They all walk out . Blood is still oozing from my nose . I'm still almost naked , as in in a bra and panties .

The guard walks in and pours me with water. His face is very apologetic as if he doesnt want to do this . But I can imagine the threats that came from those crazy hags .

"At first, they told me that you wrecked their homes and you were planning on wrecking the thinner one's home .

I nod in understanding. Honestly I expected it.

Then suddenly the doors are dragged open with so much anger . I look at the two women getting closer . Have they not had enough already?

"Leave." Genna says to the guard . He looks up and nods . He leaves but not before throwing an apologetic glance at me.

He closes the ware house door and the entrance looks completely black .

"So you tried to escape?" Genna asks . What the fuck?

"What? No." I reply. Her hard hand collides with my cheek as she slaps me hard .

"Dont you dare make a fool of us , you bitch." Melanie says . She pulls out a long extension cord .

She folds it and pours water onto it . She begins hitting me with it . On my arms , on my thighs, on my shoulders . On my face .

"Let's get it up a notch ." She says , grabbing a really thin whip .

She hits it against my skin and it begins cutting through my skin . The cuts are not deep but they are very painful .

I scream out in pain. These two aren't even bothered .

"Please , I didnt try to escape. I never tried to leave Genna. Please , please ." I beg , tears burning out from my eyes .

She just states at me .

"I warned you Cassandra Smith . I warned you to stay the fuck away from Ace , but you didnt listen.

Cassiey dear , had you listened to me , youd be in your own apartment living lavish . Having the happily ever after that you deserve.

Melanie puts her hand on my neck and locks eyes with me .

She tightens her hand around my throat . And she growls at me , the longer she holds me the further I feel as if I'm dying . I cant feel myself slipping in and out of consciousness. Blood is running out of my body and quickly from my lips.

"Its time to sign the papers . " Genna says .

"Your time as Mrs Bernett is over." She says . And the doors are pushed open.

"Oh , Kayla . What took you so long , get over here and help . She's dying today ." Genna says .

My ears are giving in on me . Conversation is thrown back and forth , but I hear nothing. Melanie is still strangling me and my throat feels like it's getting thinner and thinner . She holds on tight and growls louder . The ringing in my ears stop when I hear the one voice I'd always wanted to hear .

Now I know that I'm dead. I stop fighting Melanie , if heaven looks like this then I'd gladly be here .

"I love you Ace." I choke out the words . Blank it goes.

Ace's POV

The moment Jason parks the car . We go over the plan.

"Listen here you harlot. You are going to walk in , you're the distraction . I'm going to get weapons from that guard over there and we're getting in . Dont you dare think about running or talking , because if you do I'll know and you're going to regret it ." I say to her .

She nods, tears running down her cheeks. Crocodile tears .

Adrenaline pumps through my veins .

"Jason, go with her . I dont trust this bitch of yours . " I say to them .

I head out . The guard looks a bit wary .

"Give me your gun." I say to the guy.

"Please, just dont hurt her . She's pregnant , I dont know what she did to those angry women but please dont hurt her." He begs me .

"She's my wife , I'd never hurt her." I say taking the guns from his hands .

When I get to the doors I hear a voice I know very well.

"... Kayla what took you so long ? Get over here and help , she's dying today." The voice says .

Genna?

There is growling coming from the room , I don't know from what or who but it makes my blood boil.

Kayla doesnt say anything .

"Kayla what the fuck , get here right now!" She yells.

I hest scrunching coming from the room , she's walking closer .

"You are going to sign these divorce papers and you're going to die . Its really easy Cass , and the more you cooperate, the faster and less painful it will be." Genna says .

"Stop this shit right now." I yell .

When I walk into the room , my heart almost gives in .

The image is one that will always taunt me in life. Cassiey is bloodied , she is half naked and Melanie is strangling her . What I hear next is what kills me .

"I love you Ace." She says , then her face falls .

I grab Melanie's body and throw it to the right .

"No , no. Cassiey please wake up. Please baby , I'm here . No , please. " I cry . She still doesnt move .

I turn to the three women that did this to her . All self respect leaves me and I launch myself at Melanie .

When I land ontop of her , I punch her over and over again . Everyone is yelling for me to stop .

I pick her up and throw her at Genna . I kick Genna on her stomach and she grunts .

There's a long beam on the floor, I hit everyone everywhere . They're all crying out in pain . I hit them so much until I give in.

I pick up the gun and I shot the ceiling of the warehouse.

"Who is the one that conducted this?" I ask in a dangerously low tone.

Everyone points to Genna. Goodnight bitch. I shoot her leg. She cries out in pain , nothing can master up to the pain I felt because of her.

I hear sirens sounding from outside the warehouse.

"Police , keep your hands in the air. " The officer says , he finds me untying Cass from the chair .

I carry her . Outside I find an ambulance waiting to put her in .

I drive to the hospital with them . The entire way , I'm saying a silent prayer . The Lord be with me , so that I dont go back to the holding cells and kill those three.

My wife does not deserve this . Immediately when the ambulance stops , I bolt out and help the paramedics pull her out and put her onto a stretcher.

"Where are her clothes sir?" One nurse asks .

"I dont fucking know ." I say , pushing hands into my hair .

This can not be happening .

I run hot against their heels as they take her to the emergency room.

"She's pregnant! Please, make sure my son is okay. Please just save my family for me." I beg them .

Lord please save her for me . Do this one favour for me . I know that you're a God of miracles.
