《deal [M. ATSUMU]》04 ♪ Lunch

as if things couldn't get any worse for you, yuki needed to attend a meeting for her swimming club. when you found out that she was athletic like her twin brother, you couldn't help but to be jealous at how the gods would gift the two siblings a talent you never had. you were the least athletic person out there, you couldn't even run without tripping.
"i'm sorry [Y/N], i'll be back after lunch okay?" yuki grabbed her stuff and walked out the classroom door leaving you alone with a pout on your face.
you were hoping she'd help you hide from atsumu this lunch, but the timing couldn't get any worse. you sighed, standing up from your chair as you proceed to walk out of the room in hopes of buying lunch before atsumu could see you. you didn't even know if he knew where your class was, but you were sure he'd be willing enough to find out.
you walked towards the cafeteria to buy some bread since you forgot to pack your bento and could only make one for your brother. you bought a choco cornet, which was your all time favorite. you were thankful the canteen in this school sells the specific bread or you would've had to run to a local bakery that was nearby for one.
you stared at the vending machine in front of you, still deciding on what to buy for a drink. you hummed as you placed your finger under your chin in deep thought.
"i suggest this one." the voice pointed at [F/D].
"oh, thanks!" you pressed the button and the machine dropped down the drink.
"no problem." you looked at the person who suggested you the beverage. it was a boy with jet black hair that pointed two ways at the back of his head, his bangs parted at the middle. his eyes were small and droopy, it reminded you of a snake from his green orbs.
"...i think i've seen you before..." you mumbled, in which he heard.

"you might know my sister. you see her a lot." the boy pressed the machine and a can dropped down, making a loud thud.
you carefully examined his features, trying to figure out where you had seen him before. "why are you starin' at suna? stop actin' like a creep."
an irk mark appeared on your forehead when you heard the voice behind you. you knew who it was right off the bat. "shut up." you snarled, facing him in annoyance. "oh... suna?" your features softened when you realize who the boy was.
"you're yuki's twin?"
"yeah. i'm suna rintaro." his lips formed a thin line but his eyebrows rose up as a greeting. "guessing you're [L/N] [Y/N]?"
"yeah! pleasure to meet you!" you didn't see it from behind but atsumu's brows began to furrow, his lips forming a frown. suna didn't fail to notice this and smirked to himself.
"nice to meet you too, [L/N]-san." he surprisingly pats the top of your head which only made atsumu's scowl worse. "i'll see you around. oh, and you too atsumu." he turned his heel and began walking away while chugging on his drink.
atsumu lets out a scoff behind you. "what're you doin' with him?"
you turned around to face the blonde and showed your can of [F/D]. "he suggested this drink, so i thanked him."
atsumu clicked his tongue and grabs your wrist, pulling you with him. "whatever. i came to yer room earlier but you weren't there. think you can escape again princess?"
"okay stalker, how did you even know where my class was?" you tried to catch up to his steps. "and can you quit it with the nickname? i have a name y'know!"
"sorry, what was yer name again?"
"you just called me by my first name this morning!"
"er... yumeko? tahari? hina?"
"it's [Y/N] [L/N] smartass."
"oh yeah, [L/N]." he finally stopped walking. you thought he'd let go of your wrist, but he intertwined his fingers with yours which made your eyes widen.

"hey–"
"yer eatin' lunch with me from now on. no buts, sit with me." he sat down at a table under a tree that was located outside the crowded cafeteria. you were surprised only a few people ate here, it seemed pretty relaxing and calming.
he didn't let go of your hand either, so you had no choice but to sit down beside him and set the food you bought down the table.
"is this really necessary?" you stared at your hands. you couldn't help but to feel slightly embarrassed at the sudden contact, especially since you were in public where everyone can see.
"look." he pointed at the direction behind you. there stood a group of girls who were tightly gripping their lunch boxes with yet another murderous aura surrounding them. "it's workin'. normally they'd flock around me by now." he smirks, looking back at you.
you could feel the girls glaring at you from behind which made chills run down your spine. "guess you guys both had something in common..." you muttered, remembering how atsumu glared at you yesterday.
"y'know, i still didn't get a proper apology from you." he rested his other arm on table, placing his palms on his cheeks.
"doesn't this act like an apology already?" you sighed, opening the chocolate cornet you bought.
"maybe if you feeded me i'd forgive ya easily." he eyed the cornet that you were holding.
you turned to him and gave the boy a sweet smile. "starve." you bit off of the bread harshly, pretending you didn't hear his request from earlier.
"tch." atsumu averted his gaze somewhere else.
you thought he'd normally eat lunch with his twin or his volleyball teammates, but he was alone here with you which you found surprising. "don't you normally eat with your twin or something?" you asked, a bit of bread still in your mouth.
"yeah, but i told him i was gonna eat with you." he replied. "got a problem with that?"
"well... we could always eat with him if you want." you suggested.
"he doesn't wanna. he said he'll only be a third wheel, which he hates." atsumu starts to rub his thumb on your hand out of sheer boredom. you looked down at your hand that was holding his, slightly blushing from what he was doing.
"can you stop that, i'm trying to eat here." you manage to mutter as you chewed. atsumu turns his gaze back to you with the same smug smirk he always held.
"are you flustered by a 'lil hand holding princess?" he teased.
"i told you to quit it with the nickname–"
"shit." he suddenly cursed which stopped your complains. "what?" you asked. atsumu was staring at something behind you, which you failed to notice.
"scoot closer to me."
"what? why would–"
"just do it!" he angrily mutters under his breath, so you agreed and scooted closer to the boy. atsumu lets go of your hand and wraps it around your waist, bringing you closer to him.
"baby?" you froze at the name calling. baby? the feminine voice made you question a lot of things in your mind. you knew she was calling atsumu, and you were scared she might pounce on you at any moment from the position you two were in.
"who's that?" you turned your head around, feeling atsumu's grip still clutching on your waist. a tall red headed girl, about an inch shorter than atsumu, pointed at you with disgust. her plumpy lips were coated with thick red lipstick that matches her auburn hair.
"hello there heather." atsumu greeted the girl. he forced a smile in and pulled you closer to him. "[Y/N], this is heather. heather, meet [Y/N]. my girlfriend."
i kinda based heather from Heather Chandler in heathers the musical ;)) (so many heathers in one sentence lmao)
