" Juhi...", he drawled.
She stared deep into his eyes. Now she had stopped blinking even to Vikram's astonishment.
A second later tears appeared and Vikram lost his resolve.
He pressed his hands onto hers and took them down.
" Juhi...it is my problem. I don't want you to be involved in trouble."
She shaked her head, " But..."
He raised a hand stopping her, " No buts. It is better if you stay away from all this."
Juhi stared at his hand for an entire minute.
Vikram's eyes followed her movements.
At the time she was stunned and in a minute she turned abruptly to Sneha.
Her movements shocked the two of them.
Sneha had refocused her attention back to the ground.
The time was difficult and Juhi being here did no help.
She saw a pair of heels stop in front of her, but she didn't dare look up at its owner.
Juhi placed her hands on her shoulders and pulled her to a hug.
" Sneha, are you ok?" Her voice was gentle and reminded Sneha of home.
She could not open her mouth with her emotions all fresh. She just nodded her head.
Juhi leaned back and stared into her eyes or at least tried to. She tightened her hold on Sneha's shoulders and forced her to look up.
" I know you are not!"
Sneha's lip quivered but she repeated what Vikram said,
" Juhi, don't get involved."
" Why should I not? You two can't just take decisions on my behalf!" She was annoyed. She wanted to make peace and fight alongside the two against the secret person.
" Juhi, don't be a child.", Vikram reprimanded.
Sneha could see the flaring of Juhi's nose from where she stood. She knew if this was not stopped here, it could escalate to new heights.

"Vikram is protecting the both of us, Juhi. He knows the best." Sneha supplied gently.
Juhi whipped her head in Sneha's direction and back to Vikram.
She took three angry steps in his direction and stopped close to him. She was angry there was no questioning that.
A angry finger poked on his chest, "Why does she get to stand beside you and I don't? I am not important for you, right?" Her voice shaked and tears were filled in her eyes. But she dare not look up into his eyes, her focus was the finger poking his chest. " You take decisions on my behalf without letting me know why did you do that. I try my best to ignore the fact that Sneha lives in your house and she happens to be close to you. Closer than me, or for that matter closer than I can ever imagine. She knows you well and knows the problem." Her finger stopped poking and she just dropped it down.
She breathed heavily and turned around to leave the office.
Vikram was staring at this woman. She had so many things going on in her head. He saw her turn around and she was about to leave the cabin.
He catches hold of her hand. She tried pulling her hand . She wanted to go , she was done for the day.
Vikram didn't let her hand go and pulled her harshly back to her. She landed in his arms, her head on his chest but attention on that hand, still trying to pull it back.
Vikram brought his other hand up and stroked the tendril that had fallen loose off her bun. He was lost in a trance and so was she.
She looked up at him, finally. " Vikram, tell me what is wrong?"
" No, Juhi." He stated plainly.
" Yes, Vikram."
" Why are you being so persistent?"
" Can't you share your problems with me?, she pouted.
" I can but..." she put her other hand on his mouth.
" We are done with buts. You can't share your problem with me because I'm still a stranger to you, right?"
He kept staring at her not knowing the direction of her thoughts.
" Marry me Vikram! Then we can share our problems together."

LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER (Completed)
Lady Chatterley's Lover is a novel by D. H. Lawrence, first published privately in 1928 in Italy, and in 1929 in France and Australia. An unexpurgated edition was not published openly in the United Kingdom until 1960, when it was the subject of a watershed obscenity trial against the publisher Penguin Books. Penguin won the case, and quickly sold 3 million copies. The book was also banned for obscenity in the United States, Canada, Australia, India and Japan. The book soon became notorious for its story of the physical (and emotional) relationship between a working class man and an upper class woman, its explicit descriptions of sex, and its use of then-unprintable words.
