《deal [M. ATSUMU]》22 ♪ Festival

it has been a week since the incident with heather. your arm was slowly healing up, although the marks on your skin did not fade. you were currently preparing for the booth your class has made which was the maid cafe. you were assigned as a cook instead of a waitress which you were thankful for since you didn't have to wear a maid costume. yuki however, had to wear it.
"why do i have to wear this?! it's too revealing!" she whined as you placed the headband on top of her head.
you laughed, finding her quite adorable in it. "relax yuki-chii, you look great!"
"you're lucky you don't have to wear this." she groaned. after finishing dressing up, she did a little twirl in front of the mirror to examine herself. "well it is pretty cute..."
"i told you!"
"[L/N], suna, time to go!" your classmate called out to the both of you.
"coming!" you dragged yuki out of the changing room and went to the kitchen that was set up inside your booth. the ingredients were already complete along with the cooking supplies.
"i wish i could cook..." yuki said. "i can't even fry an egg..."
"cheer up yuki." you pat her head in order to comfort her. "i'll make you something after the days over okay?"
"really?!" her eyes lit up. "you're the best [Y/N]-chan!"
"you should head out now, the customers are coming." you gave her a light push towards the exit. "goodluck!" she frowned as she waved goodbye to you.
feeling pumped up, you tied your hair back and wore your apron. "alright, let's do this." you had some assistance in cooking which you were thankful for so you didn't have that much trouble.
a couple of minutes later, orders came piling it. from cooking to baking, you were able to do it with some of your other classmates. your arms grew tired but you didn't mind and continued to cook.
"[L/N]-san, two omurice!"
"got it!"
"three parfaits please!"
"coming!"
a couple of hours has passed since you started. luckily, the substitute chef arrived. "[Y/N]-san i'm sorry i'm late!" your classmate hana kinamura from the cooking club apologized.
"it's okay hana-san. have you roamed around the school yet?" you asked as you took the apron off your waist.
"yeah, you should go visit too! oh, and while you're at it, can you give this to oka zuta for me?" she handed you a folder containing some paper inside.

"sure thing! what's her class?"
"class 2-2. i think their class is having a horror booth." you grab the folder from her. wait, did she just say class 2-2? "thank you so much [Y/N]-san!"
"no problem..." she skips towards the kitchen before you could even argue. you mentally cursed to yourself, damn it i should've asked for the class before i even agreed.
you started walking away from your booth and headed towards the changing room first to change out of your sweaty clothes. you remember having clothes in your locker which you felt relieved about. when you arrived at the locker room, you placed the folder in the locker so it wouldn't get wet by the shower.
you saw the spare clothes and sighed in relief. you started to strip out of your clothes and grabbed a towel to cover yourself as you got into the shower room. you turned the shower on, feeling the cold refreshing water hit your body.
as you closed your eyes, you thought of what was going to happen if you were to bump into atsumu later. after all, it had been a week since you talked. ever since that day in the clinic, he has been ignoring you. he never responds to your messages, he doesn't even look at you when you call out to him, nor does he eat with you for lunch anymore. it all confused you, you didn't know what you did wrong.
fortunately for you, his fangirls seemed to have slowly given up on you. with the lack of public affection, maybe they thought you two had broken up. you sighed, wondering if he would ever talk to you again. you were surprisingly bothered by him not talking to you. somehow, it felt like you were longing for his presence from time to time.
when you finally finished showering, you turned it off and dried yourself with the towel you brought earlier. you wrapped it around you and walked back towards the locker to put your clothes on.
when you opened it however, a different set of clothes was presented in front of you. you blinked, hoping it wasn't what you think it was. you saw the black dress with white ruffles and knew right off the bat what it was.
"you're kidding." you picked it up and it was indeed a maid outfit. it wasn't like the one your classmates wore, it had a different design and it was much more shorter. you looked for your other clothes inside the locker but it was nowhere to be found. "very funny!" you shout, hoping that the perpetrator would hear it.

"this is a fucking nightmare."
you walked around the school in a maid outfit. not that many people found it funny since it was a festival, there was bound to be something more weirder than what you were wearing, but that doesn't mean you weren't embarrassed by it. you really thought you could avoid the day without having to wear this very outfit but here you were waltzing around inarizaki high wearing it.
the stockings were kind of uncomfortable and so was the headband above your head. you sighed, hoping nobody you knew would see you.
"[Y/N]?"
suna, who was wearing his PE uniform, eyed you from head to toe. you gulped, already feeling the embarrassment take over you. "hey rintaro."
the boy walked towards you with his hands in his pockets. "...why are you wearing a maid outfit? aren't you on cooking duty?"
you froze. "it's a long story... but i did not wear this out of sheer boredom okay!" you explained. "anyway, i have to give this to oka from class 2-2." you showed him the folder you were holding.
"oh right timing. i was just about to head there myself."
"really?"
"yeah, i wanna check out what atsumu's doing. he might be wearing something hideous y'know?" he took out his phone, setting it to his camera. "like you." he snaps a picture of you.
"did you just–"
"let's go." he wasted no time saving the photo and started walking towards the horror booth.
"you did not just take a photo of me."
"maybe. maybe not."
"rintaro suna i demand you to delete it this instant."
"what? no way, i'm sending it to yuki. she'll love it." he taps on his phone, sending the photo to someone who was definitely not yuki.
[insert photo here]
you're welcome.
seen.
you saw suna grinning on his phone. you went to snatch it away from him, but he stretched his arm out so you wouldn't be able to reach it. "damn you and your height." you cursed under your breath.
"you're just small [Y/N]."
"thanks a lot."
soon after the two of you stopped teasing, you arrived at the front of class 2-2. there was a long line in front of what seemed like the counter for where you would get your tickets in order to get in.
"leave it to me." suna told you. he went over to the two girls who were at the table managing the booth. you raised your brow, watching suna talk with the females. after about a minute, he turns back to you and grabs your hand.
"let's go."
"wait what?"
"inside the booth. they told me oka zuta's in there playing sadako." he pointed at the entrance of the booth.
"s-sure..." you let him drag you towards the booth, feeling your knees shaking a bit. you weren't scared of ghosts and all that but you weren't fond of the dark.
you clutched the folder on your side as you grab onto suna's hand. he felt your hand started to go cold. "are you nervous?" he laughs.
"what? no i'm not." you eyes scanned your surroundings, the eerie music playing in the background while the fake fog encircled you two.
"i think they said oka was near the well?" suna's eyes looked for the specific well the girls were talking about. meanwhile, you couldn't focus on what he was saying. you were having a hard time seeing in the dark.
"it should be nearby..." suddenly, someone jumped from behind you, unaware that you let go of suna's grip.
"fuck!" you panicked and grabbed your folder, smacking it to the person who jumpscared you. "ohmygod i am so sorry!" you apologized to the person. they walked away from you, rubbing their head as they did so.
"i feel so bad... do you think they're alri–" you turned to look at the boy who was with you earlier only to see him gone beside you. "rintaro?" you called out, but he didn't respond.
you tried walking again, but your legs wouldn't stop shaking. "great, now i lost him..." you mumbled. you were going to reach for your phone in order to provide some light, but your hand got pulled by someone from the corner of the room.
ok so if u guys have watched maid sama and know misaki's normal maid costume, that's basically what yuki and her other classmates are wearing. y/n's however was the one misaki wore when she took a shower in that rich school I FORGOT WHAT IT WAS CALLED LMAO but here's a picture

Far to the north, lies the unassumingly named North-Eastern Extreme Frontier Tower, a backwater post if ever there were one. On the frontier, Cadryn will discover that neither his campions, nor the Neeft itself, are what he expects. Follow Cadryn on his journey to discover many truths: about himself, about the Empire, and about the very world he call home. ****** Keepers of the Neeft is a (bit dark) fantasy story revolving around Cadryn and his journey of discovery. There’s a fairly wide cast of supporting characters (his fellow Keepers) all with their own reasons and motivations behind how they came to be at the Neeft. Current release plan is to have part 2 completed, then fully edit up till the end of part 2. I am in the process of editing the earlier content as I complete the updates/re-writes. Apologies for any rough content in the meantime. My primary objective with Keepers of the Neeft is to work on developing content flow and establishing a community of people who enjoy my writing style. I write SF/F and horror as my primary genres, Keepers is actually my 3rd novel length work, but my current project. Updates of new Content will currently be in the form of one larger post on Tuesdays.
