"can i kiss ya?"
you peeled your eyes open to look at atsumu directly. you studied his features and waited for him to tell you he was just joking, but he wasn't. he didn't bat an eyelash the entire time he waited for an answer. maybe it was just because of the heat of the moment but the next thing you knew, you were slowly nodding to his request.
atsumu leans closer to you as you both closed your eyes. his hand snaked its way towards your hips, pulling you closer to him. your noses touched, then his lips met yours. your hands grabbed onto his shoulders, squeezing it as you melted with the kiss. you felt butterflies in your stomach, your head soon feeling light-headed.
"ngh.." you felt him asking for permission so you opened your mouth, his tongue battling with yours for dominance. you felt his hands starting to make way under your uniform, caressing your skin gently with his thumb. from the lack of space around you, your body was basically grinding against his. he cupped your cheeks with his other hand as you both pulled away breathless.
you panted while rest your head on his chest, feeling the warmth of his skin. you wanted to hide the blush that was forming on your cheeks from him. you heard him chuckle from above you as he placed his chin on top of your head, his arms wrapping around you. you thought about what just happened, did you actually just agreed on kissing him?
"i can hear your heart pounding." you told him.
"is yers doin' the same thing?"
"maybe." you smile. after you regained your breath, you pulled away from the hug you two had. "we should probably get out of here now."
"yeah, yer right." atsumu opens the locker, the light from outside suddenly blinding you. it was really dark inside the locker so you really couldn't see much.
when you both stepped out, atsumu grabbed a shirt from his bag that was placed on top of the bench and wore it. "you should've taken a picture of me topless, might be a better wallpaper for you y'know–"

"oh shut up." you turned around and made your way towards the door in hopes of getting out. you twisted the knob, but it wouldn't open like it did before. "what the..." you tried to shake it so it would budge, but it was no use.
"what's wrong?" atsumu asked once he saw you shaking the doorknob.
"it won't open!" you tried to open it with all your might but it was still no use.
"what?" he made his way to the door, taking his turn on opening it. the same thing happened to him, the door would not open.
"shit. i think the janitor locked us in." he said, giving up on opening the door.
you heaved in a heavy sigh as you sat down on the bench. "great, so we're stuck?"
"unfortunately." he shrugs, sitting down next to you as he dried his hair.
"you think he's gonna come back?"
"i don't think so. normally when he locks the doors he goes straight home." atsumu rests his head on the locker behind him, letting the towel drape over his shoulders. "we're stuck here 'til tomorrow mornin'."
"we could call someone. do you have your phone?"
"dead. yers?"
"i left all my stuff at the gym." you frowned. "god the last thing i want is to be stuck here with you."
"hey!"
"i'm kidding." you chuckled. "so, what are we going to do now?"
"we wait 'til that old man unlocks the room again."
"you're such an idiot for hiding with me in the locker."
"i panicked aight!" he argued, crossing his arms on his chest. "you would've been in trouble if you got caught just wondering around the boy's locker room. didn'tcha tell me yer gonna wait at the gym?"
"well i was but i thought you slipped or something." you looked away, realizing you worried for nothing.
"nice to know yer worried 'bout me." he smirks, shifting his gaze towards you. "say, why don't we play a little game?"
"what game?" you asked.
"yer gonna ask me ten questions, and so will i to you."

"sure. you go first."
"okay..." atsumu tried to think of the first question to ask you. "favorite color?"
"really?" you gave him a blank stare.
"what? i asked you a question."
"fine. it's [F/C]." you hummed silently as you pondered what to ask. "how many flings have you had?"
"no beating around the bush huh?" he scoffed, smirking at you. "can't remember how many."
"yet you've never had an actual relationship with any of them?"
"hey it's my turn now princess." he frowns, ignoring your question. "how many exes have you had?"
"just one." you tried to keep your answer short, not wanting to focus on the topic longer. "now answer my question from before. why not commit?"
"'coz i get bored easily." he replies. you wondered what he meant by getting bored but he spoke before you could even ask. "next, does yer ex live in miyagi?"
your eyes widened, "wait, how did you know i lived in miyagi?"
"i have my ways." he says. "so?"
"yeah, he does." you wondered why he was so invested in your ex but didn't bother asking about it. "how did you meet heather?"
"heather? ya mean the crazy chick?" you nod. "i don't remember actually. guess we just hooked up and she got attached, now she follows me around like a leech." he rolls his eyes in annoyance.
"yep, still don't get why she's so crazy about you." you said, remembering how desperate she was to get him back. "alright, next question."
"am i a good kisser?" even though you weren't looking at him, you could already imagine the smug look on his face.
"no."
"cap. if i was then ya wouldn't have kissed me back earlier."
your ears immediately turned red. "my turn." you changed the subject. "why did you kiss me then?"
you heard him humming before answering, "another punishment i forgot to give you earlier?" he replies, sounding unsure of himself.
"what? you already gave me one at lunch!"
"yeah, but you told suna about our deal so that's two."
"but she's my best friend! and i'm sure osamu knows too, that's not fair." you huffed.
atsumu blinks, trying to process what you just said. "wait... she?"
"yeah? yuki suna. i told her the very day we made the deal."
atsumu wanted to slam his head against the wall. all this time he thought it was suna rintaro that's why he got annoyed by it. "yer serious?"
"why would i joke about that?"
"you didn't tell suna rintaro?"
"no...? why would i?" you tilt your head in confusion as you faced him.
"aren't you buddies with him?" he raised a brow.
"not really, he just told me to call him by his first name so i did." you smiled at the thought of how kind he was. atsumu didn't seem to like it and clicked his tongue.
"tch, whatever. yer turn."
"you didn't answer my question!"
"yes i did."
"whatever. what's with the sudden change of attitude? you on your period or something?" you chuckle. "or maybe... you're jealous?"
"as if." he turns away from you.
"you are!"
"i'm not!"
"you so are."
"why would i be? it's not like yer my actual girlfriend." you didn't know why but what he said actually hurted you a bit. your smile disappeared, and atsumu noticed it. somehow he immediately felt regret.
"geez i was just kidding! alright next question." you two continued the game for a while. you began to tell stories with each other about your childhood, some funny memories and so on. you had learned more about atsumu and realized how you had grown to be comfortable with him.
after chatting for almost three hours now, playing random games or just plain fighting, you began to grow tired. atsumu noticed you yawning and how your eyelids began to go droopy.
"yer already sleepy?"
"no. i'm fine." you lied, but your head started to sway back and forth.
"here." he taps his shoulders. "rest." you hesitated for a bit, but your drowsiness got ahead of you. your head rests on his shoulder as your eyes fully shut.
"yer really somethin' else [Y/N] [L/N]." he smiles, wrapping his jacket around your shoulders as he placed his arm around your waist. "goodnight princess."
