New texting format, yay. Btw, this chapter is like 75% texting. Hehehehehe ~ Author
—————
7:38 AM
I turned off my phone and groaned. I constantly smacked my face with a pillow.
"Augh, why is life so difficult? I thought everyone has the right to make their own decision. Why isn't there a decision for us to be born or not?" I whined.
I grabbed my phone and just stared at Taehyung's name in my contact list. "Why is texting you so difficult?" I muttered.
I began typing and deleting messages over and over, struggling to even send a single text without hesitating. I sighed and I finally sent him a text.
7:56 AM
I couldn't stop staring at the text, I was filled with so much regret.
I wonder if he's ever gonna reply.
—————
"So, umm, how is it?" He asked, worried.
"It's fine." I answered with an innocent smile. He smiled back.
"It's my first pizza, I'm glad you liked it." He said, scratching his head.
Lance invited me over his house to comfort me. He made his first pizza to cheer me up, he knew I like pizza.
He kept sending me secret glares, I knew he was concerned, so I looked back. He looked away, trying to dodge my gaze.
"Don't wait for a reply, text again." He said softly, then looked in my direction.
I smiled at him and nodded lightly. I grabbed my phone and noticed that my text was left on 'seen', which meant that he saw it, but didn't reply. I sighed and began typing the message.
4:43 PM
I waited for his reply and to my success, my phone vibrated. I grinned, hoping for the text to be him. My grin grew wider as I noticed that he replied to my text. I saw Lance staring at me with a small smile. I read his text then..

I knew I just had to reply already, I want my Taehyung back. (possessive much?)
My eyes widened and Lance twitched his eyebrows when he noticed my shocked expression. My phone rang and I accepted his call.
I heard his voice. (Of course, it's a call, what do you expect?)
"Hi." He spoke with his improved English and a little sprinkle of his Korean accent.
"Hi." I replied plainly.
"I want to believe you, but I can't."
"What's stopping you?"
"The fact that I just met you and I can't trust you easily." He spoke. It broke my heart, I just felt like dropping the phone and fall on my knees.
I didn't say anything, my mind was completely blank. "Amber." He sighed, then he ended the call.
I don't know what to say.
I couldn't stop staring at her, she looked so upset. I approached her and sat beside her on the couch. I tried comforting her by poking her cheek, she always smiles whenever I do that. I expected a small smile but instead, she sniffed and cried on my shoulder.
I pouted and sighed, "Don't lose hope, you'll never know what the future could be." I said, trying to remove all the negativity in her mind. She continued sniffing and whined like a little baby. I chuckled at how cute she was.
I smiled and stood up. I walked to my bedroom and found a box full of tissues, I smirked and instantly grabbed it. I grabbed the tissues one by one and threw them all on her head. "There, it's for your tears, kid." I chuckled.
I saw her secretly smile in the middle of her tears, then she began chuckling, "You idiot.." she spoke softly, enough for me to hear. "You're gonna pay for that." She added while sniffling and smiling.

She grabbed the tissues that I threw on her head, some fell on her lap and some fell on the floor, to clean herself up. She clenched her first and playfully punched my stomach several times.
"Ow." I whimpered.
Her jaw dropped and she showed a concerned look. "Oh my gosh, are you alright?" I pretended to be hurt. "Oww, you punch hard!" I cried.
She kept on saying "Oh my gosh" with a worried expression and it was too much for me to handle, I knew I had to stop.
I moved my arms to her stomach, tickling it without her expecting it. She giggled and tried to slap my hand away but failed.
Then her smile faded away.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked.
"He won't get off my head. Look, I'm soooo sorry for ruining it but I can't, I just can't let him do this to me." She replied.
I sighed, "I swear, if that man won't forgive you, for the last time I'm gonna smack his face, no matter how far he is. Awh man, I can't believe I used to stan him." She laughed and nodded, "Fine, this is the last time I'm texting him."

Falling for a Star (Complete)
I had never paid much attention to celebrity gossip or what was going on in Hollywood because that was so far from the lifestyle I lived as a poor college student, working as a barista to save up for my own house after graduation. But then, without my knowledge, my Dad submitted my name into a talk show sweepstakes to win a week with Hollywood superstar Dylan Chase, to see what it's like to live like a celebrity for a week. My Dad thought it would be the perfect chance for me to get out of Iowa, see the world and have an adventure for once. I was dreading leaving home, flying for the first time and going by myself all the way to L.A. Plus the idea of spending a week with an arrogant, rich, snobby actor that was probably the worst kind of womanizer didn't sound like my idea of fun. What I found when I got there and met Dylan was the total opposite; a man that was humble, hard working, easy to talk to, and down to earth. Spending a week in Paradise in the guest house of Dylan Chase's Malibu mansion right on the beach, attending a movie premiere on his arm, shopping on Rodeo Drive and eating at five star restaurants was like a dream come true, but sleeping in his bed and falling for a guy from a completely different world than me was never part of the plan because we could never end up together.
