N]-chan hey there!"
you waved to the taller boy, "ah, senpai! hey–"
"[Y/N]-chaaaaan!" a crying oikawa submerged out of the bus and attacks you with a tight hug. "iwa-chan's being mean again!"
"g-get off me tooru!" you stuttered, trying to get off the boy's grip. thankfully, iwaizumi followed behind the brown haired setter and pulls his collar so he could detach himself from you.
"oi, quit it shittykawa. she can't breathe because of you." he scolds. "sorry 'bout that [Y/N]."
"it's fine iwaizumi-senpai! it's been a while since we've last met." you greeted the ace.
"since you've been gone this shithead's been a pain in the ass." he lets go of oikawa's collar, setting him to the ground. "he's been whining all day about how your boyfriend went to na–"
"see? do you see how rude he is?!" oikawa points at iwaizumi.
"stop whining so much tooru." you sighed. "anyway, shall i take you guys to the gym?"
"sure! our coach has to speak with their coach as well." matsukawa joined in. "hi there [Y/N]-chan."
"hey senpai, i hope tooru hasn't been a pain to you guys either." your sweat dropped, already knowing the answer to it.
"hey kunimi, do you know her?" a certain turnip head nudged his teammate with a faint blush coated on his cheek.
"idiot. don't you remember her? she was at kitagawa." kunimi replied, not really interested at whatever kindaichi has in mind.
"wait really?"
"i saw her going to the gym often. i think she must've been visiting someone from our team."
"hey [Y/N]-chan!" oikawa suddenly called out to you.
"what?" you asked as you walked beside him.
"will you actually break up with your boyfriend?" he asked, his hands placed at the back of his head.
you lowered your head, not even knowing what the answer to his question was. "i... i don't know."

What will he do after the life he knew was uprooted and taken away from him? Will the 'demon magic' that caused his exile from the Elven Tribe bring him into a slow descent into madness? Book 2 description: Having found a life for himself outside of A'vetheas, a family, enrolled to a good school, and a potential romantic partner, John Sarvod continues on with his life the best he could, carrying himself forward, until... He messes it all up again. This time, however, it isn't because of his magic. It was by his own demerit. What is the cause of despair? Find out in Consignor Book 2. Old description (Without spoiler) John Sarvod, user of the most powerful healing spell [Heal], the rare ability to heal and recover all injuries, is the only human that lives in the Elven Tribe. Though he was gifted with [Heal], he could not cast any magic other than his one and only [Heal]. Aside from his current training to become a royal scribe, he is known to all elves as the ‘Healer of A’vetheas’ and had gained a certain amount of respect from them due to how much he works. But life for him in the Elven Tribe, A’vetheas wasn't never always like this. Because he was human, and that the Elves have isolated themselves from the outside world, his presence initially was not welcomed by the elves that thinks highly of him today. It was all thanks to the Elven Queen who brought him in, and the Elven Princess, Raina Valindra Eridi, that he could reach this day. But things changed when the Raina that he so adored used the teleportation device for a small date with him, where they met with danger that the [Heal] that he relied all this time could not save him from… In his desperate attempts to save Raina, John ended up committing a taboo of the elves. As for his punishment when he returned to A’vetheas? That was just the beginning of him, continuing the path that he had inevitably taken prior to the life he had before he lived in A’vetheas. This is a story of a not too average person end up becoming something that he could have never imagined. A monster? A demon? A god? Only time will tell. It is just a matter of time that John Sarvod would embrace his true self. Content Warning because I want to have flexibility, and maybe it gets overwhelming at times. I have a backlog already, this story won't be dropped. Edited: romance tag to action tag, story has more or less of both, but yeah. There's slice of life tagged in because my story progresses not too quickly (by my opinion) I like to take things slow, I suppose. :3
