"can you stop being such a nuisance?! god if only i knew you were like this i never would've dated you!" he pushes you away from him, making the water bottle that you were holding drop to the floor.
"i-i was just–"
"leave me alone! we're done!" he started to stomp out of the gym, but your hand grabbed his wrist in hopes of stopping him.
"wait please! can't we just–" he swings his arm away from you making you let go of your grip. he looked at you directly in the eye, but you felt like it wasn't the same person you once knew. the caring and sweet person you knew was gone, all that's left is a dull shade of blue with nothing but emptiness inside. they were someone else's eyes, a completely different person from the one you fell in love with.
"get the fuck away from me."
"nee-chan! nee-chan wake up!" someone was shaking you in hope of waking you up. "why did you sleep here? nee-chan!"
you felt your head pounding as soon as you regained consciousness. you felt something hurting from the back of your throat, and you felt your entire body burning up.
you slowly peeled your eyelids open to see who the person that was waking you up. "...takeru?"
your brother sighed. "it's 7am! why are you passed out at our front door? are you drunk?!" he crossed his arms.
you then felt the ache at your neck after he said that. it was probably because of the position you were in when you were sleeping. "no... i'm just..." you didn't have the energy to speak.
"come on, up you go!" he grabs your hand, but flinched as soon as he did so. "ow! you're burning!"
"yeah... it does feel hot does it? is the ac even on?" you tried to stand up but as soon as you did, you fell back from the lack of power you had. you felt like you couldn't even move a muscle.
"are you... sick?" takeru touched your forehead with the back of his hand, confirming that you were indeed not well. "you are! hold on, you need to get back to bed–"
"takeru, i'm fine relax." you chuckled at your brother's panicked state. "you should go to school or you'll be late." you told him when you saw that he was already dressed in his uniform.

"but–"
"come on buddy, i can do this by myself." you tried to stand up one more time but this time with the help of the table that's beside you. "see?" you smiled at him.
his frown deepened, obviously still concerned for you. "yeah but..."
"takeru, trust me alright?" you pat his head.
"alright... but i'm coming back home as soon as classes are over okay?" you nod at his statement. takeru opened the door to the house and rushed to go to his school in hopes of returning home early.
as for you, that was all an act to get your brother to go to school. in reality, your head was pounding so much that you couldn't even walk straight. you were still in the uniform that you had yesterday so you decided to get change first. unfortunately, your room was at the second floor so you had to climb the stairs.
"this is going to be a long day..." you sighed and proceeded to "walk" to your room.
meanwhile, atsumu was now headed to your house in hope of apologizing. sadly, he was really bad at it. whenever he and osamu would fight, no one would really apologize to each other. they would just sort of get along soon after and forget that they even fought. he never really apologized to his past flings before since he was never serious for a girl, so he was really clueless.
"i'm sorry...? no, that's too plain. i didn't mean to hit ya, my bad? that's gonna make me sound like a prick!" he contemplated as he walked. "uh, hey! didn't mean to do that, forgive me? no...? uhm... should i buy her some flowers? or maybe–"
atsumu was cut off by a kid running towards him, the kid's head hitting his torso. "ow, what the–"
"sorry mister!" the boy looks up at atsumu to apologize.
"oh, takeru? what're you in a hurry for?" takeru blinks before realizing he had just bumped into atsumu.
"i was heading to school!" he says, adrenaline still pumping into him since he was still running in place.
atsumu noticed that you weren't with your brother. didn't the two of you usually go to school together? "where's yer sister?"
"at home, i don't think she can go to school today, she's very sick." takeru calmed down from his jogging and frowned.

"she's sick?" atsumu felt sudden guilt wash over him. he couldn't help but to feel he was at fault somehow since he added to your stress because of what he did the day before.
"yeah. hey what are you–" without letting takeru finish, atsumu ran towards your house in hopes of not only apologizing, but also to help the [H/C] girl. takeru could only watch atsumu walk away from him and toward the direction of his home.
"well, take good care of her then." he said and went back on running to his school.
meanwhile, you finally managed to change out of your clothes into some button up pajamas to make yourself comfortable. your body was still weak and it felt like everything was burning around you. it didn't help that you also felt hungry, so you tried to go downstairs again to prepare yourself a meal.
keyword, tried.
as soon as you took one step down the stairs, your body fell limp causing you to sit down the top of the stairs. you mentally cursed at your dizzyness for not allowing you to do such a simple task.
"damn it..." you mumble, trying to regain your feet and standing up again.
"[Y/N]?" you hear someone knocking on the door.
"takeru...?" you couldn't shout so whoever was on the other side of the door couldn't hear you. you thought your brother might've just forgotten something so he came back.
"it's open!" you shouted, but immediately regretted it when it strained your throat. you coughed and took another step down.
the footsteps approached you, whilst you were still trying to go downstairs. "[Y/N]? what're you–"
when you took another step, your feet slipped causing you to almost fall and stumble down, but a muscular arm thankfully caught you before you made contact with the floor.
"what the hell were you doin'?!" the voice wrapped their arms tightly around you. you felt them shaking a bit, probably because of the sudden fall you almost took.
"w-who...?" you look up at the person who was holding you. your headache made your vision double and blurry, but you could see blonde hair and a maroon jersey. you stared into thier chesnut colored eyes to process their features.
"yer an idiot. i'm gettin' you back to bed." suddenly, the person picked you up bridal style and proceeded to carry you to your room.
"hey! what the hell!" you slapped their chest but of course with the strength you had left it was no use.
"this seems familiar doesn't it?" atsumu smirked, remembering the time when he picked you up to get you to the nurse's office.
"wait..." your brain tried to ponder why this figure was so familiar to you. blonde hair, maroon jersey and a noticable accent? "atsumu?"
"bingo." he says. he opened the door to your room, finding it quite messy and disorganized. not what he expected from you which surprised him. you felt him set you down to your bed then wrapping the duvet around you.
"wait here, i'll go cook somethin' for you." he told you once he tucked you in.
"why?" you ask, a bit of a harsh tone hinted in your voice. atsumu's features soften, of course you wouldn't forget what happened yesterday. it's not like you can just sleep and forget about it like he hoped you would.
"whaddya mean?"
"why are you here?" you furrowed your brows and hid half of your face with the duvet so only your eyes can be seen. "you can leave. i'm fine *cough* *cough* on my own." you coughed then looked away from him, a bit embarrassed you had to cough mid sentence.
"i'm not leavin' you like this [Y/N]." he stated, not looking away from you.
you rolled your eyes at what he said. "really? because the last time i checked i was being annoying. oh, and could you be pretending to worry about me?" you mocked and turned your body away from him.
"[Y/N]..." atsumu trailed off, unable to say anything else.
"just leave atsumu. i'm much better off alone." you wrapped your whole head with your duvet so he couldn't see your face completely.
"[Y/N]–"
"leave." you cut him off, your voice a bit louder this time. you heard him shuffle behind you, perhaps he was pacing back and forth. you could feel him contemplating, but soon enough he managed to walk out your bedroom allowing you to be alone once again. you didn't want to remember him through atsumu miya.
