Early morning Rahul knocked on Vikram's door.

As the door opened, he bombarded Vikram with questions, "How Is she? Where is she?"

" She is in her room getting ready. As for how is she, her nightmares are back." Rahul's face wrenched up with worry.

" I should have come back sooner." He regretted.

" It is better that you are back now. Anyways I kept her company." Rahul nodded gratefully.

He heard the clicking of a door and they rushed inside to look at the prim and proper secretary of Mr. Raheja.

Rahul rushed to her side and kissed her forehead, " How are you?"

She choked on words and hugged him tightly.

Vikram gave them privacy and picked up his phone

Juhi's message was immediate.

J: Glad to know that. I shall see you in the evening?

He was eating breakfast when Rahul and Sneha joined him.

" Man, thanks!"

" Are you alright? You and saying thanks? To me?" Vikram replied dramatically.

" Hush, you drama king! I'm taking her back home. See you in the evening."

" Be on time." He glared at his secretary who gave him equivalent glare.

Chuckling Rahul and Sneha started on their way back home.

Juhi was ready for the day.

Now the next task was to make breakfast as per orders of mother dearest.

She tied her dupatta to the side and started gathering the ingredients.

She made Poha as it was easy to make.

Starting with cutting the fruits, she heard the sound of her parents talking.

" What are you going to do for Jodhpur project?" her mother voiced.

" I'm planning to sell the land." Her father replied.

" How long will we keep on hiding and succumbing to his demands?" Her mother demanded.

'Why are they so worried about Jodhpur project? Dad plans to sell the land...what do they mean by succumb to his demands?' Juhi's mind was in a whirlwind.

" Juhi would be safe, right?" Her mother's voice broke the flow of her thoughts.

" Vikram is a smart guy. He knows that Verma well and with the Verma sister by their side. They should be safe." Her father declared.

'Verma sister! Who was she?'

' What did she mean by their side? This is not making any sense!'

She finally cut all the fruits and took the breakfast to table.

The parents conversation came to a hush on her arrival.

They were definitely hiding something from her.
