《deal [M. ATSUMU]》06 ♪ Spike

"chance ball!"
"alright!"
the boys continued to play like normal. okay, maybe not. they would be lying if they said they weren't trying to impress the pretty girl who was taking their photos. it boosted their egos when you would take a picture of them specifically, but a certain blonde was not so happy about it.
"'samu!" atsumu called out to his twin as he tossed it to him, osamu quickly hitting it which earned them a point. you didn't fail to take a picture of osamu mid air who was in the middle of spiking. you smiled at the shot, thankful it was as good as you expected it to be.
atsumu could only stare. he wasn't an idiot for not noticing that you've been ignoring him the whole match, you would only ever seldom take his photos. most of them weren't even solo shots, he could tell. sure he was pissed off from the lack of spotlight, but he was also pissed off because of you avoiding him the whole time.
"how was it, [L/N]-san?" osamu asked the female who gave him a thumbs up.
"it's amazing osamu-san! great job!" you praised. you were told to address the twins by their first names to avoid any misunderstandings.
"tch." atsumu clicked his tongue in annoyance. osamu heard it and couldn't help but to tease his twin. "heard that 'tsumu? she praised me."
"whatever." osamu lets out a triumphant laugh at his brother's reply. he knew about the deal atsumu made with you, he told osamu about it when they were walking towards the gym for practice. osamu wasn't surprised that his twin came up with such a ridiculous plan, he only feeling sorry for the girl who was dragged into it.
they continued to play while you made sure to snap a photo for every move you find amazing. actually, you found everything amazing. you weren't into sports that much but seeing it from up close was a different feeling. you didn't know the rules nor the positions of the players, but you could already tell that they were all really good players. especially atsumu, who was so good that no one would complain for his tosses.
but of course you wouldn't let him hear you say that. you knew it would only boost the blonde's never ending ego. you were still pissed at him for lying to you about his relationship hence why you were avoiding him at all costs.

"mine!" akagi yelled, trying to receive the ball aran had just spiked. from the huge impact of the spike, the ball curved from his arm and flew somewhere else.
"[L/N]!" atsumu yelled when he saw the ball flying towards your direction. you were busy looking at the shots that was in your camera to see what was going on at the court so when you did look up, the last thing you could see was a ball blocking your view before making contact with your face.
"gAH–" you yelped in pain when it hits you at your face. the ball bounced as you stumbled backwards, your camera that was swaying at your chest was saved by the strap that was on your neck.
"[L/N]-san!" kita ran towards you, followed by the other members of the club. atsumu quickly ran rowards your body and tilted your head up, resting it on his lap.
"oi, stay awake aight?" he called out.
you could feel your face aching. soon, you felt liquid dripping down from your nose. "w-what just happened..." you peeled your eyes open and saw the boys crowding up on you with looks of panic on their faces.
"yer dumbass just got hit by a volleyball, that's what happened!" atsumu scolded. "someone get a tissue!" someone from the crowd ran to get some. meanwhile atsumu pinched the bridge of your nose to hopefully stop the blood from dripping.
"i-i'm so sorry [L/N]-chan! please forgive me!" akagi clasped his hands together and bowed slightly towards you. aran nods, apologizing as well.
"i-it's fine! i'm just..." the blood from your nose still didn't stop oozing out which made you panic a bit. you looked at your shirt and saw blood splatters on it. no, you didn't panic because of your nose. you panicked because–
"my camera!" you swatted atsumu's hand away and took the camera from your neck quickly in hopes of not getting any blood splatters on it. kita held onto it for you making sure it was safe.
"really? yer more concerned of the camera than yourself?!" atsumu yelled.
"it was expensive!" you fought back, suddenly feeling a sharp ache in your head. you grunt in pain which atsumu noticed.
"i'm takin' her to the infirmary, you guys can practice while i'm gone." atsumu began to slip his hands under your legs and neck to support you when he carries you bridal style.

"alright, we'll excuse you for now." kita says. "i'll bring her camera later."
atsumu nods and carefully picked your weak figure up. "h-hey, what do you think you're doing?" you tried to push him off but your weak state kept you from struggling much further.
"keepin' ya alive, idiot." he told you. that was the last thing you heard before completely passing out.
you carefully opened your eyes, still feeling the slight ache in your head. it was dim in the room, the only light source was coming from the moon out the window. you carefully sat up, patting your cupid's bow to check if there was still blood dripping from it. thankfully, there wasn't any. you sighed in relief and tried to remember the happenings from earlier.
atsumu carried me here... the thought made your cheeks turn red. you were just about to make a mental note to thank him for bringing you here when you see him, but you just noticed that the very same blonde was already right beside you.
his eyes were closed and you could hear his light snores, his head was resting at the side of your bed while he was sitting on a chair. the sight of him made you form a soft smile. you would've never thought he'd look this innocent while sleeping.
you didn't know what came over you but your hand found it's way to his dyed hair. your eyes widened at how soft it was, you thought he'd bathe it in gel or something but it was surprisingly fluffy. your hand played with the strands of his hair while you laughed softly. you wished you had your camera right now to take a picture of his current state because you almost found it adorable.
"what made you think yer allowed to touch my hair?" your hand quickly retracted when atsumu suddenly spoke, his eyes fluttered open.
"n-no i wasn't, what are you talking about?" you played innocent and looked away.
"nice try princess but i've been awake for ten minutes now." he smirks. he shuffles in his seat, still resting his arm on the soft mattress as he placed his palm under his chin for support. "so, how're you feelin'?" he asked.
"i still feel a little bit light-headed..." you replied. "but i think i'm good."
atsumu raised up one of his brow, seemingly unconvinced by what you said. "i'm takin' you home." the room was dark so you could hardly see his features that much, but you could tell that the teen didn't peel his gaze off of you.
"pretty sure i can go home by myself–"
"shut yer trap. i don't care, i'm still walkin' you home whether ya like it or not." he scoffs. you couldn't help but to let out a defeated sigh knowing he wasn't going to listen to you.
"fine." oddly enough, atsumu didn't reply. both of you stayed quiet for a few minutes, but it was a comfortable silence. no awkward tension, just both of you admiring each other's presence.
"i'm not in a relationship with heather." he broke the silence, making you frown a bit.
"what?"
"i'm not "cheating" on her, if that's what you're mad at me for." he sat up straight on his chair and crossed his arm.
"then why was she so mad earlier? it looked like she was ready to stab me." you let out a half-hearted laugh.
"she was just a fling, like most girls." he tore his eyes away from you and looked somewhere else. "but she was obsessive. we were never a thing to begin with, but she grew attached to me and thought we had somethin' special."
you could only roll your eyes at him. "it's not good to play with girls' hearts y'know." you started to fiddle with your thumbs, twirling them around each other. "i can never understand why they'd fall for you to begin with." you scoffed at him.
"that's why i chose you to begin with." he stood up from his seat and walked a few steps towards your bed. you felt the mattress sinking down when he sat beside you, your shoulders were touching his. you whipped your head around but when you did so, your noses were centimeters from touching.
"you'd never fall for me, right princess?" he placed his fingers on your chin, tilting your head up slightly. your faces were so close to each other that you couldn't help but to turn red and panic. you were about to push the boy away but then suddenly, the door bursts open.
