《Unnatural Disaster || JJK ✔️》Chapter 47 - Day 4 [Edited]

"Get up dear, you need to have some food. Don't you need strength to sign all those papers when you transfer your mafia to me?" the husky voice of my beloved uncle broke me out of my queasy slumber and I looked around to find myself in another new day. A tiny ray of the sun barged in through the hole on the wall and I could see the cynical stretch on my captor's face that I had begun to loathe so very much.
"There you are, good morning princess" I never knew the voice I used to love could ever disgust me so much. While enunciating his forged adoration, Sang Ook undid the ropes around my wrists so I could devour the stale bread he had brought me. The routine had been repeating itself for the past four days like a dejavu and I was beyond pissed.
However, unlike the other days, the room missed a certain presence today. Previously every time Sang-Ook came to visit me, his stupid son, Min Jun would tag along. He would just stand there watching me with a pesky smirk on his face or would sometimes crack one or two of those witless jokes of his. But today, he was no where to be seen. All the room accommodated was me and Sang-Ook.
Comprehending my searching gaze, the aforementioned tended to my reverie.
"Are you searching for my son, dear? Oh, he can't come visit you today, I'm sorry" a repulsive scoff fled my throat at his comment, more at the way he said it though.
Does he think I'm missing that retarded excuse of a human being?
Nonetheless, Sang-Ook continued with his soliloquy, "You remember the video we shot yesterday, Y/N? Well, I sent it to your dear brother Yoongi and I told him that if he wants to see you alive, he needs to come meet me at your Incheon warehouse today.
But I have to stay here and keep you company right? So I sent my son along with most of my guards to be there when our guest arrives. We don't want Yoongi to feel lonely, now do we?"
A sardonic chuckle filled up the big room and a sheer ache took over my head when Sang-Ook grabbed a bunch of my hair and roughly pulled me towards his face, boring his red eyes deep into mine.
"Just imagine Y/N-aah, how much fun you'll have to watch your brother being exposed to all sorts of ill treatments right in front of your eyes....Oh, my bad.....how much fun I will have"
His words contrived my brain to envision the appalling scene and it churned up some deep emotions in me, most of which was fear. It was high time that I did something now. Him hurting me was fine but now he was indulging my family into this and I couldn't let that happen. I needed to protect the ones I love and with all those pressures crowding up in my mind, an idea like a glimmer of amber abruptly cracked through.

I remembered Sang-Ook carrying a syringe infused with sedatives in his back pocket every time he visited me. He said he brought it as a precaution, for if I ever acted up.
And I remembered having desires to just snatch that needle away and jab it into his skin but I could never do that because an armed Min Jun would always be backing up his father. I ain't stupid enough to take chances when I know I am outnumbered.
But today, it was the perfect opportunity and it would have been foolish of me if let it pass...
So I, as delicately as possible, slid my hand under Sang-Ook's coat while he was busy raining his glare on me. I yielded utter caution as I didn't want him to know what I was doing. After a few seconds of oblivious beating around the bush, my fingers finally brushed against the slick plastic but just then Sang Ook let go of my hair, making me fall to the ground.
I landed hard on my butt yet still managed to hide the tiny contraption in my hand. I couldn't let him know I got it!
"I gave you options Y/N. You could have saved your brother with just one small signature but no, you chose your pride over your family. And now, if something bad happens to Yoongi, you'll be the only one accountable" Sang Ook heaved a disappointed sigh before beginning to stroll away but I knew exactly how to stop him.
"Aren't you overestimating yourself a tad too much, Ajhussi? You have known me since the day I was born. Do you really believe I'll let some sick weasel like you hurt my friends?" even though my voice sounded frail and broken, I still tried for my perseverance to manifest through my words and Sang Ook's facial expression that followed made me realize that to some extent, it did.
Unaware of my true intentions, Sang Ook spotted humor in my claims and with an amused grin appearing on his face, he strode right back to me before once again grabbing my hairs and pulling me up, higher this time, making me almost stand.
"You think you can save them? Look at yourself, you think you are strong enough?"
"" and with that, I shoved the needle in Sang-Ook's neck, right on one of his veins that peeped from under his thick skin.
His face contorted with pain and surprise and he opened his mouth to voice out his discomfort but I was quick to shut him up and I held his mouth strong and tight until he was finally passed out on the floor.
Hah....that was easy
Heaving a tired sigh, I stood up, picked up one of the long ropes that were previously used to restrain me and I made my way towards the opened door.

Even though Sang Ook was down, my work still wasn't quite done here for I knew that there was a man guarding the door. I have heard him talking quite a few times and from the loudness of his voice I could tell he stood right outside.
So I took very careful steps. I had a plan and if executed properly I could be free within minutes. But if not, I'd be a dead meat by the end of the day. And hence, I ought to be careful.
Once I reached the door I had to give up my soft demeanor for it was now time to make some noise.
Smirking to myself I opened the door with a quick pull, good thing that the door opened inside. And just as anticipated, a mountainous man stood right in front of me, facing away.
The man most probably thought it was Sang-Ook returning from his esteemed chore so he didn't react much but little did he know what cruel fate was awaiting him.
Wrapping the sides of the rough rope tightly in my fists I prepped myself for the impending attack. I didn't care how badly the coarse fabric cut my skin, I had to do this. And with a hasty move, I draped the middle part of the rope around the guard's neck, as tightly as humanly possible.
The poor guy was caught severely off guard. He tried to loosen the hold around his throat but by the time he got back to his right mind to counter my attack, I had already jumped on his back and latched my self onto him, there by pulling the rope with the entirety of my body mass.
Finding it difficult to unclasp the grip he tried to scream but then again, I had this surplus bread in my inventory and I made judicious use of it. I stuffed the dry piece of ration in his mouth, cutting his hopes off somewhere in the route.
After a few minutes of struggle, the man finally stilled in my arms but I didn't let go just yet. With my one hand still clutching on to the rope I brought the other near his nose to check if he had truly stopped breathing and once I was convinced, I let his body fall lifeless on the ground.
Looking down at his face I could see sheer terror in his wide open eyes and it made me realize how much lethal Kim Brute can be but if it is to save her family from a bunch of bad guys, I'm sure Kim Y/N would do the same.
Kneeling down in front of the corpse I checked his pockets for some vital ammunition and luckily enough I found a fully loaded Ruger Mark IV and a 22 caliber suppressor.
Jackpot!
After grabbing a hold of my loot I very quietly made my way up the basement stairs. Out in the living room sat two men, chatting and drinking beer on the couch. From where I was standing, I could have easily taken the two down with my gun but I didn't know who else might be lurking around the corner and I chose to save my amo. So I came down on my knees instead and crawled all the way to the kitchen.
As soon as I was securely concealed behind the kitchen walls, I jumped back on my feet and made a run for the fridge. I grabbed a bottle of water and shoved the entire content down my sore throat. Initially the cold touch against my swelled muscle burned af but once the fire was extinguished, I felt some of my vigor rushing back to me and I embraced them with open arms for I had some real hard asses to kick now.
And with the intention flying high, I leaped out of the kitchen window and landed on the fresh grass outside. Boy did it feel good to be free again.
After a small reconciliation with nature itself, I made my way towards the gate. As expected, there were two men guarding the exit whom I needed to get rid of. So hiding myself behind a tall bush, I aimed my gun at one of the men and bang, he was down.
If Jin was nearby I would have given him a tight hug for training me so well at aiming.
Because of the attached silencer, the shot didn't make any sound but the loud thud the man made when falling dead alerted his companion and the latter while recoiling his weapon started searching around for a possible source but alas, he too didn't get much time as my second bullet dashed out from the barrel and collided with his skull, right between his eyebrows.
Both the men were blessed with a quick painless death and just like that, I was free to step out the gates. However just as I was about to claim my freedom, a black Mercedes pulled up right outside the drive way followed by a black Jeep. I quickly took shelter behind a nearby tree, awaiting the automobiles to move in and make a way for me to run out of here. I could see Min Jun coming out of the first car and I tried my best to conceal myself from his eyes but as the back door to the Jeep opened and a certain figure came out, the entire plan of mine was left ruined.
What's Jungkook doing here?

Contact First
2039 - Earth A narrow beam energy signal appeared aimed squarely at earth from the TRAPPIST system. The communication consisted of a layered set of repeating data over several thousand wavelengths. Over the next few months scientists discovered that the lower wavelengths carried an encoded numerical language which could then be used to interpret the more complicated messages carried on the higher wavelengths. After half a year of painstaking work the signal was fully decoded. It described a small satellite launched along a precise trajectory towards the fourth planet of our solar system. Included was a package of advanced research that humanity would need to have ready in order to receive the satellite and decelerate it safely. The alien data provided the kick that humanity needed to turn from petty squabbling and unite to explore the final frontier. Major government and corporate leaders worked together to create the framework for the United Federation of Sol. UFS spaceports went from scaffolding to daily launches in every major city around the globe. Ships floated like dandelion seeds, spreading on solar wind to grow into colonies. 2397 - Mars orbit, Egeria Station The command center was a hive of activity as checks were conducted and systems initialized. Scientists flitted by like mayflies as communicators beeped and holoscreens spat out green tinted readouts. Nervous energy was thick in the air as everyone anticipated the culmination of over three hundred years of work. Massive fusion reactors under the planet's surface thrummed with barely restrained power as energy fed into a gleaming metallic maze criss crossing the planet. Metal fingers reached up, overshadowing the mighty olympus mons and trying to grab the stars. All over the solar system, people quickly turned to look as gigantic energy lances shot from the dusty fourth planet. Two years later. The same people that clapped loudly at the successful activation of project Hermes now wait with baited breath. A silver capsule trailing bright photonic sails is captured by a net of grav beams and guided with care bordering on reverence into the station. Holoscreens across the headquarters project an image of the sleek craft settling in the bay. Data connections are established and the holoscreens blink to white. Slowly an image forms on the screen. Across the headquarters people stare in wonder as a wholly alien face stares back. "Contact established. Welcome to the universe."
