Bianca sat next to Matilda's bed as the young female huntress, from Atlas' team AMBR, tossed and turned, occasionally opening her eyes revealing their yellow glow.

Ironwood: So there's really nothing you can do?

Bianca looked over to see Ironwood and Ozpin talking to a doctor.

Doctor: I've never seen anything like this. At first I thought it was sleep paralysis due to no response or the fact that she can't communicate with us but from what you provided via her medical record, there's been no history of narcolepsy or sleep apnea, ever.

Ozpin turned to Bianca.

Ozpin: Has Matilda ever shown any signs of stress?

Bianca shook her head.

Bianca: No. She was always ahead of her studies and was the brains of our group. When her and Ash started going out, she was the most happy person in Atlas.

Ironwood goes to a wall and punches it.

Ironwood: What the hell happened..?! This was supposed to be a top secret mission. How did we get found out?!

Ozpin watches his fellow headmaster and looks at the ground before turning his attention to Bianca.

Ozpin: Describe this 'mysterious man.' What did he look like?

Bianca looks at the ground remembering all the boys feature's before looking at Ozpin.

Bianca: He had black messy hair with a fringe that barely covered his right eye which was yellow like his left. He also had a black ripped up cloak with a hood. Umm...a grey shirt, black pants with a silver chain on the right side that was connected to his left pocket. The most distinct piece of clothing on him was a red scarf.

Ozpin: Black hair and yellow eyes...?

Ironwood: The clothing is all dark colours except for his red scarf.

Ironwood was writing it all down.

Bianca stands up.

Bianca: I say we hunt down that son of a bitch and make him help Matilda!

Ironwood turns and approaches her.

Ironwood: I trained you and your team myself. One of you is in some sort of coma that's been caused by something supernatural and the boys are dead!

Bianca: But-

Ironwood: But nothing! Until we have intel on this new enemy, we can't do anything. Now come with me. I need a debrief.

Bianca looks down and walks out of the room. She looks up and sees you leaning against the wall. Both your eyes and hers make contact for a second which felt more like a minute before she walks past. Ironwood comes out not looking at you and goes after her.

Ozpin: (Y/n) I know you're there.

You jump and gulp. You enter the room slowly as Ozpin looks down at Matilda. You go next to him and look down at her. You see Matilda open her eyes a bit only for a dark aura to come out, causing them to shut again. The aura then appears around her head as she grunts.

Ozpin: That aura looks familiar.

You peer over at him for a second then return your sights on Matilda. He looks at you from the corner of his eyes.

Ozpin: (Y/n). I don't know what you found in that cave or what those amulets that you have around your neck are, but, I hope that they can counter this sudden problem we have.

Ozpin points over at Matilda as her expression showed fear and confusion.

Star: (Y/n). Nightmare's using her like a phone.

(Y/n): What? You mean he's just waiting for us to pick it up?

Star: Yes and I'm the only one that can answer it.

You look down at Matilda and sigh.

(Y/n): Alright. Take over. Let go if it gets too serious.

You're eyes flash into a hazel colour as Star takes over and looks down at Matilda.

He steps forward and sits on a clear space on the bed.

Ozpin: Mr Hunter?

Star (as you): I need concentration.

Star looks up at him.

Star (as you): I'm sorry, that came out really rude. Just, if you want me to help her then I need silence.

Ozpin stares before nodding and backing away. Star then closes his eyes after putting his hands on each side of Matilda's head.

A light aura traveled from your arms down to your elbows as a dark aura came off from Matilda's head and tangled with the light aura after meeting it in the middle.

Ozpin watches and raised an eyebrow as he watches you breathe in and out slowly. Suddenly Matilda's eyes open revealing their yellow glow as she looks at you and grabs you by the throat and lifts you off your feet.

Ozpin: (Y/n)!

He goes to interfere but Star puts his hand out telling him to stop.

Star (as you): It's okay.

Star easily pulls Matilda's hand away.

Star (as you): You can control and communicate but you don't have your strength, Nights.

Matilda smirks and pulls her arm away.

Matilda (controlled): Bright as ever little light.

Ozpin looks at Matilda.

Ozpin: Are you alright Matilda? Bianca was worried sick.

Star stops him by putting an arm across his chest.

Star (as you): It's not Matilda. Not yet.

Star returns his gaze on the controlled Matilda.

Star (as you): What do you want?

Matilda looks down and shrugs.

Matilda (controlled): The same things as you. A way home.

Star (as you): You say that like I could open that black hole, that randomly appeared, back up.

Matilda stands and pushes him against a wall.

Ike: Christ she's a strong woman! You work with what you get I guess?

Matilda (controlled): It was that relic! When you sealed me in it, it triggered that black hole like portal some how!

Ozpin dug into his pocket pulling out the relic that had Star, his brothers and Nightmare trapped inside.

Ozpin: Sorry to interrupt, but is this what you're talking about?

He holds it up showing it off.

Matilda looks at it and pushes Star aside.

Matilda (controlled): That's it!

Matilda walked towards him as Star sits up and looks at it.

Star (as you): You have it?!

Ozpin: We studied it and found no trace of energy. Sorry 'Nights' but this is nothing more than a rock now.

Matilda stopped and clenched her fists.

Matilda (controlled): What...?

Star stands up and looks at them both.

Star (as you): It has no energy??

Ike: Crap. That means we can't seal him again!

Jasper: Yeah. Like it WAS going to work if we did it again.

Star stands up.

Star (as you): Blame me Nightmare.

Matilda looks at him.

Star (as you): I knew about the whole one time only thing...but I didn't know about the whole portal to another world or possessing a host if the relic was found.

Matilda growls and grabs the relic before tossing it at Star who dodged as it collided with the wall, breaking in two.

Matilda inhaled deeply then exhales as she stands up straight and composed herself.

Matilda (controlled): A minor set back. After all it's not like I'm the only one who'll be stressing out.

She looks at Star with a smirk.

Matilda (controlled): Who knows what the Seven are doing in my absence.

This made Star's expression go from serious to worried as he looks down.

(Y/n): The Seven?

Jasper: The deadly sins. They're under his leadership. Liberated by him, waiting for the perfect time to strike. I don't even want to imagine what they're up to right now.

Ike: They are powerful but not the brightest. They'd be fighting over leadership with Nightmare missing.

Star: Unfortunately that's the only thing we can rely on as a distraction for them.

Matilda gets back into the bed and sighs.

Matilda (controlled): The plan doesn't change. I will find a way back and leave you here, little light, to rot.

Matilda lays back.

Star (as you): You won't win this time. You're alone, no allies.

Matilda smirks.

Matilda (controlled): Who said I'll be alone?

Ozpin watches as Matilda closes her eyes and she gasps opening them back up as they return to their normal colour.

Matilda: Wha-Where am I?! Ash?!

Ozpin puts his hand on her shoulder.

Ozpin: It's okay Matilda. You've been in a fight and are just recovering.

Matilda looks around before looking at Ozpin.

Matilda: That...thing...it showed me terrible, hurtful things. Where is Ash?

Ozpin frowns and looks at Star who gives you back control as your eyes return back to (E/c).

Ozpin: I...don't know how to tell you this but...I'm afraid Ash is gone.

Matilda's eyes widen as she looks at you then back at Ozpin.

Matilda: So...it really wasn't an illusion? Riley and Ash are...?

Ozpin simply nods and looks down.

Matilda goes pale as she looks at her hands and brings them to her eyes and breaks down.

Bianca comes back, bursting through the doors.

Bianca: Matilda!

She runs over to her and hugs her teammate who just cries in her arms.

Ironwood comes in as he, Ozpin and yourself watch the last two members of team AMBR comfort each other.

Adam was staring out a window while Roman was spinning a coin on the table as pink and brown haired girl named Neo watched. Adam tapped on his sword and growled.

Adam: Where is she? She should be here by now.

Roman stares at him as he flicks the coin up and catches it.

Roman: She'll be here. She called this meeting after all.

On cue, a lady wearing a red dress walks in with a girl with green hair and red eyes and a guy with grey hair and black eyes.

Roman: Cinder. Brats.

Mercury and Emerald stare at him pissed.

Cinder takes her seat and sighs.

Cinder: So. Why was I called here?

Adam turned and looked at Roman who looked at him with an eyebrow raised. They both look at her.

Adam: You called us in for this meeting. Right?

Cinder looks at him.

Cinder: No...? You messaged me anonymously from an unknown number. I assumed it was you.

Roman stands up.

Roman: So did we...

Cinder stands up slowly.

Cinder: Adam. Your men did a perimeter check correct.

Adam nods when suddenly a white fang soldier enters.

White fang member: Sorry to interrupt. There's someone who wants to speak with all of you.

Cinder looks.

Cinder: Who?

White fang member: Didn't say his name. The perimeter guards have him stopped at the front of the village.

The three glance at one another then look at their subordinates before they all leave the room to head towards the front of the village.

Meanwhile the unidentified man protests against the male and female guard.

Guard 1: Like we said. The boss isn't expecting anyone besides a lady in a red dress.

???: If it wasn't for me, you'd all have hunters and huntresses on your dumbasses.

He pulls out a piece of paper, a map to be precise and tries to hand it to the female guard.

???: Here. Maybe put it somewhere they won't search next time.

The guard snatches it off him and looks at it.

Guard 2: The map from the warehouse that went missing?! Where did you get this?!

She points her spear at his throat.

Guard 2: Choose your words wisely human.

The black haired male simply pushes the spear tip away from his throat and looks at her.

???: I'd say the same about you Miss. Your attitude definitely needs adjustment. Shall I assist with that?

His eyes glow bright yellow as he leans forward causing the two guards to back up.

Adam: Enough!

The guards look at Adam and stand up straight making way for him and the rest of the group.

The black haired male smiles and stands up straight.

???: Mr Taurus I presume?

Adam eyes the boy up and down before circling him.

Adam: You must have a suicide wish, gathering all of us and coming here by yourself.

The boy snickers a little as Adam looks at him and reaches for his sword.

Cinder: Wait.

Adam looks at Cinder who approached the boy and stops in front of him.

Cinder: Forgive my ally. He's not too trusty with humans who randomly show up unannounced.

The boy chuckles.

???: Well its a good thing I don't fall under the category of human then.

This catches Cinder off guard and confused.

Cinder: Oh? Then what are you?

The boy smiles and puts his hand out.

???: You may call me Nightmare. I come bearing a warning to all of you and my assistance.

Cinder looks at Roman and the rest of the group. She turns back to the boy with a smirk and shakes his hand

Cinder: What warning?

Nightmare looks at the big house in the middle of the village and gestures to it.

Nightmare: May we...?

Cinder looks at the house then at Nightmare. Then suddenly, Roman cuts in.

Roman: The rules DO say 'Don't shoot the messenger.' Especially if he's so willingly offering assistance.

Cinder sighs and moves aside as the new mysterious ally walks forward towards the house with a smile on his face with the others following cautiously behind him.
